    Regular Poke Bowl
    Ronald L.

Was craving Poke and saw Poke Origin and decided to give it a try. Well they didn't disappoint there's many various combinations you can configure your bowl. They even have snow crab which was really delicious. If you are in the Sunset district and looking for good Poke I'd definitely stop by Poke Origin.

There are lots of good foods available in San Francisco from the islands ( not the Alcatraz Island). San Francisco is not an island but anything past the city limits is just the Bay and not San Francisco. You can get food and dishes from restaurants which serves cuisine from islands around the world like Indonesia, United Kingdom, Cuba, Philippines, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Jamaica , Ireland, and Malaysia in San Francisco. One island food which is one of my favorites is from Hawaii in the USA (my favorite country). One dish which is good to casually eat in SF is Poke. Although there are lot of places to grab Poke in San Francisco, I enjoy going to Poke Origin when I am at the Sunset Strip in San Francisco on Irving street. On a 2026 stroll in the Inner Sunset of the Sunset of San Francisco there is a place which crab season and seafood season is year round all four seasons .Inside Poke Origin you can pick up a paper sheet and pencil in your order with a #2 pencil ( eraser included) like you are taking a multiple choice test. You can pick your protein , sauce, and toppings for your poke bowl. I had the five protein poke bowl with crab, salmon ,scallops , tuna and shrimp. I added the spicy aioli and it was so tasty. There is limited seating inside but you can always take it to go and enjoy it inside Golden Gate Park in the city of San Francisco. Pencil and paper is how you order inside without a "digital screen"you can select" between" the crab, salmon , tuna and scallops, and even roast beef for your "protein" and for your base you can pick rice , kelp noodles, or mixed "green " Then you can get saucy and add sauces like sesame aioli, unagi, kimchee and "honey avocado" and top it off with "tamago" and "massago" and wash it down with ITO EN Oi Ocha Green Tea by the "bottle"

This is for a GrubHub/takeout experience. Staff seem friendly because I had to call to ask for clarification on what a combo deal was and they were very helpful. They drew on the take out bag which I thought was just adorable. Food was very good, fresh and had great flavor. My favorite was the scallop, but the tuna and escolar were also good. Accidentally added tamago instead of tobiko, my bad but the tamago was still good even though on the sweet side. Quantity for cost was very good. I would definitely stop by to grab food before going to the park next time.

One of the best poke bowls I've ever had. It was so flavorful. I did the regular serving with crab meat and ahi tuna. I added pineapple and the sweet corn, cilantro, green onion, spicy mayo and their poke sauce. It did not disappoint. The inside is small and was a bit warm and there are no public restrooms but the service was great and they got our order out fast. Would visit again.

3 Scoops with Sushi White Rice and Scallops & Spicy Tuna & Salmon

I came here on a Wednesday night with a friend. While most people seemed to order poke to-go, my friend and I stayed to eat in the restaurant that can seat around less than 20. The decorations are minimal and tropical themed, with the workers being very sweet. I ordered a regular poke bowl with sushi white rice as my base and scallop and spicy tuna and salmon as my proteins. The bowl was well-proportioned and worth the price. I believe the ingredients were pretty fresh, and there was a good amount of protein compared to the other toppings. Rather than the poke being served immediately, we waited for around 10 minutes for our poke. Besides the slower service than I expected, the poke bowl was delicious & well-priced!

I used to live in the neighborhood, and this was actually one of the first places I tried when I was new in town. It left a great impression. I got shrimp and tuna over a salad base, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. What I really loved was sitting by the big windows and watching Irving Street while I ate which made the whole meal feel even more enjoyable. Solid spot for a casual, feel-good meal.

This is a good Poki Bowl place in the sunset in SF. My favorite Bowl is the White Rice Both Spicy Crab and Regular Crab with jalapeños, onions, cilantro, spicy mayo. That's my style of Poki bowl. I always come here to get points on my clover app I got about 5 or 6 points on the clover app. If you get 10 points or more on the clover app if you visit Poke Origin. You'll get a free bowl on your next visit.

Stopped by for a quick pick up and all of the ingredients are fresh! They're very generous with portions here. My local go-to in the Sunset for a quick healthy meal. Quick service and clean space.

Fill out one of these order forms. You have a choice of three scoops $13.99 or five scoops $16.99 of protein. Everything else is unlimited. In my five days of stay in San Francisco, I came here twice. Portion is good. There is five minute parking in front of the business. My one gripe is that food is served out of hard plastic .

I had been hanging in the Inner Sunset area, which is one of my favorite areas in the city, and was looking for a nearby Poke place. When I came here, it was still take out only, no indoor dining yet. I went with all salmon with a spring mix base, with all the fixins. I did appreciate that they were generous with the salmon and ginger, most poke places I have to ask for extra ginger. I always like the places that have you fill out your order on a form, checking the boxes, and you can watch them or not if you want. That poke bowl really hit the spot!!!

They had a final closing party this past Saturday, and we knew we had to stop by for few last drinks and bites. It was low key kinda sad as we had to say goodbye to some of our favorites. Over the years (past decade or so now) we've gotten to know the staff and this spot has been a spot where we knew we'd get great service, good convos, and of course tasty wings, totchos, and $1 oysters on Thursdays. Shout out to Matt, Tracy, Jeremy, and their entire team for the amazing hospitality over the years. Paina closing is a reminder that it's important to not take your favorite restaurants/bars for granted because you never know when that final day will eventually come and when it does it comes way too fast. I hope the team reads this as I just want to say THANK YOU for everything and that you will be missed. The memories and moments I've gotten to enjoy here over the years won't be forgotten!

Speaking of wings, the house Pa'ina flavor was really tasty. Even un-sauced, they were tasty. You will be missed Pa'ina!

Once entered, you are greeted with a cute statue, great for little ones and adults. We got seated pretty quickly at a booth. Different from traditional sushi conveyor belt place, you don't see pre-made dishes around. Instead, each table/spot comes with a screen for placing orders. You can pick up to 4 dishes each time, then added to cart. When your dish is coming, you see the light flashing, then a nice train carries your happiness over. Once unloaded, you push a button and wave bye bye to the train departing. Yes. Super fun for kids. I ordered some sashimi, tofu salad and some sushi. They are super fresh! Service is fast, consistent and friendly. My kids enjoyed goyza, soup, onion rings and some cooked sushi's. We would love coming back again. I can see this to be our go to place in Japan town.
