SO bad. We've given PH three tries in the past 12 months because the kids want to order it for sleepovers...we've tried ordering both online and calling in for carry-out. Disorganized, dirty, staff is overwhelmed, erratic, rude, unprofessional, and untrained. Just like the previous visits, I walked in to an almost empty restuarant to pick up my order (the website said it would be ready for pickup in 13 minutes) and alas, there were already 2 other disgruntled customers who had been kept waiting long after their designated pickup time and a few booths of annoyed dine-in customers waiting on food or checks. There were two young employees (high-school aged boys) there tonight who clearly cared about the missing items from my order (an entire large pizza!) and the extra 30 minute wait the incorrect order required, but the rest of the staff, ordering process & restaurant could use a do-over. read more

Ordinarily I wouldn't bother to review a chain restaurant, but this one fails on so many levels. We have tried this Pizza Hut many time since they opened, and we have always been disappointed. The staff is indifferent, the food is so so, and the tables haven't been cleaned. More than once, we have gone to the buffet there, and it is always the same: all the empty tables are still covered with dirty dishes, it takes forever for he staff to acknowledge you, and take a drink order, and there there is the food. Cold, unappealing, and fairly naked looking pizza - not much in the way of toppings. We have also tried getting takeout there, and that also fails...a thin pizza should not be so overcooked as to be a cracker with a tiny piece of dried-out sausage on it. I have repeatedly complained to the company, and all they do is offer to buy me a free meal, but free drek is still drek. The thing is, there are other Pizza Huts in the area that shine, such as the one on Pat Booker in San Antonio. The Boerne store should have a field trip to Universal City to see what a Pizza Hut is supposed to be. read more

HORRERRRRLE service!!! I was not allowed to order a pizza with toppings they have and even promised to PAY EXTRA for what I was hoping to get!! They said not allowed and extra cheese was an issue as well?!?! I asked for names and all calls go to a call center so not even someone who cares about their business- if it's a franchise then they are screwing their franchise owners and should sell ASAP!! Just called my local Pizza Hut in Borene and was redirected to a call center possibly out of the county. Placed my order and got a call back within 2 minutes saying they don't deliver to my area in Herff Ranch. Where they have delivered before. I have tried calling to get somebody in Borene but it is not possible I am redirected back to the call center every time. Fix this now this is unacceptable. read more

My girlfriend and I ate there a while ago and wanted a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Waiter talked us into a supreme that he said had both meats and cost $10. We ordered and when the pizza arrived we started eating and realized that there was zero meat on the thing. Just some green peppers, onions, mushrooms. We waited for 10 minutes at the cash register and no one helped us. When we finally were helped the service was rude. The food we got was super bad and I mean REALLY bad! One of the employees was actually being really friendly and it was the first good thing that happened all night. When the kind employee motioned me to the back to talk I gladly accepted and we were talking. When an employee aggressively approached and yelled at me "you can't be back here!" "You can't be back here" I was like well he called me back here and the guy said "stop messing with him!" I was honestly really confused and disgruntled. This location has gotten better, in my opinion. The only issue I have with this location is that one of the male managers is a rude person. His customer service skills are lacking. I have seen him argue with a customer about putting a new pizza on the buffet when they still had an hour left of buffet time. Hands down worst Pizza Hut ever ! Visited Monday at 1:10 pm. Only two tables were eating. Six tables full of dirty dishes. Buffet had not been restocked in awhile. Salad dressing was empty. Just a few pieces of older pizza. Pasta empty except for a few dry old pieces stuck to the side. Employees move at jokingly slow speed. Manager sat at booth looking at her phone looking up only to ask one employee "you know which tables to clean, right?" Rhetorical question since most tables had dirty dishes and unclean. read more

This Pizza Hut is a joke. The service has always been slow, but I'm done with this place based on our last experience. We placed a carry-out order online and when we went to pick it up the cashier told us the total was $20 more than the online order confirmation reflected. Apparently their system was charging us full price for everything instead of including the online deals we'd selected. When WE pointed out what happened to the cashier, he rolled his eyes and said he'd just take $20 off of our order because he honestly didn't care anymore. Real professional. Continued....I now see Vicky telling yet another customer in line they are looking for their pizzas. I contemplate the situation. I tell Sandy I would like a refund and don't want the order. I want out of this mess. Oh boy. This was not something she was expecting or prepared for. Blank stare. Silence. Awkward. I ask again. She slowly walks to the register like it might explode, still looking for the national guard over her shoulder. She pokes, grunts, brows furrowed, and disappears to the back with no explanation. We sit back down. Poor Dennis is still running back and forth to the back, slamming the wormhole oven devices, pulling tickets out, putting them back. Wash, rinse, repeat. Vicky storms out of the back with Sandy in tow and yells " who is calling the police?" And looks at me. I look around at the 15 would be patrons (I almost wanted to stick around after I'm done to see the fate of these poor souls). I tell her "what did you say? What are you talking about? I just asked for a refund on our order". This pleased Vicky as its one less order to make/find and goes to the register with Sandy. She proceeds to belittle Sandy in front of everyone by saying "this is just not that hard, see, this is all you have to do. This man is being patient, no reason to get upset". Stuff like that. Vicky punches the computer with frustration and is dripping with the most insincere sounding comments to me regarding our patience. Wow. We get our refunds processed and leave. Out the door my bother warns another would be patron about the situation and they tell us "great, sounds like last time we were here". We go to dominos to satisfy our need for pizza and all is well. I will mention here my last visit where it ordered two medium pizzas any toppings for $6.98 each. I was charged $8.98 for one and the employee can't grasp the math of the situation and yet defends the pice. I just pay and leave. Long winded but there is all is. Bizarre. I recently saw a very good special that Pizza Hut was running, medium pan pizza, bread sticks and cinnamon sticks for $10. I placed an order for delivery and it arrived very quickly. The bread sticks and marinara dipping sauce were good. The cinnamon sticks and icing were okay. Both types of sticks are only good while hot and fresh, reheating them isn't an option. The pizza wasn't very good at all. They were generous with the toppings. There was way too much pizza sauce and it was bland. The crust was horrible, it's consistency was that of a stale breakfast biscuits, very dry and crumbly. I reheated a piece the next day and the crust was inedible. This is the first time that I have had Pizza Hut in at least 15 years, so I'm not sure if they use the crust on all of their pizzas now or just the pan pizza. Hopefully it is only used in their pan pizza, but I don't plan on finding out. I won't be ordering from Pizza Hut anytime in the near future, unless they bring back The Edge pizza, now that was a great pizza! read more

SO MUCH BETTER! I recently (begrudgingly) tried this location again, and I was impressed! The buffet had fresh pizza on it, the salad bar was clean and the veggies weren't sitting in standing water, and the service was impeccable. The waitstaff was kind and attentive. Recently visited this Pizza Hut-Boerne, TX and was shocked at the lack of customer service by the manager. A mistake was made and when I questioned the manager about the solution, she began yelling at me and telling me to leave and never come back. We usually order pizza at least once a week and have never been treated like this. No apology was given and was told it was my problem. My credit card was run twice and I was told that was the risk of paying with a credit card. POOR management skills does not touch the lack of obvious education and customer service skills this person lacks. Not sure how this person became a manager but it certainly explains the high turn-over rate at this particular pizza hut. She ended up shoving the pizza across the counter and told me to leave. read more
