After a night out I occasionally go here . They serve pizza by the slice as well as Pasta . Usually a long line but quick friendly service. The place is kinda cute it's more cute because it's actually still open . The price is up the same as Tony's high for a piece of pizza but they are willing to stay open . Quality is ok selection on the pizza is hit and miss . A few choices but at 2 am it doesn't really matter much.

Such a cute little late night place to get a slice of pizza! The service was quick--we got in and out. We got there at a strange time when they were running low on pizza but also bringing out new pizza. Good for a late night dinner

Nice spot to for a late night snack after visiting The Great Star Theatre. Pizza had a nice crust and they have soft drinks and beer. Friendly enough service for the city at late night.

I finally got the chance to go to Pizzelle Di North Beach in my neighborhood to try their hamburgers over the weekend. I decided to go all out and order the largest burger they had, so I ordered the "The Big Burger". I was so surprised at how big it really was when it was brought to my table!! It was a very huge triple patty quarter pounder!! It was so big that I couldn't finish the side of French Fries that came with it. It was so delicious and was one of the best burgers I have had lately. The very lovely cashier was very friendly when she asked me if I wanted American or Mozzarella Cheese on my burger and how I wanted my burger to be cooked. I really need to come back here to try their other burgers and pizza slices. I highly recommend anyone visiting my North Beach neighborhood to come to Pizzelle Di North Beach if they want a huge and delicious triple patty quarter pounder hamburger.

Definitely not the best pizza in North beach but also, not the worst. The pizza lacked a crunch to the crust and it was quite oily. With a little bit of Parmesan cheese and chili flakes, the pizza was solid. I wouldn't order a whole pie again but maybe for a quick slice. Service was fast and the staff was friendly.

A great little place to get a late night slice from friendly staff when most other places would be closed.

If you want "classic" SF slice, Pizzelle delivers. Best slice of cheese in SF period.

The pizza arrived warm and tasted good. The dough was not too thick, which I liked. I only wish there were more toppings on it.

Some sandwiches come with lots of meats and some are saucy and some get cheesy like some in SF. There are some famous and historical places to grab sandwiches in North Beach like Molinari and Freddie's. There is also a place on Columbus Avenue by Joe DiMaggio playground park on which has a French name and serves up some of San Francisco finest sandwiches and it's called" Le Sandwich ". On a Winter season stroll in the beginning of 2026 , I landed at Le Sandwich. This place has lots of sandwiches available made by Chef Elias. I decided to try their Primo ( means Prime in Italian) sandwich. I have to say this is one of the tastiest sandwiches I had in San Francisco. It had meats which were tender such as Genoa Salami, coppa, and ham. It's has melting provolone which made it cheesy like some in SF. They also have FikaLove which is baked goods available like chocolate croissants and cinnamon buns for Fika( Swedish for Coffee break). San Francisco is the place where you can get international foods without the" jet lag" by a park close by were as a kid I use play "tag"and the sandwiches are so big they stick out the " paper bag "and inside has of lots decor from international countries including the "USA flag". Grab a Chef Elias at Le Sandwich tasty sandwiches he will "make" get Fika desserts like some in SF that "flake" Fika in Swedish means when you "take "afternoon "coffee break "

Hello locals and visitors! If you're in the area, this place is a MUST-TRY!…read more It has that small, family-owned, hole-in-the-wall feel--and sometimes those are the places with the best food! The gentleman at the register was nice and welcoming. They have a great variety of food to choose from, including sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti, pizza, wings, and more. This was hands down the BEST food we had during our 4-day visit to San Francisco! I especially want to give a huge shout-out to the cook, Victor! You may think, "It's just pizza and wings," but NO--Victor made everything to perfection! The wings were cooked well done, just how we like them, with the perfect crispy texture. The pizza was delicious too! I only wish we had found this place on our first day. We ended up having dinner here on the last two nights of our vacation because we loved it that much! They also offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash. We paid around $35 for a small pizza (6 slices) 10 wings, and a drink. It was more than enough food for two people, and we even had leftover pizza. if you buy 1 slice of pizza the slices are pretty big. Other places we were spending almost $50 for two people each meal. I truly hope this place stays in business for many years to come. Great food, friendly service, good portions, and reasonable prices. If you're in San Francisco, give this place a try--you won't regret it! Five stars from us!

I am always open to having local based pizzerias to enjoy a good pizza pie. Hearing about this place having three restaurants across San Francisco made it sound like a chainstore pizza joint like Pizza Butt( I mean Pizza Hut). I have tried this place before and it's local to San Francisco and I wanted to give it a whirl in person. On a Spring stroll down Lombard and Van Ness where the hotel and motel signs are over mile deep I wanted to try an American favorite which are pizza pies. Pizza pies have become more American than apple pies these days . I went inside Chico's and tried their pepperoni and sausage before Good Friday approaches. The pizza slice was kind of cheesy like some in SF and it had pepperoni and sausage but not too saucy . The dough was pretty doughy but flakey like some in SF. It reminded me of some old school style of San Francisco pizza which is good paired with a case of beer. Finding pizza after midnight in San Francisco is pretty "hard "the pizza at Chicos is pretty doughy and the cheese was a bit "charred "located at "Lombard" which is a street but starting on Van Ness resembles a "boulevard " Come to Lombard street in the Marina where people "dwell "among the over 30 different" hotel"and "motel" but Chicos is the place where you'll find in SF the cheesy pizza "smell"
