I found Pizza Pie Eatery next door in Woodland Hills. I ordered the giant slice of pepperoni and a small Cesar salad. Salad was fresh and the pizza was really good. Thin crust, perfect amount of cheese,(not too much) and made quickly. Atmosphere is pleasant with classic rock hits playing in the background. The manager threw me a complementary bag of chips while I was waiting. I thought that was pretty cool. Staff was friendly. Good experience. When I first moved into Glendale I ordered a pizza from here, that was 5 years ago. Today I have been noticing that the pizza is sub-par and when did the medium pizzas become small? I order large and I feel like I'm getting medium. Also, the taste and quality of the sub has dropped. Did they change owners, or managers? are they starting to get cheaper ingredients. They use to be the best and while yes the food is good. The customer service is horrible. We have placed many orders weekly with them. Orders that go over 100$ of dollars. We usually use a coupon that we print out from the site, never have an issue now all a sudden it's an issue. We place our order like usual and then after we place the order using the coupons the total is over $100. The lady tells us it can't be the print out, it has to be the flyer. Ok, should of said something from the beginning but fine. So we bring in a flyer we have that was mailed to us and nope that's not the right one and a huge ordeal. I give Pizza Pie Eatery one star reluctantly because the food is really quite good. I regularly ordered the gluten-free crust pizza -- my husband even prefers it to traditional crust, which is saying something 'cuz he loves his wheat. Accurate estimated delivery time, etc. So why only one star? I tried the soy "cheese" one night because I am sensitive to dairy and usually eat alternatives. It was fermented/spoiled/off. I only ate one slice, yet it still made me ill. I called the next day, spoke with Abel, one of the managers, and told him what happened. I asked for a credit for the price of the pizza and he said he would take care of it. The next time I ordered, I got the runaround, and after they called Abel, I was told they would take 15% off my order. After tiring of asking them to keep their word, I cancelled my order and will no longer give them my business. read more

Terrible management. If they get your order right 1 out of 5 times you are lucky. If you only have to wait 15 minutes after the pickup time they give you, you are lucky. It's true that one bad experience makes you throw out all the good ones. We have ordered from here many, many times. This time I decided to use the $5 yelp offer. I placed the order over the phone and the guy said to bring in the coupon. Sure, that made sense. I get in to pick up the order and the man working there makes a big deal and says I don't know what that it and I need to bring in the paper. What paper? It's yelp, you approve the coupon. He lost a customer over $5. People don't know how to run a business. I hope the owner is ok with losing customers over $5. Very sad. Oh and on top of that, they messed up my order. I came here a lot when I attended Hoover HS since it was the go-to spot to hang out with friends after school and school events. I remember the very first time I tried their NY slice pizza. Mmmmm...that was amazing. Since then, I have ordered that same combo deal many times ($3.99 for NY slice and a drink). However, it seems like they have been brushing over their work for the past two years. Before, the pizza would be very nicely done -- not too thin and not too thick (although I do like thick crusts so my "too thick" may be different from the next person's). The past three times that I have gone, the pizza is waaayyy too thin -- cardboard-like with hastily made sauce that seems like was taken straight from a tomato paste jar, and cheese that comes right off of the slice. It is too oily and I have to blot my pizza with napkins before I actually take a bite. And before you get mad, I know it's pizza. It's supposed to be gooey, greasy, oily goodness. The thing is, if it were an amazing pizza that was actually good, I would say that all the oil is worth it, but it's not. I really hope they get back to where they were. I have also ordered other things from the menu such as the Alfredo pasta, chicken tenders, and khachapourri. The Alfredo pasta very hot then suddenly became very cold. The sauce was not flavorful and turned kind of clumped when it got cold instead of staying kind-of creamy as it was in the beginning. The chicken tenders are good. The khachapourri are good too and they make sure to ask how well done you want the eggs to be. Again, I hope that they put little more time and care into making their food because I really do like them, having befriended some of their employees from my frequent visits and having made so many nice memories there, sharing food with friends. In the meantime, I will give them another go with something else on their menu that I haven't tried yet. read more

Hands down best pizza in town!! Wanted to try new place so we ordered at work for about 10 people. First of all, service was awesome and so helpful. Ulitmate fav specialty pizza was the mediterrean(cant express in words how good it was), Chicken Avocado Sandwich was really good, sausage topping and the side of wings(delicious). I've pretty much ate and ordered from every pizza place in town and hands down Pizza Pie has the best pizzas in town.
