This Pizza Hut is one of our favorite restaurants in Fredericksburg. We can not make the trip without visiting this Pizza Hut. It still has much of the original vibe. They have strayed some and need to find their way back completely. The personal pan pizza was not in a pan and was not a pan pizza in my opinion but more of just a thick crust. No pan is not a pan pizza. The thin crust is on point and drinks came in a red plastic cup. No space invaders or pack man, bummer. The waitress/cook was wonderful. read more

Pizza Hut used to be really good but this location is discouraging. Thin and crispy crust, but where are the toppings? I was shocked by the lack of cheese and toppings, the pizzas felt virtually unfinished. They charged extra for condiments which are normally included. read more

When are food had arrived they made our pizzas both to thin crust while we ordered one pan and thin crust. That's not the only problem, we had ordered two veggies but they also put meat in there. So as usual because of their policy they remade it but they mistakenly made more pizzas even though they knew we couldn't eat that much. Describing my 4 experiences with this Pizza Hut in this review. My first time writing a review for a food place, don't usually bother to but after my last experience here I felt I had to. I ordered delivery yesterday, at around 8, estimated delivery time said 25-30 minutes. I live 3 minutes away from Pizza Hut. I try being patient when my food doesn't arrive by then, after 50 minutes I decide to call and ask for a status on my order. An employee picks up, and informs me that the order's been ready, that they're just waiting for a door dashed to go by and pick up my order. This was a huge disappointment for me to hear, as I order directly from restaurants to avoid ordering from food delivery services, I expect a Pizza Hut delivery driver to deliver my order. This is the second time I've had this experience with this Pizza Hut, and I've never had it anywhere else. Finally, my order arrives after over an hour and ten minutes. Ordered contactless delivery, driver knocks on the door...okay. The food was cold, and was overall far from what I expected as I paid for my food. I expected fresh, hot pizza and that's not what I got. Our appetite got ruined and ended up not eating the food, we don't like heating it up because it just changes the flavor and texture. This was the worst delivery experience I have ever had, not only with Pizza Hut but any food place. I've had nothing but bad experiences with this particular Pizza Hut. The first time, a few months ago, I ordered delivery and got a call from the Pizza Hut driver, asking about my apartment because she couldn't find it. I had just moved in to Fredericksburg the day before, and was trying to explain to her that I do not know the apartments very well, also I'm 18 so I was just struggling. From the start of the call, she sounds frustrated, her number begun with the area code from where I just moved out of, worried I might've ordered from my then Pizza Hut I ask what Pizza Hut this is, and if she's in (blank) apartments, she sounds very frustrated and annoyed, probably thinking it as a prank, I explain I just moved in and that I do not know the place well yet, she says that she's driving around and theres not a building #1. Well lady, there was and you just kept driving past it. So back to on the phone with her, I go outside and tell her I'll be waiting by the apartments entrance, wearing a bright pink shirt, a car drives past me, she goes all the way to a dead end around the corner, backs up to the entrance and I guess finally sees me, hands me my food rather aggressively. I still tipped, as I had the money already in my hands, and I regret it. My second experience with this place, a week or two ago, I ordered just a regular, hand tossed cheese stuffed crust pizza. We were already out so went by to pick up the pizza. The staff were like rude teenagers, honked repeatedly at me and my boyfriend as we were leaving the parking lot (It was closing time, picked up our order 5 minutes before they closed) for absolutely no reason, one of them was outside the car, the other inside and they were talking. My boyfriend and I were confused as to why they did that. The next and biggest disappointment, the pizza was SUPER. THIN. I did not order the thin and crispy pizza, just a regular one. My boyfriend noticed too and asked if I accidentally ordered the thin one, I told him nope, literally looked as if they took a small pizza and stretched it to be "large ". I literally paid about 15 dollars just for the crust. If this normal pizza was this thin, the thin and crispy option would've been non existent. I was definitely not satisfied with my paper-thin-falling-apart-pizza. I remember back in the day the Pizza Hut dough was so thick and fluffy, whenever I thought of Pizza Hut this is what always came to mind, but this was nothing like that. 3rd experience, not bad, delivered within estimated time, only downside was that they used door dash. 4th experience was the absolute worst, at the very top of this review. If I don't get a refund or any form of compensation for this experience, there definitely won't be a next one. read more

Ordered pizza and salad. The pizza was hot and fresh and delicious. The salad however was just a bowl of lettuce. The description online says it comes with cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, carrots, and croutons. Don't order one you will be very disappointed! But I will say the delivery guy was very nice! read more

I remember when The Hut was always good and their buffet days were packed. No such luck here. 3 employees working, no one at the counter on Monday this week. Finally, got a young male's attention and being a veteran of the Hut told him, I wanted a med. Thin crust pork sausage and I was parked outside, so I'd wait for it. At this point, the youth said, "Phone number?... I had to repeat twice, then name? Now what is it that you want?" (Really? You got nothing of what I said?) This should have been a clue to me! So I went through my order again SLOWLY... finally paid and no Thank You... no it will be 20 min. Nothing! After waiting for 20 min. I came back in, my pizza was taken from their warmer (no call, text etc. Since I had left my #) I checked to make sure it was indeed mine... looked inside and asked for a few packets of parm. cheese. "They're a $1.00 a piece." he said. I had to ask him 3 times... what? Unbelievable!!! No thank you, I responded when it finally hit me... that they wanted a dollar a piece! Really, with such poor service and lack luster pizza... (I threw away about half, later.) I know why certain chains are closing. Ordered pizzas online for a bachelorette party, they made a mistake with one of the pizzas. I called and let them know. The manager immediately called me back and apologized personally. He sent us our correct pizza plus a free cookie dessert. A frustrating mistake, when you're hungry with a group of girls on celebration weekend, was corrected so quickly that there wasn't time for the mistake to effect our evening. Took the wife out for a Valentines Day stuff crust pizza dinner and an hour fifteen minutes later we were storming out. 30 minutes after placing our order we were told our pizza was in the oven. 30 minutes later two families that came in after us were being served their pizzas and again we were promised our pizza was in the oven. 15 minutes later a stuff crust pizza arrives but not what we order and apparently belongs to the third family that came in after us. We think Pizza Hut here has the best pizza of anyplace in town. The pizzas are always good and the service / delivery is always quick and pleasant. The drivers are all polite and well spoken. Our favorite is the hand-tossed crust but you can't go wrong with any of them. There are other pizza places to choose from here, and they aren't bad... Pizza Hut is just better. read more

The employees are always so polite! I call in and pick up here. Not frequently, but enough to remember that they are always courteous. I can't say anything about the cleanliness of the restaurant, as I have never dined in. The pizza is what it is, but in this small town and when you are eating on a budget, you can't expect too much.
