First time here! This was my second poke experience but first time at this location. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was very easy to order and quick, so it's great if you're on the go. Definitely would give it a try if you're into sushi with a mixture of greens and rice. So many options! It was my first time at this location so I wasn't sure about the flow of things but the woman working there was extremely kind and helpful. I got a small bowl with salmon and shrimp for my protein, but the portion was HUGE. There are tons of options for each category of building your bowl, and a wide variety of protein options for those who don't like raw fish. First time here was really good. The only thing is they don't offer many toppings for the Poke Bowls like they do at other establishments. I had a good first experience and decided to come back. The food wasn't as good, the iron pans tasted only like pepper. It was so overwhelming. When I called to discuss my order, the person started to doubt what I was saying. The bf and I stopped in for a poke fix since we were in the area. This was our first time coming and the place was pretty modern and clean. Due to COVID, you can't eat inside. A lot of of pick up orders or just order to go. The staff were very friendly. I felt other poke places had more toppings, but I have to say the fish (salmon and tuna) were fresh here which I really appreciate. I've had better ones, the rice was kind or hard and even though we ordered no seaweed salad, ours still had seaweed salad (a LOT of it). Overall 3.5/10. Not terrible but not the best best. Customer service was great; first time going here today and the guy who helped me answered my questions and was friendly. He suggested a sauce combo and I am so glad I went with it! Very delicious and has a nice flavor too it with a good amount of heat. I got Salmon and spicy tuna on my poke bowl and they taste fresh, and there are a variety of toppings. LOVE THIS PLACE. Now, I am not a huge fan of sushi, however this place turned me around. They have all sorts of options form: Raw fish, cooked shrimp, EVEN BULGOGI. I got a sushi burrito (hidden menu). ALSO, they give you leftovers from what didn't fit into your burrito, so you get the best of both worlds! It was absolutely delicious. During covid, they are not allowing dine-in and set up a few tables right infront of the establishment. Order was ready when I arrived, already paid for through their online ordering, -waited in line for about 7-9 minutes while they serve other people in the line -they knew I was there ready to pick up the order, cashier was available to just hand me my order -then after waiting, then they finally gave me what I ordered. I've always enjoyed PokeHub. With the pandemic, I'm cooking at home more and get takeout once a week and it's always PokeHub that I choose. It is easy to order online. There are so many choices for the base (I like kale, or spring mix, or spring mix and brown rice), the add-ins (I like everything except the onions--I got them once and there were too many), the dressings and the toppings (I get them all!). I choose salmon and it is always fresh and delicious. I've taken to writing notes on the order, thanking the employees for doing a good job, getting the order correct, and providing tasty food. I love this poke spot! Definitely one of the better poke locations in the NoVa area. They have such a great variety of bowls and burritos. You can get some fresh fish for a delicious poke bowl OR if raw fish isn't your thing they have bugolgi, shrimp, chicken, as an option, so everyone can enjoy something! PokeHub is great. We've been here a few times and it's been good every time. When you order the sushiburrito, they give you the rest of the fish and Rice on a separate plate with some crunchy chips to eat the rest of the poke mixture. Been here twice already, and I really enjoy the food. They also have beers, bottle and draft. Choices from a seaweed burrito, which they make a small roll, and the rest goes onto the plate with chips, which is amazing. You choose a base for your bowl/roll, White rice, brown rice, or a salad (spring mix, romaine lettuce, or kale) and you mix in all of your toppings. A small bowl gives you two meats, medium 3, and so on. They also have pre-determined mixes for sauces to add and all of them are delicious. Inside looks modern and usually playing country music. Wow. The portions here are generous and the atmosphere is hip/fun. Particularly think that it is unique to have the top protein being mixed separately from the rest of the bowl. I enjoyed the tuna with ponzu + spicy mayo. I would not mix it next time just bc of my preference. I prefer this over all the other poke shops, a good competitor to the block. The portions here are huge!!! I originally tried this spot in Reston, and my bf and I loved it so we were extremely happy that they opened one in fairfax bc it's much closer to where we live. I've been here twice now and the service is always quick and great. The fish is fresh and a large gives you 5 scoops of protein! Some places only give you 3 for a large so I'm more than happy. Food here is good. Scoops of protein are ok. Rice is sometimes undercooked. The music that is playing however doesn't seem appropriate for the place and at times is rather loud. The quantity and quality has gone DOWN HILL. My last few orders have been coming with less and less proteins and almost no sauce even after I had requested extra. The also have been missing at least one item. My last order I ordered crab with extra crab and received none. Also they forgot the ginger and masago.
