Pizzas are good, but small. Same goes for the slices. The crust is cooked really well and has a lot of flavor. Not just soggy bread. The subs are ok. The deli meat is sliced too thick for me. I prefer thin slices that are tender and easy to chew. Maybe they're giving out more meat than other places. My favorite pizza from here is meat lovers special. Someone there contacted me directly after my complaint and explained the situation of the store at the moment, and then asked if I would give them another shot. They comped my meal, and I have to say, having the food hot and fresh makes a massive difference. The pizza was great! But above all I can tell this is business that cares about it's customers and it's product. Kind of disappointed. We ordered our food around 6:45 on Sunday and it arrived an hour later (pretty normal) but cold. The pizza was not hot at all, and the onion rings were just a weird floury mush. Staff here are great and service is pretty fast. I usually order to-go in person and it's never taken more than 15-20 mins. Most of the time I order wraps with grilled chicken and they're often so over stuffed that they fall apart after a few bites. Truthfully, I don't even care when this happens because their food is so damn tasty! The four stars is because I found a hair in my food today, after the bottom of the wrap gave way and it's contents all fell out. Oh Pizza etc. I lived in brighton and you were my favorite place to get delivery from. I will miss you.......... I moved to another city since but was in Brighton so thought I would pick some up. I grabbed a chic ceaser salad and had a few bites thern put the rest in my fridge for later. No big deal right? WRONG!!!!!!! Upon finishing the salad I looked down on the fork and noticed MOVEMENT. It was a little green bug slowed down by salad dressing. I called the manager and she said "usually we wash everything thoroughly ." USUALLY??? NOT EVERY TIME..? It is a rare occasion for me to give take-out pizza 5 stars... but this is well deserved. Fast delivery, delicious pizza, really convenient, open late, great prices. And that's all you need to know. Granted, living less than a block away, the fast delivery is just expected, but what I did not expect was to order pizza at 1am and have it be enjoyable! Not greasy, lots of cheese, delicious crust, variety of toppings which they do NOT skimp on, and all for a very very reasonable price (even with tip/delivery). Ordered from there for the first time last night. I've been looking for non-greek pizza and wings that could be delivered inexpensively to my Brighton apartment for a while. I've spent two and a half years searching and searching and never finding anything that compares to LaNova or Ying's in my beloved Western New York. The closest place that serves cheap pizza like that is Dial A over in Somerville, but they don't deliver to the hinterlands of Brighton. Pizza Regina is great, but they cost an arm and a leg to get out here. So after reading a few Yelp reviews, I figured I'd try these guys. Pizza Etc. did not let me down, completely. The person that took the order was nice and efficient and got everything right. The delivery was rather quick for 9pm on a Friday night. The service was great. I love that they know the difference between Buffalo Wings and Wing Dings (If you don't know the difference kindly find out or we can't be friends. I am irrationally passionate about this particular issue.) The Wing Dings that I'd asked them to toss around in hot buffalo sauce ended up pretty good. Not great, not huge, and not extra spicy, but passable. Their blue cheese was not very chunky, though. And no celery or carrots with the wings. Could have been much worse, though. The pepperoni pizza was thin crust, not much olive oil at all, and had very tasty sauce and cheese. Also, it was cooked perfectly. At last, something that could pass for good pizza in this hinterland of, well, crap. I'll try them out a couple more times and see what happens. I'm not looking for perfection (hell, I like Dial A, so...). I just want something that is passable, and this place fits the bill so far. read more

The chicken broccoli alfredo pie I ordered was pretty good. And the fact that it's different from most pizza places in the area makes it shine. The crust is not thin, not thick. The flavors of the sauce and cheese inspired a certain rich tanginess. I found this really disappointing based on other yelpers reviews. Ordered the chicken parm sub and was greeted by an over toasted crunchy bun and a dry chicken cutlet. I was hoping for a nice piece of chicken with sauce. There was barely any sauce to speak of. The chicken was over cooked, yet parts of the cutlet where still floured and dry. Grab yourself 3 slices and you've got a piping hot, deliciously cheesy meal. If ordering delivery, the full pizzas are just as good with smaller slices. My only menu complaint would be in the sandwich category. The chicken stir-fry wrap in particular is a 200% saturated pile of grease. And I'm not talking 'guilty pleasure' grease - I'm talking 'instant coronary sans flavor' grease. For Gyro fans, grab the pita sandwich (small but satisfying to taste). The cheese steak selection is pretty on-point as well. Service is always friendly and prompt. Living in the neighborhood they become pretty familiar faces. This spot is quickly becoming my go-to for late night grub. I work ridiculous hours and it's nice to have a place open late in the neighborhood for tasty food when I come home seven days a week. Their calzones are solid. Big portions, for sure - I usually have to eat mine in two servings. Sandwiches are just as good - a little expensive but worth it. Again, big portions so that's how I justify it. Pizza's your usual fare, but they have lots of options so it helps if you're feeling indecisive. Pizza is probably my favorite food. It is hard to cook up a pizza I do not like. However, I rarely give repeat business unless the pizza hits the spot - Pizza Etc falls into this category. The pizzas are great (crust can be a bit chewy), delivery is efficient, the restaurant is spotless, employees are pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. One pet peeve - call me a germaphobe, but I hate it when I order a slice and the server uses their bare hands to grab my pizza. I have had this happen twice. You were obviously touching something other than soap and water before you put your mits on my slice. Chefs are exempt from this rule because they do not touch money then my food. Money is gross. We've been going to Pizza Etc for years. We lived in newton Corner for about 5 yrs when we first ordered from there. Then after the "divorce" I moved to brighton and continue to order from there. They are friendly and deliveries are always quick and the prices are decent. Also, 99.9% of the time, they get the order right. No one's perfect, but they're damn close. I'm somewhat of a pizza expert and they're pizza is definately in the top ten. If they made their crust crispier, they'd move on up in the top ten. For those who like spicy and CRISPY fries, this is the place to get them. They give you decent portions for both small and large. Their wing dings are delicious and I must confess, I am not a fan of any kind of bone-in chicken but they got me hooked on the wing dings. Their subs are pretty good but their steak and cheese would be MUCH better if it was abit more juicier. Most places have dry steak and cheese so I normally add some sort of dressing like italian or greek. It's delicious, give it a try! NOTE: The place that does an awesome steak and cheese is Logan Airport's Quick mart, especially If Manny is the one making it. i also love the crispy sub rolls they use. Anyway, back to Pizza Etc. now that they have moved to a bigger place, I think they should expand their menu list to other foods they do not offer yet. We ordered 2 pies... they arrived within 20 minutes and we all housed them. Best drunk food in Brighton. Definitely the best pizza that I've had in Brighton. The prices are very reasonable and the flavor is good. Parking can be a little tough in the area but you can usually find something on one of the side streets. I picked up a large broccoli and mushroom pizza; the veggies were very fresh (no canned mushrooms like a lot of places use). I also got mozzarella sticks and spicy French fries which clearly came frozen but I wasn't expecting something from scratch at a no-frills place like this. I'm basing my review solely on the one item, a cheese calzone, that I have ordered 3 times over a 6 month period, all stupidly hoping it would be different from the last time. I'm pretty picky about my calzone, it needs to have ricotta cheese in it. So when eating it for some reason the calzone looks done on the outside but all three times I had chunks of uncooked cheese in my calzone. Ew, talk about a disappointment. Great delivery service. The woman on the phone in the evenings is very polite and helpful. Pizza is pretty good, not THE BEST but its pretty darn good. Penne w/Broccoli chicken and Alfredo was delightful. There was more than enough for one person, and the alfredo sauce was most likely made fresh. Boneless buffalo wings are good quality strips of chicken with just the right chicken:breading ratio. I'm a big fan. Its hard to find both quality and value in this city, but ALAS Pizza Etc. knows what they are doing. I took one star down because it seems a little complicated to drive to for pick-up from the Com. This place is stoner heaven. Expansive menu with super tasty, super unhealthy foods at bargain prices. You had me at hello. I don't eat pizza a lot, so I can't comment on theirs (don't think I've ever had it), but I had a calzone a few times. Pretty standard. What I did come back for time and time again are their subs and dinner plates. I hate it when diners don't use fresh ingredients. If you're making simple food, make it good. Pizza etc. does a good job keeping this in mind. Also, if memory serves me right, you can get a salad, fries (do yourself a favor and upgrade to spicy fries), and some entree-like item (gyro, chicken fingers, kebabs) for $10. What a steal, and it totally satisfies your undying hunger to the max. Food aside, the staff is awesome. Alright you got to love pizza etc. A very good, reliable, and convenient place. I'm not too much a fan of their pizza, but nonetheless not the worst pizza I've had. All the other variety and selections of food they have are great, and the portions given r amazing, perhaps even superfluous haha. Another great thing is they are open late in comparison to other places in the area I would definitely definitely suggest this place to anyone. Also you got to try the super beef. Unique, fulfilling, and Fricken great. Throw on almost anything u want with ur beef and you got a great sandwich. However stay away from their onion rings, they give a huge portion, but you mid is well be eating straight onions, all of the outter layer of what makes an onion ring an onion ring falls off.
