I am super confused by the super high reviews at this place. I first arrived and was greeted by a woman who was not all that friendly. But moving on from that, I filled out a Poke form. You're allowed to pick 3 fishes or else you'll have to pay a $1.50 more. I have been to a lot of poke places and often times you're allowed to get more of a variety than this. Also, a little disappointing how you could only pick one sauce and there are limited toppings. When you go to a poke place usually there is a wider selection. I decided to look past this and see how I enjoyed my poke bowl. For $8.95 you get a decent amount, but as for flavor, it lacked a lot of flavor. Things seemed fresh, but the downfall was the poke itself did not taste all that fresh. I have been to many poke places and I have to say this place was definitely a miss. This place was disappointing and the fish needs to be fresher for poke. Also I was not able to differentiate the fishes I received , since for some reason they looked fairly different but tasted the same. FISHY TO ME. I am a sushi fanatic and know my fishes. Very good poke, extremely fresh, good ingredients in the poke bowls. Place is very clean (although it had been open for 10 days when I visited, so it should be clean) and the woman working the counter was extremely pleasant and friendly. I don't normally give reviews but I really liked this place. I was craving a poke bowl but was tired of my usual place. This place was close by. Very clean when I walked in. Usually when I order a poke bowl I don't get a choice of what's in it. Picking my own ingredients was a nice change. The girl at the counter (sorry didn't get her name) was very helpful explaining all of the sauces and toppings. My bowl was very tasty and very fresh. Can't wait to come back. read more

Nice clean and big resto hidden inside McD hopping center. Poke price is reasonable. The biggest drawback is the poke rice. I think they use jasmin instead of sushi rice. The grain is too big and not sticky. Rice temperature is less warm than expected. So-so experience. read more

I ordered poke bowl and tuna roll for my late lunch. I was pretty hungry but the food taste was not good at all. I got full because there were too much rice and less fish in the roll lol. Tasty, healthy, reasonably priced. You must try this place. This is one of those reviews I'm afraid to submit because this place is fairly new and I don't want to have to wait in line in the future. It's that good. The poke bowl is absolutely delicious. I got the tuna (x3) with brown rice, furikake, cucumber, ginger, green onion and spicy mayo. It was amazing. They also provide an excellent low carb sushi option wrapped in cucumber instead of rice. It's super clean and operated by very conscientious staff. My husband and I had two bowls, two rolls, and two beers for under $50. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Poke bowls are about $9 and it's good enough for lunch. Sources are sooo good! I like spicy mayo and garlic ponzu. I ordered salmon and tuna, which the portions were generous. The quality of the seafood is high and I did not detect not a tinge of fishiness throughout my meal. I also ordered crunch roll and it was good too. I hated this place!!! If you want to get sick this is the place.. No no no I will never go back here to eat anything!!!! I have been telling my sister we should try it but I went in today and the food was no good. I got a crunch roll and a spicey tuna handroll .. its been about 4 hrs and I can still taste that bad fish in my mouth. The sushi was somewhat bare of rice for a slice sushi and the hand roll tasted like can meat with at bad metal taste that I stopped eating and left it because I didnt want to get sick.. The check was 14 buck with no drink .. ARE you kidding me!!!! I will go back to the sushi place that is on Tustin and will tell folks about how bad it is.. The gal who worked at the register was very nice .. Oh and I got a salad free with a clump of dressing on the top and i know folks eat with chop sticks but that was a first for me eating a salad with them . have to say as cheap as the salad was it was the best thing there... lost my business.... read more

I don't know what these owners are thinking. Thought we would try out this new to us place. Arrived about 6pm looking forward to sushi,poke. It was probably 15 degrees hotter inside than out side, at least 85-90 degrees, stifling!!. No fans, no air conditioning, door to out side wide open. We are talking raw fish here people. Did not even order, did not feel it would be safe to eat raw fish handled in that environment. And the open door? No fan over the door to blow flys out, isn't that against health regulations? Profits must be slim to choose to save $$ for electric to cool their restaurant. If they skimp on these obvious health issues, what else are they skimping on? read more

This place is literally the best poke in Orange. I come here for lunch like every day, except Sunday because they're closed :/ They let you build your own poke bowls, and I've made all kinds of combinations; they're all great. The staff is super nice and quick, the place is clean, it's usually nice and quiet, and the price isn't bad for fresh fish. If you like sushi, rice, and veggies, try this place. read more

I've been searching for a go to poke bowl place and THIS IS THE ONE. Another plus is that it is five minutes away from Chapman. The service was good and this poke bowl is incredible. Everything tastes fresh and clean. I got 2 salmon and 1 yellowtail with rice, corn, carrots, cucumber, edamame, wasabi and seaweed salad topped with spicy mayo and house dressing. So, so delicious! Very well done -to keep costs affordable. Guessing they have a good to go biz. The food here is worth every penny. The service is great--a lovely lady does practically everything for you. Even though the forks and napkins are at a little booth, the lady will come get everything for you and serve your food to you. It gives it a more welcoming feel, and not just a typical fast food place where you dine and dash. Food wise, there isn't just poke. They have regular sushi and ice cream macarons. The poke bowls have a generous amount of food, and it's all of great quality. Also, it's never too crowded even at typical rush hours. I definitely will be back soon. read more

Came here on a Saturday night just before closing at 9pm. Made it just in time. The owner greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us the menu. If you're ordering the poki bowl, which I suggest you should, you get a piece of paper and simply mark what you want. I suggest extra avocado :) the fish was quite fresh with nice texture, not slimy like other places. The rice though! So fluffy yet full of texture with a good chew to it. That was definitely one of my favorite things about the poki bowl. All in all great spot for some good ole poki! read more

tried it out for lunch and got poke bowls and they're were so bomb! you get a sheet at the counter and mark everything you want, then order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to you. we also got a sushi roll but it was nothing compared to the poke bowl. will definitely be back soon! read more
