The pesto chicken pizza was the highlight of the day! The goat cheese complemented the flavors so well! We loved the capriciosa as well. The peach cobbler for dessert was also great. The service was a little slow, the waiters would disappear for a while and wouldn't come back until we called them over. Otherwise they super nice and accommodating. We did find dead flies on our plates and cups.

Nice dimly lit pizzeria serving Neapolitan style pizza, salads, and spirits. Fun experience in a fully packed restaurant + bar area. Mixed drinks were great and Food was good but nothing food wise stood out or made us go "yum!" We tried the veal meatballs (not a ton of flavor), green salad (could use more dressing), and margarita DOC pizza (would have liked this with a bit more char on the crust and more flavor in the dough). I'd try it again sometime in the future. I'd probably get more toppings on the pizza to have more flavor and skip the two apps we had.

Solid 4 stars. Happy hour is super worth it. We had the pepperoni pizza and the house made sausage pizza. Both were really good. We were surprised and happy to find this place here in our own neighborhood having never tried it before.

My wife and I went to Pizzeria 22 for New Years Eve and it was spectacular again. It had been too long since we have picked up or dined here, and we need to change that in 2024. We started with two excellent cocktails from the beverage menu, and the server, Carlos then recommended the Chianti for myself, and my wife had the Lucille IPA. All were very refreshing and enjoyable. She had the Insalata 22 and I had the Caesar Salad to start the food menu. Both were good portions and we each had left overs. Then the main event...my wife had the Margherita 22, and I had the Al Pepperoni. Both were incredible. They provide a scissors for each pizza as they do not pre-cut it. Then of course, we had to order the Wood Fired S'mores. Oh my...these are the worth just making the trip to Pizzeria 22. The server Carlos was so friendly and answered all the questions we had. His timing was perfect as well.

Major Tip: be sure to request "light sauce" when ordering a pizza. If not doing this, it's likely the crust will be mushy & flabby. And this is based on experiences from dining-in, enjoying the pie straight from the oven. As a take-away pizza, I imagine it would be very soupy when eating later at home. Their sauce is a on the watery size, they add a large splash of olive oil prior to baking and dough structure not very strong. Ok, with this out of the way, they make a nice wood-fired Napoletana inspired pizza. Cheese and topping are top quality. They just need to manage the moisture better.

We usually get the clam and pick a new pie we haven't tried before. It's never disappointed. For a birthday we've ordered a bunch of pies and it's a hit. The outdoor seating on a summer night is a great meal out.

OMG Claire made my day. I have not found a BOMB pizza spot in a while and I have to say I will be back weekly after that experience. They are rocking it in there, Juan was making the food and he was on point, ready to go. The whole team was doing their thing and this is why everything was perfect. I got a few bottles to spot, why not hello half off. I was able to sample a few, which was nice, i got some random ones to try as the sun is out and HH (happy hour) on my patio with my "bubble of quarentine friends" is coming back to life. They even have seating in the front with covered tents, it was perfect. I will be back (maybe tomorrow). Super excited. OH yeah the beet salad was sooooo good with the nuts the cheese and raspberry dressing you guys sooo good. You have to come check it out. YESSSS this is the pizza spot. Oh wait you know I live in NYC soooo my bar is high!

Very good authentic pizza! The salads are amazing too. They offer delivery but unfortunately the food gets cold by the time it's delivered.

If you can find parking in the Cap Hill area I would definitely consider this as an option for a sweet treat. I think the prices are really reasonable considering some of the other options. Staff: 5/5 (nice) Sanitation: 5/5 (clean) Soft serve w/syrups (5/5) I've had most of the syrups that they offer with their vanilla soft serve. The soft serve itself is a really creamy and rich vanilla milk flavor. I would say it's closer to that Asian milk flavor if you know what I mean. I think the hojicha syrup is my favorite out of all the ones I've tried so far. It has a really nice roasty flavor and not something you can find at most other places. The matcha I would say is my second favorite. The flavor of the matcha syrup is definitely lighter compared to the hojicha but still is a nice compliment to the soft serve. The black sesame would be the lowest on my list out of the, all since I felt like the flavor was too nutty like it was a blend of sesame and potentially a nut. Overall I would definitely go back for the hojicha but if you're not into that there's definitely solid options for other flavors.

We got a matcha float with mochi and a hojicha float with mochi. We love the hojicha better. The matcha is prob one of the better I've tasted, but not often you can find hojicha ice cream and milk tea. It was creamy and mildly sweet. So good, refreshing and satisfying! The mochi were ok. It was very bland and not sweet at all. I do prefer my mochi to have a little sweetness to them, like a sweet bite. This was like chewing a bigger non sweet boba ball. So I'd pass on the mochi here and maybe do all ice cream. If ever we're in Seattle would visit again. Update: we came here a few yrs later. The drinks were still good as ever. My husband got a frappe and loved it. We had a salmon bowl which was decent. Not something I would order again here but we were so hungry from traveling and meeting friends, we needed some food. This time no line out the door. We got a seat inside. We came in June this yr, nice weather outside but inside was super hot as they did not run the AC. They had the windows/doors open but no breeze and mosquitos were inside attacking. I can't imagine a good breeze when the cafe is wedged btw two huge buildings. It made our visit this time very stifling.

My drink (red bean brown sugar latte) was obviously extremely sweet but it was pretty good with plenty of red bean. My one complaint is that they don't have boba straws, which is a bit baffling to me. Sure they don't technically sell boba but the red bean topping in my drink was constantly stuck in the straw because its so narrow! Seems like an odd oversight. I had to use a spoon to eat the red bean by itself at the end.

One night, after a dinner nearby, I went here to try the soft serve. It was absolutely phenomenal. The choice of flavors isn't much, but the amount and variety of toppings is awesome. I went with the vanilla and chocolate swirl, with butterscotch hard shell and reese's pieces. Firstly, the texture was so smooth and creamy. It had a great mix of both flavors, and was at the perfect temperature. But the toppings are really what makes this. Hard shell is not something you find often, but being able to break this butterscotch and eat the crunchiness along with the melting ice cream was amazing. The excessive amount of reese's pieces added saltiness and even more texture to the overall thing. It was just wonderful overall. Given that, I was really excited to get the fried chicken sandwich, which I did a week later. Unfortunately, it was really bad. I was just confused at first. How could things have gone so wrong here. I'd heard a lot of good things about the fried chicken sandwich. Yet no amount of online reviews could rescue the reality that was in my hands. The chicken was just awful. There was a ton of breading, practically thicker than the chicken itself. But somehow it just failed to be crunchy - it just felt soggy with every bite. Over-breaded chicken is never a great sign, and the inside was terrible - barely even tasting like chicken. It was super overcooked; no juice at all. The fried chicken piece was also super thin compared to how large the buns were. Just nothing worked on this sandwich at all - including the excessive amount of mayo. It's one of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I've had. Price-wise, the chicken sandwich is actually not too expensive at around $11. The soft serve is about half that, but at a pretty good portion. It's tough for me to come up with an overall rating because the soft serve was so good, followed by a mind-bogglingly bad sandwich. I guess I'd only recommend you come here for dessert. 6.5/10
