    Undercooked pizza
    Franki B.

Today I went here for the first time and was excited to try a brick oven pizza place in Roswell. The pictures on the menu looked great. The price point was way higher than I would expect for a brick oven pizza because I paid $30 for a large, but I'm willing to pay that if it's good Pizza. We walk in and they have our pizza ready at the exact time they told us it would be ready. We decided to just eat in there so we sit down at a table and open up the pizza box and the pizza is basically raw. We pick a piece out and it wasn't even cooked to have the crunchy crispy bottom crust that you would expect from a brick oven pizza. It was completely floppy and all the toppings just poured off. You had to support it with two hands to even take a bite. I walked over and asked the lady if she could put the pizza back in the oven for a couple minutes. She immediately told me no because it was already sliced and that it would just fall apart. I asked her if she could put it on a tray or an oven rack and put it in there. She told me no because then it would just turn black. So I paid $30 for a basically raw pizza. The pepperonis weren't even cooked. They tasted like raw pepperoni does. I took the pizza home and put it in my oven and cooked it at 500° for 15 minutes and it came out with a nice crunchy crust like you would expect. Then the pizza itself was good. But with that lack of customer service and serving raw pizza, I would not recommend this place at all. Really wanted to like this place. Who in their right mind would even cut the pizza when undercooked?

Pizzas were absolutely delicious. We came on a Sunday during lunch time and there was plenty of seating inside and out. It wasn't crowded however we did wait about 15 mins for our pizza. You order at the counter and the food gets delivered to your desk with silver trays. Also a station to pick utensils from Overall nice spot with their own parking spots

    Hot honey wings

This place was better before covid but the pizza is still pretty decent. I tried the hot honey wings for the first time and was very disappointed. They were mostly fat and hardly any meat. I literally had one drumstick that was all fat and had no actual meat on it. I will never try the wings again. I feel like their pizza ingredients have changed over the years. Used to be one of my favorites

The pizza itself was amazing. Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. However, their whole system detracts from the quality of their food. You order at the counter, are given a number, and then seat yourself at an indoor picnic table that resembles something of an army barracks and wait for someone to bring your food. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with light sauce and my husband ordered some meatballs and a glass of wine. He was disappointed by the meatballs and even more-so that his wine came in a plastic cup. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza but also found the ambiance to be a bit off-putting. For the prices they charge, the experience should certainly be more elevated than it is, which is why we won't be back. If I was rating the pizza alone, it would easily be 5 stars, but I think 3 is the maximum justified rating for the experience as a whole. I may order takeout someday but we definitely won't be dining in again.

Gotta be honest, my experience with this place sucked. I don't even get on yelp to leave review ever, but this pizza was genuinely so rubbery and awful, I felt inclined to put it out there. Over priced, poor customer service, and felt like an undercooked rubbery mess. Took a single bite and knew that this was pretty much a lost cause. I'm seriously confused by the five star reviews, probably the manager making burner accounts.

We had planned to eat the pizza there, but when we walked in the place was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected. There was zero ambiance. They had more of a waiting area than a dining area, which was surprising to me. Luckily my friend lives nearby so we just took the pizza to go. While we were waiting, employees came and sat at the table next to us and were putting together pizza boxes. It's just weird, I don't get it. I would either make a legitimate dining area (one not used for side work and much nicer than what is currently in place) or get rid of the tables altogether. They're old and in the way. Turn some music on, clean up the interior. Also the outside of the place is a bit run down. Parking lines so ancient you can't see them- that kind of thing. The pizza was pretty good but not amazing and for $22.75 I need it to be amazing. I like supporting small businesses, but when I can get a better tasting and cheaper pizza at Dominos, that's unfortunately the route I have to go. Especially when the spot has no ambiance. Sadly I will not be back unless they someday reduce prices, add more items to their menu, and create a real dining space.

Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

See photos. Grabbed a salad, some pasta and couldn't pass on the dessert. The Insalata Romana dressing was subdued so for those who don't like bold and zesty - it'll be right up their alley. Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. Really enjoyed the experience there overall. Sitting at the bar, not loud - kinda intimate. Maybe 10 seats. Beer, wine and spirits. Also a happy hour to finish out a work day. I couldn't decide what I wanted for a glass of wine and they offered to bring me glasses to sample. I love this-- I saw them offer same service to another table close by. We split the Caesar and they were kind enough to diving between two bowls. The only other place that does this for us is Cibo e Beve. The focaccia was wonderful with large flakes of salt on top and went great with their olive oil. We are truly picky Caesar eaters and this one had freshly shaved Parmesan and obvious homemade croutons. Pasta was fabulous for both of us. Would we dine here again?
