What an experience this was. Went with my girls and dragged along my hubby. For brunch we went at 1pm haha. I worked that day and by the time I looked at reservations this was the only time available. Dress up for the occasion to match the vibe of the place. Service was awesome. We got the orange dreamsicle mimosa which was quite nice. Really did taste like a dreamsicle. I got the English breakfast. Food was great! On the pricier side, but I think you should try it. Key would be again to try to look at the menu prior to going to see whether it fits your liking or not. I always make my partner take a look at what he wants so I know he will actually eat here. What I didn't photograph that my husband ate was the raised waffle and a side of podmore bacon. He enjoyed both! Absolutely loved the bacon!! My friends had the Christmas breakfast and the fried Chicken and biscuit. We also shared a smoked souffle pancake. This is just a place that you get an experience and a meal. We went Sunday so parking was free at the meters next to the building. Making this review, I'm thinking maybe we should go back again! read more

Hmm, I can't believe all the 5 stars they have. Went there last night on a Friday, it was dead. Just 1 couple at the bar and a party of four in the dining room. I made a reservation at Resy the app that their website uses. It was convenient but I didn't appreciate the need to enter my credit card and the threat of a $25 cancellation fee for each person. I understand it I guess in these times but It just seems rude, lol. The space is gorgeous! The presentation of everything is beautiful but like a lot of reviews said, it's a one and done kind of place. I had the El Diablo and my friend just had a vodka and soda they charged $12 for the vodka and $4 for the soda! That's just ridiculous and they put that huge block of ice in the drinks which looks cool but were unnecessary in the drinks we had. We ordered the Proper Chips which were greasy and the potatoes were gray inside, yuck. You would think a restaurant would know to soak the potatoes to prevent discoloration : ( The pork bun was also greasy and I didn't care for the apple sauce, it just made everything messy and soggy. read more

1. Ambience Is great! It's a very elegantly renovated space in downtown Honolulu. Very attractively done - very inviting. 2. Sadly things have gone downhill since it's opening. the service is very friendly, very nice. But they absolutely do not have it together in their timing of serving the food. I was in a party of four today for brunch. The very superb cocktails were delivered swiftly 3. Things went downhill from there. I had checked the menu before going and had decided on three items that looked inviting. None of the three items were available. The item that I did choose, had some of the individual items on the plate not available. It took 70 minutes from the time we ordered until any of the meals were delivered. They were delivered one at a time with up to five minutes between each plate. Which made for a rather awkward dining situation. We were the last people in the restaurant, although we were not the last people to have arrived. The meal that I chose, the full English breakfast, with the exception of the two eggs and toast, appeared to have been prepared earlier that day. Although the plate had probably been assembled after my ordering it, by the time it arrived all was lukewarm. The staff was very profusely apologetic when told how disappointed we were - they delivered a complimentary cocktail at the end of the meal, which was not something that I wanted, but a very nice gesture. If this was a one off thing I would say, well, it was Easter Sunday and maybe they were quite busy. But not all the tables were full, so that was not the case. An earlier dinner that I had had there several weeks ago was also disappointing. We ordered their Wagyu steak, which is their specialty. We had ordered medium rare and when it arrived, there was nothing pink on the plate. Very disappointing. At the prices that they charge, I am very sad to say that I will not go back. My breakfast today was over $80 for a delicious old-fashioned cocktail and mediocre eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and toast. I think I could've had a more satisfying breakfast at Zippy's and it probably would have been served warm. This is truly disappointment as I've always really enjoyed going to this lovely bar and restaurant, and in the past felt that both their cocktails and food were superb. I think it's time for Management to look at the whole operation and ask what's happening? Time to make some changes! read more

We came here for drinks and were not disappointed. Everything we ordered and ate was delicious. Our server took meticulous care to explain each of our orders and was incredibly attentive. We were able to find street parking easily nearby. I took more boomerangs than photos here because the drinks were so fun to watch being prepared tableside. Highly recommend the Freddie 2.0. Just a fun little stop in old downtown Honolulu. Good cocktail selection and food from high quality ingredients, expertly prepared. Go for the smoke soufflé pancakes if they are on the menu. You may find yourself ordering more than one. Also recommend the bacon which is very thick, browned, slightly crisp and chewy. I was excited to visit and enjoy dinner with my family at Pidmore. I had high expectations after viewing their Instagram account, however, I unexpectedly ended up feeling underwhelmed. The drinks were good and unique, the dinner portions were on the smaller end. My husband's pumpkin meal had 7 pasta pieces for $34. To put a little context to this post Yesterday we went to Senia(one of their restaurant)and spent a little over $1,200 to celebrate a professional achievement. We were 6, 3 of our party have executive position and manage some of the biggest Waikiki hotels. During the pandemic they kept the boat aflot and because of their work they kept hundreds of hospitality workers working. We went to Senia to celebrate their work and have a good dinner. After a pretty good dinner there we decided to go walk to Podmore to have a few drinks. We arrived there and got seated. We were about to order and this lady(our server) just told us that she will not serve alcohol to 2 members of our group. None of us were really drunk as we just had some wines at the restaurant but some of us were very tired as we work 60+ hours a week. I was obviously shocked as it never happened to any of us before,it was maybe only around 9:00 pm and none of us were acting drunk. This Lady should not work in this industry as she can not make the difference between drunk and tired. Very unfortunate as the place looked nice and we were excited to try their coaktails selection. We will make sure to share our bad experience with our network and I will suggest the management.of that place to share the value of Aloha to their staff.. read more

First Yelp I've ever given. The ambience is great! Best for an after work drink. That's it. There were only 3 parties when we entered and the server never smiled once. Even looked perturbed. Absolutely unreal. LOVE. I wish I had an endless amount of money to go back here and indulge. I was a bit hesitant to take the plunge and go to Podmore, but I look back now with no regrets. What a truly unique spot. It felt like it should be in NYC, LA, maybe even Amsterdam or Denmark -- somewhere COOL. Not to say Oahu isn't cool :) But you know, like the movies! Anyway, I walked in and the environment truly changed around me. Marble, emerald green velvet, tinges of gold, hanging plants, dim enough to feel intimate, but still bright enough to appreciate the colors and details of the space. Oh my, I now totally see why its taken a long time to open up. There was some WORK put into Podmore. And of course, I totally get why reservations are so hard to get. It felt so special. The drinks, first of all, a dream! I wish I could try them all. I knew I had to get the Chung Chow for obvious reasons (hello, look at it!?). And it was just as lovely as it looked. The flavors of the infused ice cubes blended perfectly. The alcohol was present but not too strong, and it was refreshing overall. I also ordered Mr. Manager, which was I was hesitant about but oh my, A DESSERT DRINK for sure! If you plan on ordering the Sticky Toffee Pudding, get this drink to go with it. I would say it pairs perfectly. :) They both have that sweet, warm flavor. The caramel and banana go well together, as they always do. And the food, omg. Scotch Quail Eggs were as good as I hoped they'd be. Piping hot but crunchy, and the dip (?) on the side was divine. Creamy, light, smokey? I don't even know how to explain it. Just so delicious. And the Roasted Pork Bun, YUM. Who knew apple sauce would pair with the pork so well. It was an interesting balance of salty-sweet, but it matched. Whoever did this menu obviously is a genius when it comes to flavor pairings, haha. Ooh, and the Hamachi Roll! Feels like home, somehow. It's simple, a little upscale, but kind of what you'd expect, and in a good way. And I can't forget about the Smoked Potato Salad. What an interesting meal. You'd think it was just pretty, but damn it's good. Each item goes well with the cheese dip, which I wanted to DRINK! I love that there were different textures in this dish. Silky smooth cheese, crunchy pickles and onions, crisp yet soft potatos, slightly chewy gnocchi.. I'm about to drool. I just can't squeal over this enough. I personally had a hard time with this place , It was recommended to us as a place that was very different, it was so different than I left there hungry!'! To give a small example what they considered in English as a proper chip ( french fries )came 4 french fries on a plate ...for 12 or 14 dollars$$ I should have stopped there if one has traveled enough to Europe one knows not to go to England for good fruit or when you were there for good food you need to go for Indian food it's just a known fact. The owner with no disrespect, is English , he is , I came to understand is also the chef! You can't get a glass of wine as they only serve Hard liquor... so in reality it's a hard liquor bar extremely expensive and there's a big block of ice the length of your glass though Beautiful in presentation it takes a lot of space away from your Alcohol... This is truly a place I think for specialty drinks and just a look at something new read more

The staff was very nice and the food was tasty but it came out luke warm. I asked if the dish was to be served cold and they said no we need to talk to the kitchen. The bill came and no discussion about the cold food. They did not offer a Sauvignon Blanc wine but gave me a sample of a wine from Portugal which was delicious. The glass that the wine was served in was very small and the cost was $14 per glass. Finding this wine on line at Wine.com a bottle is $10. Came in spur of the moment for breakfast. I got sat immediately,the room was the perfect climate, workers were friendly. Classy mature ambiance with some good music playing. I asked for them to make my pick. They brought out some rock cakes of different varieties that went great with my coffee and then the chicken and biscuits with on over-easy egg for breakfast. Not stuffy, and felt very clean and spacious because it was not crowded. Yes,the drinks are pricey but it is a place you come for a treat. I ordered their pimms cup drink which was and worth $30. You can get a refill for $10. My husband ordered a bourbon drink he loved. We ate scotch eggs, smoked potatoe salad and steamed ricotta dumplings. All of it was yum! I cant wait to return. living a block and a half away, I'm able to visit easily, which is a good thing in my book. the crew who work here are always such a joy to be around. the service is great, they are knowledgeable about the menu (both food and drink.) the menu is always terrific. they have some staples that are always there, which I love. they also rotate some of the other items for new, fresh choices, which I also love. the atmosphere is beautiful, really beautifully decorated and very comfortable seating, both at the tables and the bar. I don't drink, however the coffee (which I do drink) is excellent, and I've enjoyed a couple of mocktails to go along with my food, well matched. oh my goodness, the bacon, abso some of the best on the island. Had an amazing Saturday. Loved the atmosphere. Food was excellent. I had the Bubble & Squeak and a side of Pono Pork sausage. The potato & veggie croquette was spot on and paired well with the egg sauce and frisée salad. My sister had the Fried Chicken & Biscuit, which was also delicious. Oh and we also ordered the rock cakes. I think the fillings change but the ones we ate had cherry and chocolate pieces in it. Overall a great place to dine for brunch. Easily one of my favorite bars/restaurants on the island. Impeccable plating, and flavorful and innovative drinks that make you truly appreciate culinary and gastronomic craftsmanship. Been 2 times. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Great service, even brought my wife a shawl because she was a little cold. Drinks are excellent. We love the signature ones. Wasn't much change in the food offerings since our initial visit. Would be nice to have a little more choice and slightly bigger portions for the cost. You will pay top dollar here, so I would like to see a dress code. You have guys coming in with baseball caps on backwards, shorts and slippahs. It's a classy place and I think most are going out for a special occasion, so lets keep it classy to get in. read more

We went here for my birthday and ordered some drinks. The staff accidentally dropped both drinks and it got on my friend and the glass shattered. Mistakes happen but i think I was more disappointed with the service not providing compensation for that type of place.
