    St. Louis Ribs Ramen
    Raven R.

Came in for lunch. Place is cozy and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. We got the st louis ribs ramen and tonkotsu black ramen. St Louis Ribs Ramen- This is such a comforting dish! You get a massive rib that is tender and marinated well. The broth is flavorful with a hint of sweetness. You get crunchy bean sprouts and corn to add texture. Seaweed and green onions add a depth of flavor. Tonkotsu Black Ramen- The broth is rich and hearty. Woodear mushrooms and bean sprouts add a layer of crunch. You also get corn and bean sprouts to bulk up the flavors even more. Great experience overall!

Stopped by Yoshiharu Ramen in Orange on a weeknight and only ordered appetizers this time around. Yoshiharu Ramen is located next to a grocery store and taqueria in an older shopping plaza across from Goodwill/Home Depot. As you step inside, the cooks behind the counter will greet you -- which is nice! Several tables are arranged closely together and an atypical sectioned-off room designed for groups. The ambiance was quiet and relaxed compared to the busier weekend crowds, which made for a more laid-back, quick pickup experience. In fact dropping in mid-week at 5:30PM is perfect (no patrons yet but can imagine crowds will build up by 7PM). I called and this time no fried oysters. They offer fried oysters as an option during the weekends. If you see on the menu or ask servers about availability -- it's worth checking. I was able to get my favorite veggie korokke crispy and flavorful--definitely an item for those that like starchy potatoes! :) I also got California Rolls, while it's not the best and smaller portions, but hey I wanted a rice-base item to eat with along my fried potatoes. The service was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back soon during the weekend to get my favorite - spicy miso ramen with extra eggs and seaweed!

We came at the perfect time, and 60° night. We've been coming to Yoshiharu for a while now and finally decided to drop a review. Like our normal order for the family we ordered the gyoza, two spicy tonkotsu ramens, and one non-spicy. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and consistent--just like every visit. The broth is rich without being too heavy, the noodles are always on point, and the gyoza had good crisp. Yelp's four-star rating is spot on. Solid ramen, reliable flavors, and always a good choice here in Orange.

Love this place. We regularly get food here while my kids are at dance class. Sergio and Lizzie are always making sure things are right and my kids love their tonkatsu ramen

Their savory ramen here never fails, always delicious, with great portions and reasonable pricing. One thing to note is that the menu isn't fully updated, and they removed one of the kids' items. I ended up ordering the kids ramen for my little ones, and they loved it! They were out of their draft beer during our visit and only had bottled options available. Unfortunately, we went on a rainy Sunday evening, and the wait was long approx. 40mins. Service was very slow, and our waiter kept forgetting things. It was clear the staff was overwhelmed that night. Despite the hiccups, I would still go back because the ramen is truly amazing. Props to the kitchen staff for their delicious food!

Tonkotsu black spicy ramen. So good! Huge portion, I couldn't finish.

So good I couldn't wait to eat it, and this is my only photo. Ambiance is casual and clean. The staff were nice and attentive. They did mess up a bit and gave my friend a mild instead of medium spicy but it still tastes great.

This is mine and my sons first time here and I love how this place had a kids ramen option! The broth is yummy and the texture of the noodles is just how I like them!! I also ordered the spicy garlic edamame and those are my favorite. The service was great and efficient & the environment is nice and peaceful. I will be coming back ...

    * Quiet and simple restaurant, very low-key. * Comfortable seating, uncluttered space. * No wait on a Monday evening, which was a nice surprise. * Ramen portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

Stole my money. Gave me the wrong order and refused to correct the mistake. I never really leave bad reviews, but I am so upset and feel cheated. I placed a to-go order for the tonkotsu miso ramen... and I got the spicy miso ramen level 1 or 2. You can clearly tell from the other reviews and the pictures on their ordering site which ramen is which. I am pregnant and spicy things make me nauseous. I literally wasted $17... as I can't eat what they gave me. It is not what I ordered, and they refuse to answer the answer the phone to correct this mistake. I called multiple times before 8:30pm (they close at 9pm) and I have a screenshot of the time I called at 8:23pm with no answer. Also, I called in to place the order... so I know they answer the phone. TERRIBLE SERVICE. DID NOT GIVE ME WHAT I ORDERED. If you do not want to waste your money and be given what you didn't order, DO NOT GO HERE.

After watching a movie at the Block I was really craving some ramen so I decided to check this place out! Located in a pretty big parking lot, there was plenty of parking around. It was only me this time, so I was greeted by my waiter and sat immediately at the bar. There's an open kitchen around here so you can see the chefs at work while they cook. I browsed through the menu and decided to go with the calamari and the spicy tonkotsu lvl 2 spicy! Food took about 5-10 mins to come out. The overall restaurant setting is pretty small but cozy and can accommodate bigger parties if needed. It was pretty busy for a random Wednesday at 6:30pm but the food arrived and I was ready to dig in! I didn't take pictures of the menu this time but the calamari definitely did not look like what was pictured. After taking a bite it was pretty hard to chew! The sauce was great but it didn't really help the chew. That was tough! The ramen itself looked really appetizing though but how did it taste? I think it's okay at best. The broth was warm and tasted alright. The pork pieces itself were almost as tough as the calamari pieces! That kinda sucked but overall the ramen itself was alright at best. Chefs looked like they worked hard as well as my servers, both of which were really awesome and very efficient. I was checked on constantly and asked every time if I needed anything. Aside from all that, I think the food was okay at best. I've had way better ramen for around the same price which came to around $30 for both dishes. Fair price for the amount of food you get but still I believe it could've tasted way better. I'm more upset that the menu picture used doesn't match what you get haha. Honestly it's more of a 2.5 star review but I'll give em the benefit of the doubt. Overall, I think I would need to test out the other ramen places around this area before I say get your ramen fix here!

A nice place to go to after a long day out! I had the Tonkostu Spicy Ramen, and it was amazing.

Do they have a new phone number tried calling but both numbers say they can't accept voicemails?

I just tried calling myself and it said they aren't accepting voicemails either. I did try calling the one in Garden Grove on West Chapman and someone did answer.

It's def more hidden since it's in a business buiding, but there was still a full house when we visited on a Thurs evening for dinner. We waited around 20 mins to be seated. The ordering process was quick, service was friendly, and the food came out quick. Loved both their ramen and apps! PARKING : This location is a bit unique; it's in a courtyard area of a business building! The parking lot out front was pretty empty when we came around 7pm on a Thursday. We followed signs to get into the courtyard with the storefront. FOOD/DRINKS : Tonkotsu Ramen - Pork Chashu, spinach, green onion, seaweed, bean sprout, half egg -- creamy and flavorful broth, love the toppings and the chashu is some of the most tender I've had! Upgraded to Combo to include a small salad + salmon poke rice bowl - Salad dressing was nice and acidic, helped to have some veg between all the decadent bites! Salmon poke was okay, but I like Spicy Tuna more for sure. Quite a bit of rice in the bowl compared to fish. Spicy Cold Dipping Noodle - Bonito dashi broth w/ chili oil, cold noodles with pork chashu, bamboo, kaiware sprouts, bean sprouts, egg, spinach -- Super refreshing and cold! Loved the vinegar-y refreshing dipping broth. Not spicy to me, but had good chili flavor. Crispy Rice w/ Spicy Tuna - spicy tuna, avocado, crispy rice, eel sauce -- rice was soft yet crispy, not too oily. generous amount of spicy tuna. Matcha Latte w/ Azuki Boba - i like to get this when i dine here -- it's not a strong fancy coffeeshop "double matcha" by any means, but it's not trying to be one. It's a nice creamy matcha drink with red bean flavor thrughout and boba at the bottom. I like it as a sweet treat after all the savory foods!

This wasn't just a "ramen joint"--it was a masterclass in authentic Fukuoka-style soul food. The Broth: Liquid Gold The standout was always their Signature Tonkotsu broth. You could literally taste the 30+ hours of labor that went into it. It had that distinct "frothy" texture (the bubble of the bone marrow) that you only find in high-end Hakata shops. It was rich, creamy, and carried a deep umami funk without ever being overly greasy. The Hits * Black Tonkotsu: The roasted garlic oil (mayu) added a smoky, dark complexity that ruined all other garlic ramens for me. * God Fire: For those who like to sweat, this offered the perfect balance of heat without sacrificing the integrity of the pork flavor. * The Karaage: Genuinely some of the best fried chicken in the area. Massive, juicy thigh meat with a shattering, thin crust and that addictive spicy mayo on the side. * Customization: I loved that they let you pick your noodle firmness. "Hard" was the only way to go to ensure that perfect snap with every bite. The Atmosphere The Costa Mesa location always had a great energy--functional, clean, and unpretentious. The staff were always efficient, greeting everyone with a loud "Irasshaimase!" that made the experience feel truly authentic. It's heartbreaking to see such a high-caliber spot leave the neighborhood. If you were lucky enough to eat here, you know we lost a heavy hitter. Its a light creamy and flavorful broth. Not salty. 2. Spicy Tonkotsu x 2 w/ house salmon rolls: I tasted the broth for this and it's spicier than the usual spicy tonkatsu I eat in San Jose. Perfect for my spicy preference. One of the 13yo drank the entire bowl of broth and the other 2 almost finished their broth. 3. Habanero Miso w/ Angry Tail: This was hubby's. The broth is very good but it's too spicy for me to enjoy it. 4. Black Ramen: This bowl was for me. I really like this broth flavor alot but wish it was spicy like the spicy tonkatusu. Overall, all the broths were very rich and well flavored, not salty. The noodles were cooked just right, firm.with a nice crunch when you bite into it. The amount of bean sprouts and wood ear mushrooms was just right. The half soft boil egg was perfect but the 3 slices of char xiu pork could taste better. It was bland and was not soft enough as it did not easily break when you bite into it. As for the sushi rolls, It was pretty decent for the price you are paying to add to your ramen order. The service was good as there was only 2 staff running the floor. They were quick to assist us with more water and napkins. We will definitely return in the future if we are in town and craving ramen/sushi combo.

I made a reservation for the bar (we wanted to do Omakase), and when we arrived at 5:30pm, there was a huge line out the door! Highly recommend a reservation if you do come here. We got seated and our chef's name was Steve. Huge shoutout to Steve, he was incredible, so kind, and provided a wonderful service and experience. We did the 10 piece omakase option and everything was amazing! We also got the Mushroom Miso Soup, Uni Pasta & Pork Belly dish (highly recommend all of these). One more note I wanted to add - from start to finish, the service here was truly wonderful. From our sushi chef, to all of the servers walking around - our waters were always refilled, dirty plates were taken and clean ones were given. Small things that make the entire experience amazing and keep you wanting to come back. Love this spot & can't wait to come again!

Came at 6 and it was empty, but it started to fill up as the hour passed on. Still would recommend reservations especially if you're wanting to sit at the bar. 12 piece Omakase (top) - Good mix of different fishes. The sea bream and uni were the highlights. Tuna otoro & toro (middle left to right) - Best pieces. Super soft and melts in your mouth especially the otoro. Scallop, yellowtail, salmon (bottom left to right) - The plum topping on the scallop was kinda strange. Scallop was good otherwise and so was the yellowtail. I preferred the cherry salmon over the Scottish salmon. The Scottish had a firmer texture.

No more ramen in Yorba Linda anymore! I'm shocked and saddened!…read moreMy family been going there since opening, today we went there for dinner and no OPEN sign was on. When I open the door, inside was dark and furniture all stacked inside. Then realized ramen picture posted was not a menu but MOVED sign. Saw other family came after us and left after reading the sign posted on the door. It was best ramen in Yorba Linda while it lasted.

We were craving some ramen on our way to a friend's ice hockey game in Yorba Linda. We had about a…read more10-15 minute wait which wasn't too bad. Inside seating was limited. Service was quick. Our server wasn't very personable but also not rude or terrible. I felt a little rushed even with a small menu. Being that I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to get so I pretty much just blurted out whatever. What we ordered: 1) Black deluxe chicken paitan with pork - the broth was so tasty, it was absolutely delicious. The pork slices were generous, however, it was DRY. 2) Pork chashu - for my kid. They loved the broth as well and also felt that the pork slices were dry. I wanted to give 4 out of 5 stars, but I am going to hand them a 3. I loved the tasty broth, but the pork was too dry. How could you mess that up as a ramen restaurant? The portions looked a little smaller than what I am used to paying for much less money. That photo of my black deluxe chicken paitan with pork is very deceiving. It looks like a lot, but it definitely wasn't. I usually can't finish my bowl of ramen in one sitting and take the other half home. I barely had any broth in there, and being that the broth was very good, I was disappointed to run out of it before I was even done with the noodles and meat. Would I return? Sure. I liked the food. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but if I was around the neighborhood and wanted ramen, I would dine there again.

All very fresh! Ramen was rich and flavorful. Not too salty not bland, but just right. The pork chasu was tender and fresh. I liked the plentiful topping and the seasoned egg a lot. Takoyaki had a crunch and was soft in the center, just right. Spicy tuna wasn't least bit fishy and was also very fresh. You do need to ask for wasabi and ginger as it did not come with it. The service from our waiter was kind and consistent. We had a great expectant we will definitely be back to enjoy this place again!

The ramen looked decent, vegetables, toppings were okay. But the Chashu was really tough and too fatty. The Karage (fried chicken) looked and tasted like what you would get with fish and chips. I've never had Karage like this before. The table was sticky. The child booster was also sticky. Just felt like things haven't been cleaned in a while. The only redeeming quality were the nice and friendly employees. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back. There's a lot of other ramen restaurants in OC that are way better for the price.
