This is by far some of the best pizza I have ever found here in town. So glad to finally find great pizza in Austin! Ordered the pastrami pizza and the creamy garlic chicken and both amazing!! The crust was crispy and delicious. Sauce and topping combinations are perfect! The secret bbq pizza was really tasty! The medium size is big enough to split between two people. I ordered through Uber eats and the pizza was still warm by the time it came to my house. Ranch is an extra charge but you get a big portion, taste like Kraft ranch. read more

I found this place by searching "pizza near me" and I was hesitant to go since pizza truck is not in the best area. But it's truly one of the BEST pizzas I have ever had in my life. After reading all the glowing reviews I expected to be blown away. I ordered through Uber Eats and got a Large pepperoni. It was around $32 including fees and tip which, while pricey, I'd be willing to pay for exceptional quality. The menu doesn't mention how big a large is but I assumed at the price point it'd be at least 16". What showed up was a 14" pizza with doughy bland crust and a skimpy amount of sauce and cheese. The taste was underwhelming and I was shocked that this place gets such good reviews. I know Austin doesn't have the highest standards for pizza but as as someone who grew up in the northeast I can say that this ain't it. read more

A friend recommended Pizza Leon to my gf and I. Super bummed! It literally tasted like they threw some cheap frozen pies in the oven. I picked this place because of the 60+, 5 star reviews. I am trusting others reviews to try new places and WHAT A LET DOWN! Not sure why there is so many? Just wanted to give an honest review. I am a pizza snob and have tried many. Unless you eat the pizza in your car. It gets cold fast and not good when cold. I have had their calzone, combo and pepperoni pizza. Nothing special (at all). Was not bad. But not worth coming back. I can pay same price point for better pizza elsewhere. I would only recommend the calzone. read more

Ordered online gave my credit card info and was then told Door Dash would deliver. Received notification that it had been delivered- but it wasn't. An hour and a half later, and 5 phone calls to Pizza Leon and they obviously don't care. They did nothing to address the issue. Pizza Leon blames Door Dash. Door Dash doesn't care and I don't get to eat my $32 overpriced pizza because Mary from Door Dash is probably eating it. You suck Pizza Leon. I wish I could give you zero stars. You know how when you open the pizza box and you can just tell, its going to be a great pizza? That has been the same experience every time I go back. This food truck was the absolute best pizza I have ever had in my life. I had the margherita and the special barbecue chicken pizza and I would have to give it five out of five stars all the way around. The only exception is that there should be more advertising outside of the food truck. We are visiting from New Mexico and needed a good pizza place to feed our family for dinner. We had been swimming all day and they were starving! We wanted some thing local and decided on here. Best Pizza in Austin, yup, I said it. Very nice owners, I've been ordering since they first opened and had no reviews- I've probably ordered 50x from them already in the last 6 months. They customize my order no problem and always give me updates up until the pizza arrives. They know my order by heart because we order from them so often and they're always polite and accommodating when it comes to ordering. They're prices are fair compared to a lot of the other pizza places in Austin and the ingredients are fresh. The only complaint I have is that they started adding too much oregano to the sauce for my taste but it's still really good & even though I order the same thing every time, the totals are different sometimes. BEST PIZZA we've found thus far for that sports pizza type, good cheesy, medium crust, comforting pizza you order for watching a movie on the couch kinda night! read more
