I've ordered online before from this location, recently. And last time they did not call my house or attempt to talk to me on the phone. The delivery guy showed up, i showed my card and ID and maybe i signed the receipt i think. But the procedure didnt involve me talking on the phone at all. Correct me if I'm wrong but part of ordering online is not having to talk on the phone, if youre going to call me to verify my order, then why wouldnt i just call you in the first place? I mean correct me if i'm crazy, but it just seems a bit ridiculous to me. So if pizza huts procedure with online orders has changed between the last time i ordered online and this time then forgive me, but I was had no idea, and frankly telemarketers call my house all day. No one in my house really uses the house phone very often. and the only calls are typically telemarketers or automated messages. When pizza hut called my house, it said california call, which is just generic. when most businesses or things like that call, my caller id says what it is. Maybe it wouldnt hurt you guys to go out of your way to change your caller ID to actually say pizza hut so people know whos calling? But my complaint really has nothing to do with any of that. I dont think i'd be motivated to come onto yelp, except when I called back (after realizing the number that had called was pizza hut) I received pretty much the worst customer service i've ever witnessed. I work in the food industry, I work at a restaurant. I give good customer service every day to every customer no matter what the situation or how complicated it might be. but apparently missing a phone call that I didnt know I was going to receive, deems it justifiable for the manager to be incredibly and rude and obnoxious for absolutely no reason. The way i was talked to on the phone said very clearly to me "I do not want customers money, I do not want to deliver food, I do not want to build a local customer base". Last time the pizza was late and it wasnt very good. but it was pizza, and im a patient man, so Im not going to complain. but if your manager can't even handle basic customer service, i dont see how you can expect to run a business. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get some pizza around the area look elsewhere. round table is always good, mountain mikes is excellent, Never experienced any bad customer service with mountain mikes and have been going there for years now. hell, for the price, id recommend little caesars over pizza hut anyday. However, I have tried the $10 pizza twice in the last two weeks, and have been VERY impressed both times with on time pickup and quality of the pizza. I have been a LOYAL customer to this place for the past 3 years, ordering dinner for my family once a week(pizza night). Everything has been OK until this evening, when I ordered at 6:05, but still hadn't received my pizza dinner for my family over an hour and a half later. I called, and was told since they were out of the chocolate chip cookie, they just didn't make my order. I was also told that someone called and left me a voicemail, which is complete b.s. I asked twice to speak with a manager. When she got on the line, I asked her why no one called, she said they did...b.s. Like I said before. Ordered 2 pizzas, double breadsticks and half pasta! The order was delivered both pizzas looked identical when I ordered a pan and hand tossed. One topping missing breadsticks looked like one was fresh and one old with no seasoning on top. Called in to talk to the manager and he told me he know they were both right. I recently ordered pizzas from this branch for my son's 18th birthday. The worse experience ever. It took me several times to repeat my order and I thought the associate got it right. It turned out it to be still incorrect. He kept on saying thin crust while I wanted all stuff crust. Order arrived on time, but found out two of them where thin crust. I don't think thin and stuff crust are even sound remotely the same. I called and spoke to manager who actually turn out to be the owner. Instead of apologizing, he lectured me on how to order it next time. Seriously there will be no next time. So I complained on line to at least get an apology from corporate. Don't recommend it. They lie about how long it will take for your pizza to be done. I ordered mine over the phone , the girl said 20 minutes. I arrived 15 mins later and the girl said that they had a large order so my pizzas (3) where not made yet that it would be another 10 minutes. It was hotter than hell in there to wait so we went outside to wait but we went next door to another store where it was cool inside to wait. WOW. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I ordered two pizzas online to pick up in the store. I showed up 25 minutes after they were supposed to be ready for pickup. The cashier who later told someone else she was the manager ignored me while I stood there for 20 minutes while she was putting around. Then AFTER I paid for the pizzas finally the manager told me they don't have the crust that I had paid for and they have no pizzas ready to give me. They never called me to tell me, just waited till I drove all the way there and after I waited to be acknowledged and had paid. they called me after i ordered online and told me that they didn't have any Pan pizza's left and asked if it was ok. I said sure. I waited 45 minutes for my order and realized that instead of my wild wings, they delivered boneless. I really wanted my wings so i called and told the guy they delivered the wrong order. The guy tells me that they ran out of wings and that they tried to call me. I told him that the last conversation we had, he said there was no pan pizza, there was no mention of having no more wings. Its Mother's Day, I'm feeling like movies and pizza with my little one. I called this pizza place. A guy by the name of Jose answers the phone. Speaking very fast broken English. I ask for the specials. He quote me two that do not suit me. I tell him I will check the website and call back. I call back and tell him I am ready to order. He asks for my call back number. I give it to him, he tells me he's going to call it back and if I do not answer, he is not going to place the order. He repeats the number really fast, its the incorrect, and then he hangs up. Mind you, I have not even had the chance to place my order. I called him back immediately, and questioned his customer service. He says that I gave him the wrong the wrong, and that he called it. He flat out lied to me, because my cell phone is sitting beside me and never rang, plus there wasn't enough allowed time for him to do so because of how fast I called him back. I've been ordering from Pizza Hut for years, and they have never had a system like that. I understand he may noticed a different number on his caller ID, but I gave him the number in which I wanted him to find my information for my pizza information. To start, the woman (young by the sound of it) on the phone kept putting me on hold as if she was holding 2 conversations at the same time. So I decided to order online around 10 and I got a confirmation email and everything then now it's 11 and were calling the store and their numbers were saying they're closed. I called the store to make sure this was not the case and was assured my pizza would be delivered in half the time stated. Apparently they had an issue with drivers at the time the system took the order. I then get a call 2 hrs later from thr mgr stating that the driver felt uncomfortable delivering my pizza because my gate was closed with chains. We ordered delivery from this place and they said it will be 65 minutes on a thurs night that's a long time to wait. But we waited and waited after 65 minutes I went to check my phone and the delivery guy had called 5 minutes earlier (my phone was on silent that was my bad). So I called him back he said he was trying to deliver the pizza but the gate was closed and he wanted me to open it but that he had gone back to the store and if we still wanted the pizza we Had to wait for the next delivery to go out. First of all I have lived in these apartments for a year and a half and neither of the 2 gate have ever been closed. Fuck that place and the damn app. Ok so I downloaded the app for Pizza Hut due to my awkward social skills(especially while speaking on the phone) and I was making my order for delivery. I made the order and then I thought, "Wait a minute I don't need this much pizza." So I decided to cancel it, or at least I thought I cancelled it. Instead I made 2 different freaking orders! So what else can I do but call the place and tell them about the mix up and cancel one of my orders? Mind you, this is only mere seconds after I've realized my mistake.
