Love this place! The food is always hot and fresh and the breadsticks are to die for!

I tried Pizza Pirates when I first moved to Ontario in 2017 because of Yelp and I love pizza. Pizza from Italy is the my gold standard for pizza, but I rate everything in California to the American Pizza standard. Pizza Pirates is some of the best pizza, especially fast/delivery pizza, I have had. I think it is the cheese. I order it anytime pizza is on the menu and it never fails. Also, everyone always asks what this amazing pizza is when I order it for others. Hope it stays this good. read more

My family owns a restaurant in Ontario and we were completing catering orders last night. We were hungry add wanted pizza. We stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did. This is some of the best pizza I've had in a very long time. I got jalapeño and pepperoni, my fav, and as I type this I'm eating the rest for breakfast. We will definitely be back. This review is more for the customer service I received. My company orders from this place quite often. The other day (12/27) I decided to order fresh pizza for my night crew, since day crew had pizza earlier in the day. I placed an order online around 6:35pm and received an estimated arrival time of 7:24-7:34pm. When the pizza didn't arrive at 7:37pm, I called the restaurant and finally spoke to someone after being hung up on 3 times. Daniel stated the delivery guy was out and it should be there in 10 mins. After informing him of the estimated time it supposed to come, he told me that they don't give estimated times and should have been there within 45mins-1hr. We went back and forth about this before I angrily hung up. When the delivery guy finally came around 8:10pm, I spoke with him about the estimated time and he told me the same thing Daniel argued with me about. He proceeded to tell me that they've been in business for 15 years and other pizza places do the same thing. I said no, if there is an estimated arrival time given, then that's what time the customer expects the pizza. No where on the website does it indicate a 45mins-1 hr arrival time...I checked. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the service and $50 spent on mediocre pizza. Next time I'll order at Pizza Hut, which is closer with much better customer service and faster delivery, more accurate delivery times. read more

My fiancé and I moved to Ontario recently and decided to try pizza pirates and loved it! We've gotten it a couple times now and it is always delicious! Also have tried their wings, cheese bread, and bread sticks. So far everything has been good and reasonably priced! Definitely recommend. read more

Ordered online and website froze. Was charged even though order didn't go through and was told by management that I would have to wait 3-5 days for the 65 dollars that was charged was returned. Used to be a weekly customer. Will never return again read more

Just moved here from Vegas & was looking for a great pizza spot. I ordered the XL half & half pizza & cinnamon sticks. Yummy frosting for dipping included. Soooo good overall. The only downfall is that they don't deliver to my area but it was worth the drive. I also forgot my mask so I called and they gladly brought the order to my car. I'm glad they moved into the neighborhood. Pizza Pirates' slogan, "maximum quality - minimum price" Is true. This place has one of the best pizzas, dollar for dollar, in the area. Before this location opened, I frequented the one on Mountain Ave and Philadelphia, 2 miles west of here. Also excellent, but this place has perhaps slightly outdone them. Pizza Pirates seems to have an almost infinite variety of specialty pizzas on the menu I haven't gotten around to trying yet. They sound very interesting. I'd like to try more of them in the future. My tip is to try requesting your pizza "well-done" or "extra crispy ". My wife and I both love the way it comes out even better. read more

We also always add wings to our order which is a nice addition to just pizza. There Delivery team is always very professional and courteous and sets up the Pizza wherever you want it. This place currently has dine in, delivery, and takeout. Staff was great. Super friendly and helpful (because I'm very indecisive lol). They have a nice variety of sauces, toppings, and cheeses to choose from and a variety of sides as well. I ended up getting a fan favorite for takeout-- sausage and pepperoni pizza. Food was ready in about 10 min which was great but it wasn't my favorite pizza. Tasted similar to 7-eleven so I probably won't eat it again. read more

As a somewhat pizza snob who prefers my homemade pizza to 99% of the pizza places out there, I was pleasantly surprised. It's now one of only 2 places I would consider when I don't feel like baking myself. The whole milk cheese has the perfect stretch, clearly not processed or overly gooey. The sauce was well seasoned without detracting from the flavors of the other ingredients. Toppings were plentiful, veggies were fresh, meats tasted good (got the works). The crust was chewy and had a good flavor, wasn't too bready. Their 3 cheese garlic breadsticks were VERY good. Crispy and buttery with a distinct cheese flavor (stinky cheese, in a good way. e.g parm, Asiago, etc. vs bland cheese like mozzarella) The wings were "ok". Like 99% of pizza places out there, the wings are oven baked vs fried. A tad dry but the skin was reasonably crispy and not slimy. I am interested in trying other varieties of pizza. Always love Pizza Pirates whether it's getting Pizza for the whole office or just a Pie for me. It is always made fresh and if you eat in it comes out extremely hot. Be sure to let it cool so your toppings won't slide off and burn your face. Staff is always friendly, patient, and timely. They have great specialty pizzas and plenty of options to make your own. Okay...I'm about to let y'all in on a little secret... *the pizza here is really good* Oof. Please don't tell my friends back on the east coast that I said that. Yes, I know, I had the hardest time believing it myself - being born and raised in New Jersey...mecca of pizza (people will try to say NYC has the best pizza but ever since gentrification went nutso over there, New Jersey now holds the title), it's almost been a joke that I would find a reputable pizza place out in SoCal....even harder? The inland empire! I have learned to lower my standards since. UNTIL... I got one of pizza pirates mini-booklet fliers (for real, it's like a book) at home because I live down the street. On a whim, my fiance and I decided to be straight rebels and give it a try. We are SO GLAD we did. What was this yummy goodness with this tangy red sauce and why are we just learning about it?! Lo and behold, we have been walking the plank for the pirate ever since. If you're like me and have a hella hard time making decisions, I'll help you out. The classic pizza is great. However, if you are feeling a little ambitious, my favorite is the cheesesteak pizza (there's that east coast in me again). It is fantabulous. I promise. My fiance loves the buffalo pizza as well as the bbq chicken pizza. In all honesty, my least favorite is probably their plain pepperoni. I don't know..I just wasn't a fan. I think there is a pizza here for everyone and I have to say, I'm pretty sure you'll love it too. We haven't had any experience with delivery because we live so close. I will say, though, that you might want to grab one of their fliers because they have coupons on them! Or you can order online and look for the deals. That's what we do. The pizzas get a little pricey when you order more than one. In any case, there are so few options for good pizza in the inland empire. They called a number not associated to me or this house and canceled my order but still charged me and never contacted me to tell me it's canceled. This was my first time ordering from this pizza pirates. I got my order delivered. -Medium pizza Pepperoni, jalapeño, bacon -Original bread sticks -Antipasta salad Small. Customer service over the phone was good! Her name I think was Emily she was polite, she didn't rush me to order my food, she also answered my questions. Total was $21.00 The delivery guy was Very nice and really upbeat! Which was refreshing he didn't come to the door all sluggish, he repeated my order to make sure he got everything. I gave him a $6 tip might not be much but hope he realized he did a good job at approaching. Food: Salad was amazing and refreshing as always! No wilted salad! Breadsticks were soft! I ordered a pizza at 6:40 they said 45 minutes. I called at 7:30 and they said it would be right there. I was feeding a 5 year old and and 7 year old who was really hungry. Just thought I'd come on here and express how happy I am that this pizza pirates goes just to make there customers happy. I Ordered 2 pizzas and 20 wings for delivery. To start I didn't receive a phone call or text saying they were here so my food got left outside when I finally checked my front door it had bugs and was cold. I ended up calling the store 30 Min before closing and I spoke with Michael Dye I Beleive he was the manager but I'm not to sure. He listened to my concern and remade my order completely. He also came and delivered it within 15 Min everything fresh and made sure he handed it to me. Super thankful there's businesses and people like Michael that take pride in there company like he does! Came here late on a weekday due to a family emergency to dine in and the staff was very friendly (except for the guy cleaning who was ready to be closed even though it was an hour before closing).
