First pizza I've tried since my rest of year pizza hiatus and it was quite delectable! The place is part of a cluster of other Restaurants and cafes so it's more of a to go place with the pizzas being similar to the size of a blaze personal. I tried the Regina (pesto, burrata, and open face sauce but I added spicy pep) and Diavolina (spicy pep) which I would highly recommend! Additional toppings are extra so I feel like this is more of a place that's better to get the preset pizza combos! I also tried thin crust vs thick and would recommend thick but again it is an additional cost of $3 :/ which imo should not cost extra. Overall, it tastes very fresh and authentic but is very expensive.

Besides a few serious pizzaolos, there's a dearth of good (not fancy, sit down, expensive) pizza on the westside. In this gap, Pizza Fling is a welcome new addition that has earned its place. I saw their IG post and the host recommended a couple options. I was sold on the Regina. Making really good pizza isn't rocket science, but despite the simplicity, it boils down to high quality ingredients (flour, tomato, cheese) and techniques (fermentation, proofing, rolling, baking) that make a good pizza great. Pizza fling imports all their ingredients from Italy, think San Marzano tomato, or Italian 00 flour. Also, when you make really thin crust pizza, you cannot hide behind the dough. Your dough needs to be a perfect bake, while shining a spotlight on the caramelized ingredients. You want the mouthfeel and a slight char, without burning the cheese. The Regina (meaning Queen) is indeed worthy of pizza royalty, with Tomato Sauce, San Marzano Cherry Tomato Confit, Oregano, Stracciatella, Basil. This is a heavenly bite. Crispy dough, with the sweet sourness of the san Marzano tomato confit that puts the word umami to shame, balancing the acidity with the Stracciatella (mozzarella with cream) and the herbiness of some generous basil to cut through the umami. This pizza was a masterpiece, and it tasted even better the next day. The host recommended (re)baking it at a lower temperature (300) considering the creamy cheese for 2-3 minutes. I'm not sure I care as much about the pink boxes and branding, which goes into recycle within minutes, but it shows they truly care about the experience. Overall, a top 3 pizza experience on the westside that won't break the bank or disappoint. Welcome Pizza Fling, I think our relationship will be more than a fling.

This is a solid pizza spot that just opened on Berkeley St! The pizza is really good, seems very fresh compared to some other spots. As I live in the neighborhood, I always like to check out new spots and this is a great addition! The folks there are truly Italian and are so friendly, they include all of the dressings (chili oil, parm, red pepper) and the vibe is great. It's inside a small new construction strip mall and you'd think there would be a longer wait, but it was quick! Price is on the higher end but they typically have deals through 3rd party apps like Uber Eats.

I'm always looking for pizza spots in LA, and glad to find Pizza Fling on a spontaneous day. I loved the Regina pizza with stracciatella cheese. I got the thick crust, which was perfect, crisp yet chewy and tomatoes were fresh with the cheese and basil. Staff were also friendly and gave some spicy oil to add on. Parking was easy behind the food hall. Can't wait to come back for the Regina and try other pizzas too!

Pizza Fling!!! Got the Thick-crust Roman style and it hits different. Crunch on the outside. Pillow-soft inside. Zero grease bomb. Zero gimmicks. That crust? Impeccable. Perfect fermentation, clean bite, holds toppings without folding like a sad slice. You can taste the patience no freezer dough, no corner-cutting, no "artisanal" BS excuses. This is the kind of pizza where you stop talking mid-bite like, "EFf yeah... this is serious." Hands down: Best thick-crust / Roman-style pizza I've had. If you know, you know. If you don't --go fix that.

It's good, solid ingredients, but not filling at all. It's a perfect spot to top off after a fancy dinner.

They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

The menu is inviting with plenty of great options without being overwhelming. Less is more. But let's talk art (culinary, that is). The dishes certainly deserve main features. To start "the best Caesar salad in LA" and I quote which was certainly true. Grilled octopus charred on the inside and juicy at the center. Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

Of the things we ordered, I really loved the farro salad ($22?) best. Refreshing pomegranate seeds are mixed with the farro and give the salad an added crunch. The farro sits on a bed of dill infused crème fraiche. It is a deliciously refreshing salad and the perfect complement to any meal. For pastas, the sweet corn agnolotti ($28) was so light and fun. The little pockets of agnolotti is stuffed with corn and swims in a savory broth anchored by crème fraiche. It's giving summer and I'm absolutely here for it. Cento's dining space is quaint, so make sure to make a resy.

I kept making eye contact with the host booth and they'd look away and they finally they said - "has no one helped you?" And I confirmed. We had a server come and they apologized, took our order and relayed that our server is on his break. We realized happy hour was ending and ordered more when the drinks were dropped off. To get extra condiments, I needed to flag someone after trying to get their attention. Although the food came quickly, no one checked on us the entire visit. We asked the gentleman clearing our plates to bring us the check and we paid on our phone and left. Hearing the server at the table next to us, they asked about allergies, were checking in on how things are going every step of the way, offering dessert and providing way more than the very basic service that we needed to request. I'm honestly shocked that we had this very poor service experience. As for food and drink, the Aperol spritz and cocktail flight was solid. Fries were really great. The vodka rigatoni had a nice kick to it and caesar salad and meatballs were really tasty. As you can see, food was great, and I highly recommend their happy hour. However, the service was just so poor and based on this experience, I'm not too sure that I'd ever dine at Ospi again!
