I didn't pay that much attention to it. With that being said, I will say that I do love McDonald's sausage muffins. I went to this McDonald's one morning when I was going out of town, to purchase the McDonald's muffin. I was shocked it was crispy brown like a toasted muffin. The McMuffin and the sausage was hot and the cheese was melted. In other words, it was the perfect muffin. I've been several times since then. Fast forward a few months later, and I had company in town and three of these people were young children. One of those guests was a precocious young lady, who demanded something different than her siblings. She wanted McDonald's then she complained that they won't get the order right at McDonald's. I informed her I thought they would because this was a very good McDonald's. Possibly one of the best McDonald's I have ever patronized. So with her special ordered McDonald's hamburger without onions. She was shocked that the order was correct. I had noted that every time I have gone their employees had all been bright very and very efficient, One of my odd orders has been to order a ice coffee with no liquid sugar or flavoring, I have never had an incorrect order at this McDonald's. I can't comment on the ambience as I have never been inside. I can only confirm every order and interactive with an employee at this location has been positive. So much so I was compelled to add this McDonald's to Yelp, they know how to do McDonald's food correctly, and with a smile. The management at this McDonald's is doing something right and I hope the owner knows their management team and employees are step above all other McDonald's in this area! If you have a picky child this is the McDonald's for you!

However, one employee single-handedly ruined the reputation of this establishment for me. My mother and I have frequented this place for about a year now. They've always had phenomenal customer service and food. However, yesterday when we pulled up to the drive-thru, we were immediately assaulted by the strongest weed scent that we have ever smelled off of one singular person before. In layman terms, the drive-thru worker stank. Badly. When my mother points out how overwhelming the aroma of weed is, instead of being apologetic, the drive-thru worker immediately gets defensive (as all junkies in denial do) and proceeds to call my mom and I quote a "f*ckin idiot". The worker also claimed that she had cancer and was using the herb for medicinal reasons. As paying customers, we have every right to a refund and yet this woman initially denied me one, claiming that they "didn't do" refunds. To make matters worse, she took my card to the back of the restaurant instead of returning it to me, which I did not appreciate at all, as I have no way of knowing whether she took a quick snapshot or not. Magically, she could suddenly do refunds when I threatened to call police. She also mentioned that she would make up some fabrication to the police and accuse us of trespassing when, in actuality, we were simply trying to order. As far as the cancer claim, due to her willingness to lie about not being able to give me a refund and about us "trespassing", I am not fully convinced that this woman is not just another pothead lying to justify her addiction. (They were light, hot and crispy!) I advised the lady at the window and she realized it was for the car behind me. Instead of taking the food back, she told me to keep it and they would prepare my order and a new order for the car behind me! THAT is what i call customer service! So many places would have taken the bag back and just gave it to the rightful owner. They would be too lazy to prepare a new order even though my hand had already been in the bag, the bag was already in my elements, and opening the path for cross contamination. Chips and salsa were served, the salsa was okay, again not bad, but not great. The tacos and chimichanga fall into that category, too, thus the three star rating. I have to comment that the prices on soft drinks and a side of queso must be pretty hefty as the bill was $30 for the two of us. The servings were not that large, either. Even the sides were great and tasted homemade. You can tell right away that the owners and staff genuinely care about what they do. Their pride in the food and the restaurant really shows in the quality of everything they serve.
