I was craving poke for lunch today and this was the closest option so I decided to stop by. I've been here a couple of times before but that was a while ago so I couldn't remember how the place was. I really enjoyed my poke bowl but thought the place was overpriced. I got the medium size which was 4 scoops of protein and cost around $14. It includes your choice of base, 2 sides, and as many toppings as you want. This place had a decent amount of toppings to choose from so that was great because some places really lack options. I got white rice, crab and spicy edamame for my sides, and tuna, spicy tuna, and albacore for my proteins. The scoops of fish were on the smaller size (an ice cream scoop size) so that was disappointing for the price. Everything seemed to be really fresh which was good. For toppings I got cucumber, mandarin oranges, carrot, corn, white onion, masago, sesame seeds, and furikake. For my sauce I got a combo of the spicy sauce and the house sauce (which is ponzu) which went really well together. Everything tasted good but the spicy edamame was really spicy and I couldn't finish it because it was burning my mouth so much. Overall I enjoyed my poke bowl but think this place is a bit overpriced for the amount of protein you get. If they lowered the cost by a couple of dollars I think it would be more in line with other poke places. read more

I love Poké. (1) I got a small-sized bowl, which comes with 3 scoops of protein. Medium gets you 4 and Large gets you 5. (2) My base was brown rice and it will most likely will always be brown rice. (3) For my side, I chose seaweed salad. (4) My add-on was cucumber. (5) My protein included spicy tuna, salmon, and albacore. (6) I had the house sauce. (7) My toppings included wasabi and masago (roe). With this combination, I had a very enjoyable meal. There were several counters to eat on and two small round tables. Not only is the fish high quality but all of the sides, easily the best quality of add-ons/toppings like imitation crab and seafood salad that I have had at a poke place. Daughter was craving sushi but had been ranting how good Poke Bowls are. Sushi we love so we hit a search. YA had great reviews so we decided to hit the spot for a Dad Daughter Lunch. The place is very small and kinda hidden. As we walked in we 1st noticed it was extremely clean and the Poke Master (lol) was very polite. We built our bowl with everything fresh you could want all looked great. Price was not bad but everything is expensive right now. Seating was down due to Covid buy we drive home anyways. Stopped here on my way home from work and ordered a large bowl with 5 scoops of fish. Awesome! The server gave me a spoonful of rice equating to under a cup of rice and gave me some green beans which i didn't ask for or like. After seeing the huge amount of fish which I was pleased with I asked for a smidge more of rice which she replied would be extra.. so I said it's fine and would make some rice at home.. If the manager is reading please fill up the base of the bowl with rice like every other poke place.. 3/4th a cup of rice is not enough for 5 scoops of fish. read more

Their spicy tuna tastes weird, & you can only get 2 sides without an additional charge. That's very little to me as I typically get edamame, seaweed salad, & crab. I ordered delivery once, & they were out of salmon, so they only put my other proteins; I had gotten 4 scoops, 2 salmon & 2 spicy tuna. So I only got 2 scoops of weird-tasting spicy tuna. They didn't offer me any partial refund, but they did call me after my order was delivered to offer a free small bowl next time I came in. They did not give it to me, which is fine, but a bit weird. Been coming here for years, since the price was $8.95 and considering the small used to come with 3 protein options but now you pay nearly 2x the price being $14.65 and only get 2 protein options. The size of the fish is also much smaller than before. Obviously accounting for the inflation but it's been on the decline for a few years now. Also switched from white onions to red and sauces seem more watery. Don't come here much as a I used to :( Neighbors have held up well to the price adjustment and fresh fish markets are the same for customers so I can't imagine wholesale/ commercial. Got a small with white rice crab meat and seaweed my protein was salmon and they hook you up there not stingy but I usually go for the spicy tuna but didn't look appealing sorry. I mixed it with carrots,cucumber and jalapeños my sauce ugh I hate that they didn't have eel sauce and i didn't wanna ask, so I got the spicy mayo and the sesame seeds topped with scallions.. so took it home was kind of nervous to try it out but let me tell you that shit was bomb.com definitely will be coming back and maybe try the spicy tuna read more

I'm trying to find a good poke place since my last one went to the dogs, and I've tried this place twice now. The Good: I like some of their more uncommon choices for add-ons/sides (they have tamago and pineapple) and they have octopus as a protein, which is awesome. Service is good. Neutral: They put their base (and side) on the sides, rather than under the fish/extras like most places. Their fish is also small cut. I find them a little skimpy on the sauces, but some people prefer that. (I do suggest you get at least two sauces on the side though.) Prices are average. The Bad: tbh you don't actually get a lot of fish - they use a small-to-medium scooper for each protein choice and it doesn't give you a ton. Also, their fish is a little on the bland side; not bad, but not great either. The second time I went their white rice was overcooked too, and I wish they offered other bases. I did not like their 'house' sauce. The Worst: Their parking lot is a nightmare. Overall the place is underwhelming, though I wouldn't necessarily call it bad. I gave it two tries and won't go back. If I left a review after my first visit it would have been three stars, but the second visit bumped it down to two. read more

Excellent, you get what you pay for and the bargain is good. They have lots of protein choices and toppings for your bowl. My favorite is the unique sauces they have. A good sauce can really make your Poke go to the next level. Prices are around $8 for a big sized bowl and any additional add-on is $1. Very fair! This is a pretty good place to get poke. It's next to Good Pho You. The parking isn't great. You may need to find street parking because their lot is small. The small size was a very good portion. It comes with three scoops of protein. I loved their options. The eating area is pretty small. There's maybe only about 4-5 small tables. The tables are also very close together. The prices are affordable. It's a good place to eat at for something casual with a friend. I wouldn't bring a date here though unless we've been dating for a while and you're comfortable with them. This is the only poke spot I've ever been to so I'm not a poke expert. I've Yelped other spots but none come close to the portions they serve here which is why I keep coming back. I choose the large poke "bowl" (actually a box) because I'm a fatty. I get a scoop of brown rice as my base, followed by two scoops of crabmeat as my sides. Next I get all of the add-ons except the fruit and cilantro options because I think it takes away from the flavor; just my preference. I get five choices of protein so I do two servings of salmon, one scoop of yellowtail, one scoop of tuna and one scoop of spicy tuna. I ask for all of the sauces because I can't choose just one. Lastly, I get all of the toppings because I'm a toppings slut. All of that is about $15. Yeah it's on the pricy side but it's delicious and worth it. Remember to get your rewards card stamped so you can keep coming back. Only thing that sucks about this place is the parking but that's no fault of their own. Bone apple tea! read more

I was really excited to have a poke place to try for lunch today but was disappointed in the quality of the poke. The service was ok and you can tell they were trying to work on their workflow. This place just opened and they were giving away a free water or soda. They give you the option of choosing white rice, brown rice, salad, or half and half. Then you choose your toppings first (which is odd to me) and then you can choose your protein. They give you very small portions. For a small, you get to choose 3 different proteins. I tried the ahi tuna, salmon and yellowtail. And the only sauce options are original, medium, spicy or sweet mayo. The small filled me up and I was perfectly full. The quality of the fish wasn't the best I've had. And the portions were smaller than what I'm used to and toppings/sauce were limited. There's a small parking lot which gets filled up during busy hours. You may have to park on the street. Overall, I would only come back if I'm craving poke for lunch, otherwise I would drive elsewhere for better poke. read more
