Their pizza is great. Cheese bread and wings are delicious. And even their ranch is the bomb! The only issue I have with them lately, we order from this location three times a month, is that you won't always get the same pizza made the same way. For example, we only order the pepperoni deluxe pizza. Every time that's the only pizza we order. We get an XL and cheese bread and ranch. Well some times we get the real deal Double Pepperoni and Double Cheese like it's supposed to be made, and other times we get just a plain pepperoni pizza. I've never been that guy who opens up the box to check that it's made right because I always trust people to do their jobs but now seeing that the price difference is $6 between a regular pep and the pep deluxe, I'm for sure going to have to check everytime. This is my first time eating here and I ordered delivery during the weekday. My food came really fast. The delivery man was very friendly. Onto the food, I had the pepperoni pizza and Hawaiian style pizza. I loved both pizzas. The pizza was hot upon arrival. They included condiments. The pizza had flavor and was so good. It had lots of flavor. I will try this place again. So I'm new to the area and exploring the pizza places. This pizza place served pizza dough that was so crusty and melt in your mouth. Here's my Story/Review, I placed this order 5 days prior to the event. Work party today 10/31/24, at 12 noon 60ppl. Del. was set for 11:45. On This Very Busy Day! It was so busy PP's turn their phone off and only do online orders. So, when my delivery does not show up at 11:45, now not at 12:15...and no one calls me, they don't answer the phone, I have to drive down to their location and ask about the order...after 5 minutes of "we don't know"....it was found sitting on the shelf still. 19 pizzas, 240 wings, salad, etc...at a tune of 856.00 for a per paid order I placed 5 days prior. So, I proceeded to load up my order with no help from the very very busy staff. after finding missing items here and there my order was finally loaded up and on the way to the party. Now it is 12:39pm, for the employees/workers and visitors with an hour lunch and here for this scheduled event, this was an issue, the party started at 12pm; but with all of that we were still good, just a little upset that no one even called. Now it's time to set up everything- 1 hour late, but ok, right? No! Pizzas are cold, pizzas are not cut thru-so people needed to tear the slices to separate, we were missing 1XL pizza of the 19 pizzas, although cold, 2 were burnt....I was told they would try to label the pizzas to what they are, they didn't....so when you order 19 pizzas and get 18 it's a guessing game to what's in the box....They have great Pizza, great names of the pizzas, great toppings, but it's a mystery to what's in the box. I hope Manager Dustin reads this and corrects the issue, Lable the Specialty Pizzas, we know pepperoni, but the Bucco, SAY BUCCO.... Sure, it's a busy day, just prepare better, and if an order isn't going to be delivered on time or at all- CALL THE CUSTOMER, it's the least you can do. The staff did a great job besides all of that, at least the order was there and ready.... Somehow the party was a hit...Lifes too short to let something like this ruin it, so thanks to the Partygoer's, thanks to the Pizza Pirates staff for trying.....till next time, TRICK OR TREAT! So gross out I couldn't even stop him to get a refund. 12-5; 12:30 pm The only worker was very friendly but he took my order, touched the register and drawer and then without washing his hands or even gloving up he proceeded to grab all the items for my antipasto salad. I was watching and was so upset by this I walked out and sat in my car. I should've gone back in right then but I am really grossed out. I will return later to return because there is no way I'll put that in my mouth. Haven't been back for a while because of the hand washing issue but the manager assured me this was not normal to not wash hands when I watched a girl playing on her phone, touching her hair go to make my salad and not wash her hands. Couldn't go back to complain as they were closed. Receptionist overweight with long hair unhappy with his job was very rude. Probably the same one that hung up on me. Pizza was OK. The actual location is a little spot there are tables and chairs to sit and eat but it's small. We have ordered several times for delivery and about 85% of the time it's correct and good is hot but when it's bad it's BAD! Last time our pizza was crushed and all the toppings stuck to the top of the box, the wings were bloody and undercooked and it tasted like someone spilled a whole bottle of salt on them. The Manager Drew was nice enough to offer a credit but it makes you hesitant to order again. Depends on your delivery person. read more

Time came to go grab everyone's lunch so my home slice (pun intended) and I headed to the black pearl (as this is the mother ship of pizza joints). My stomach was growling like a pirate,"errr" as we were driving back with the treasure in hand, actually not in hand but in the back seat as the pizza wash fresh to death smoking hot! Smoking somebody stop me! (Mask voice) because ain't nothing stopping me to flying back to work to get down some hot triangles in my mouth, got back and did just that. The dudes working there were all hella chill (that's the pizza lingo if you didn't know) I didn't pay my home slice did but I should have been listening to make sure she gave them a good tip because they did a great job, the inside of the place smelt like you want to lick the walls when you walk in, the aroma slapped my nose crawled up it and then did a cannonball (another pun intended) into my stomach as like a little slap on it like wake up your about to get attacked in the best way possible and you wanna be ready and steady as you will get your socks rocked off, if your not fully ready and steady. Like today I was fully ready and steady and both my shoe laces didn't just come undone but completely pulled out of the shoes themselves, I looked down and they were gone, it took a little time but don't worry I found them, I was fully ready and steady so the socks were still on my feet but they just barely hanging on. I hope that gives you an idea how delic-e-oh-so this pizza was, the only thing i wish was different was that they had a location in Rancho so I could sit at home and enjoy this pie from the big guy ( pizza straight from god himself). Back to the rad dudes aka staff, I was watching them as they put in work which was art to me in how great this pizza was, I always am a very observant person so I noticed that they were calm, cool, collective, my kinda dudes, especially since I also noticed there was a row of paper orders hanging and rightfully so, that alone was a sign for great things were about to come, for a Monday mid day to be that busy is a statement by itself.
