I love being able to order pizza by the slice for delivery! Why?! Because I love variety! Committing to one whole pizza by myself is always a lot since I get sick of flavors quickly. Luckily for me, Pizza Joint delivers slices! I ordered via Eat24 since I had a $2 off coupon code. *Slice of Cheese pizza ($3.50), add Grilled chicken (+$0.50), Mushrooms (+$0.50), Pesto (+$0.50), no red sauce One of my favorite slices. The pesto had great flavor. *Slice of Cheese pizza ($3.50), add Baby clams ($0.50), Fresh garlic ($0.50) This was good because of the garlic. The clams really are small, so you don't get the same texture and flavor as with normal sized clams. *Slice of Cheese pizza ($3.50), add Fresh basil ($0.50) Don't add basil. This was definitely a waste of $0.50. There was barely any basil on the slice. *Slice of Pepperoni pizza ($4), add Sausage ($0.50), Mushrooms ($0.50) I typically love meat pizzas with mushrooms. But this wasn't very good. The meats didn't have much flavor. The crust here is thick, so be prepared. I didn't care for the thickness since I prefer thinner crust pizzas. I threw away about 1/3 of the whole crust per slice because it was so bready! Delivery was quick, but I live two blocks down, so that was expected. There is a $20 minimum which is why I ended up with four slices instead of three. In the end, this satisfied my pizza craving, but I've had better. I may order from them again if I want slices and I don't want to wait. Or maybe I'll forgo the $20 min and walk my lazy butt there! read more

Came here for only the 2nd time and once again, service and food were great. Upon leaving, there was an older Asian man that walked in and yelled out one of the worker's name and said the garbage bins needed to be brought inside. As my fiancé and I were about to drive off, the elder gentleman seemed to be waiting and once the worker brought in the garage in, he left, without even a goodbye or thank you. I'm leaving this review because the elder came off as rude. Not sure if he was the owner but nonetheless, the professional thing to do was walk in, ask the workers how things are going and then politely ask to have the bins brought in. Ask a local and they will instantly refer you to Pizzetta 211, Gaspares, or Village pizza. Pizza joint can be added as a great casual or late night spot! Pizza joint is a marijuana enthusiasts paradise. Sandwiches, by the slice pizza, and a wall lined with candy. Who wants more? The quality of ingredients has gone down significantly. The cheese and dough is more like Little Ceasar's pizza but for about $18 more. They're VERY stingy with the toppings. Expect to see a few pieces of bacon when you add Bacon as a topping. They're a neighborhood spot so I keep going here but if I had not been living in the neighborhood, I would not go out of my way to eat this pizza. The quality is pretty bad. It's cool for a night-in and to stave-off being hungover the next day. The prices are great. Affordable considering prices for pizza in the city are still relatively high. read more

This review is for the cashier who took my order. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza & a green salad. My total came out to be $21. & some change. I gave the young lady $25. & she gave me my change back, was told the wait is 10 minutes. Came back in 10 minutes, waiting for me was 1 slice of pizza & the green salad. I asked where was my other slice, she said you ordered 1 slice of cheese pizza. I asked her to produce the receipt & she could not because I paid cash. Long story short, I had to wait an extremely long time for the slice of pizza. They end up giving me the slice of pizza with an extra slice but it wasn't even worth the hassle I went through. I originally had liked this place, pizza was good, crust especially but after this experience, I'm cool off them. Though it's not exactly the BEST pizza I've ever eaten, it's still pretty damn well made. The additional brushing of olive oil after it comes out of the oven shows great care. The combination pizza comes super close to beating Costco's pizza. The only recommendation I would make is just bigger pieces of pineapple and smaller slices of ham. They really put a lot of toppings on the supreme pizza (the sausage was a bit too big for my taste but it was yummy) and chicken pesto. I'm more of a chicken pizza fan so I really liked that one.
