The pizza here is overall pretty solid, but I would've liked an extra flavor kick to the slices I tried. Online ordering that allows you to order either by the pie or by the slice makes it easy to come with groups large or small, or just by yourself. The outdoor patio is spacious and a great vibe on sunny days. The prices are reasonable, averaging $5-6 per slice. Came on a Sunday during lunchtime in winter so there was plenty of seating. It's a covered patio with heaters or you can sit "inside"' in their bar area. At the time we visited it was a seat yourself and order off QR code situation. So really the only interaction we had with staff was when they dropped off our drinks and food. We started with the buffalo cauliflower which was amazing! Highly recommend. For pizza we opted for the Borgata. Can't go wrong with whipped ricotta on a pizza! Anyway, it is a Pizza Place I frequent and I usually go to the S*it for Brains trivia on the first Tuesday of every month, which was when I popped in last! This place has a large patio area that features a great fire pit in the center. Most of the seating is outdoor, which makes for a perfect spring-fall location! The service is always fairly quick and friendly. The fried mozz with fried cherry peppers has to be one of my go to orders! I grabbed Pizza Lobo for take out and was really happy with how it went! It was easy to place the order online and have my roommate pick it up. We ordered the Borgata, which is one of my favorites. The creamy ricotta on top with the crunchy pepperoni is an amazing combo and even after walking it home in the box, the crust maintained a good crisp. I would just say that there should be more hot honey. That's one of my favorite parts of the flavor profile and there is never enough of it. The other pizza we got was a plain 16" with cheese and vodka sauce and cremini mushrooms. We added on some hot honey at home and it was another solid pizza. The crust on this one was perfect for me--so crisp! We also got the fried mozzarella and that was fine, but I wouldn't recommend it as an appetizer. There were four of us eating and we had several slices left over, so it was more than enough food. I love pizza lobo's pizzas and it's good to know they offer great take out! read more

INCREDIBLE pizza. Came here with some local friends on their recommendation and was very impressed. They have some interesting pizzas, and you can get slices of basically all of them. Unfortunately, one I have wanted to try could not be ordered as a slice but the one I did try (borgata) was so good. Highly recommend any pizza with hot honey on it. We also tried the cauliflower appetizer, which had Calabrian chili oil and hot honey on it. VERY GOOD. They have a nice, enclosed patio that is very dog friendly, even in the winter! We brought our dog and saw many others there. Wish we could have stayed for the drag show but we had plans. There also seems to be bar trivia, which I always enjoy. Aside from this, I didn't see much of a reason to venture out of the way to come to this restaurant. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza- it was pretty mediocre and reminded me of $1 pizza dive bars sometimes sell. I did enjoy their ordering system online; it made it easy to split a bill across a large group. They did have a good variety of beers on tap which may add to the appeal if you are a beer drinker. Both bathrooms are multi-stalled "all gender" facilities; so plan ahead if you / your family prefer to maintain some separation in that regard. For better or worse, Chicago has many pizza spots and I didn't think that Pizza Lobo's cuisine holds up to the competition. read more

We came on a Saturday evening and it was pretty full with a few tables available outside in their patio. The staff here was great, but you place your order on your phone by scanning the QR code. You also get your own napkins and water. We placed an order of their Buffalo wings and their Borgata pizza. Their house Buffalo wing sauce was amazing. Not too spicy, just the perfect amount of heat made for a very flavorful bite. The wings themselves were cooked perfectly. The Borgata pizza was just as delicious. The had a great charred and crispy crust, and it came with red sauce, shredded mozzarella ,pepperoni, ricotta cheese, Calabrian chili honey, and basil. Everything is self serve which makes payment easy. I went to the location in Logan square and they had a heated outdoor patio. There's a lot of space with lots of seating. The pizza itself was very tasty. I got the Miami vice that comes with a 99 cent cheese slice along with the burrata/pepperoni slice. That was delicious - I didn't really have the cheese slice.
