Whoever wrote in their review that the boba here is on par with the 626 boba really did me dirty because I disagree. I ordered my go to boba drink, which is the Honey Green Tea. The green tea taste is barely there and tasted borderline watered down. The honey isn't very present either. It's what id expect from a 50% sweet honey green tea. I ordered the drink with boba. On the store menu, they offer only boba but on the UberEats app it lists honey boba as an option. I asked if their boba was honey boba, in which the employee replied yes. Well sadly, the boba was NOT marinaded with honey or if it actually was honey boba, I could barely taste it. I will say that the firmness of the boba is actually really fresh and has a great chewiness to it. I am willing to go back and try a milk tea or a fruit tea with lychee jelly though. read more

The best poke&sushi place in this area. They have large selection of menu I could come here everyday and not get sick of because how large selections of menu they have. The drinks are perfect to go with the food and very nice service. Its a great place to come for lunch and even for a cute date. read more

Came here on a cloudy weekday and was greeted with a loud welcome and smiles from staff. Ordered a medium size poke bowl and poke nachos and both items were generous in portion size and tasty. They offered marinated salmon and tuna poke options which I enjoyed and also served boba drinks! Decor was modern yet comforting and will visit again soon! read more

I came in for the first time after seeing them on TikTok and my poke bowl was so good! The staff are so nice and the food is high quality. If you come during happy hour (3-6pm) you can get a free large drink with any size bowl and it's so a good deal for one person. I'm writing this in store for my second time this week lol please go support this small business it's a wonder to me that more people aren't in! read more

I visited PokeMIX and bought a small bowl. I often go to poke places, but this has to be some of the smallest portion sizes I have ever had. The scoops of fish are more like half scoops compared to everywhere else I've been and the cuts themselves are very small cubes. You can only pick three toppings (including things like sesame seeds and nori). I chose to get masego and you could hardly even see what they put in the bowl bc of how little it was! The fish didn't taste fishy but the marinated tuna was chewy. There was also way too much sauce, but this might have been my fault for adding sauce onto marinated fish (the sauce made a pool at the bottom). Usually I don't leave reviews (especially negative) but I was honestly shocked at the portioning and relative pricing. read more

Good place to grab a quick bite. Came here on a Monday around 2. I love this place! sizing is based off of how many scoops of protein. Medium is a good size. You get to mix and match as well. Because the fish is out all the time, don't expect it to taste great like a real sushi restaurant. Salmon and tuna are best bang for your buck and the sauce does mask the fish flavor. Could be a good thing or a bad thing. read more

We got a poke bowl (not pictured) and the baked salmon roll (pictured). The food was delicious. I didn't give it 5 stars because our food took 3 hours to get to us, when grub hub said it would take 35-45 minutes. Every time we called the restaurant they said our food was getting prepared, and that they're sorry they're backed up. If they just told us how long it would take then I'd give them 5 stars but the delivery service / lying to us about the wait time (3 hours vs 45 min) deserves at least a star knock off. FYI - We called grub hub and they said the restaurant has its own drivers, so the issue was on them, not grub hub. If you're ordering in person or on a not busy time, then it can be a 5 star restaurant. read more

Small portion under the new management. This place use to be really good but the quality seems to deteriorate ever since they had a new management. Found the cutest poke place in Pasadena! Was headed to my salon appointment and randomly yelped a poke place to grab a quick bite. Found this cute place and so glad I did! Ordeded the two large Love Potion drinks: strawberry, passionfruit, white peach tea, and it was so refreshing and delicious! Perfect level of sweet without any adjustment. The large size drink was $5ish which is reasonable price these days for tea. Ordered a medium size poke bowl ($14) and they gave generous amount of protein which I got all salmon and many of the toppings. Poke was very fresh and delicious! I got lucky with street parkings. Parking in Pasadena is always a challenge but if you come timely there are plenty of street parkings. Highly recommend to check out their tea options and fresh poke. They have seatings inside too. I love this place! I have not actually been to the restaurant physically... but have doordash so many times! I wanted to give a review on their service. I basically got home late after a long day at work. I did not have the engery to cook. While being distracted by my bestie's kids who(I live with my bestie) I was placing my order down to the wire. Very solid poke place on Lake that's also a boba shop. I've been coming here for a while now and the food has always been pretty solid. I think the sauces could be on the light side so I make up for that by combing 3-4 sauces when I order. The service here is great. Our questions are answered and the server was very helpful. We also tried the rice ball but in my opinion it was on the blend side and pretty rice-y for a $4 rice ball. All in all I'm glad to have a solid poke place on Lake! read more

Even though there are signs everywhere saying that it takes 15-20 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be cooked, ours came out super quickly, in 5 minutes or so. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get. I'd love to come back to try their other desserts and pancakes!

I couldn't see myself studying or staying too long, which may be for the best since parking is tricky and street parking has a 2 hour limit. An okay experience, but I don't see myself coming back.

For mains we got the House Italian Sausage pizza, the Calabrian Salami pizza, and the Rabbit Bolognese. Both pizzas were great but the Calabrian Salami was definitely our favorite! The honey and spice combo was so good and the crust was perfectly crispy. The Rabbit Bolognese was also incredible, and tasted fresh and light instead of heavy like some bolognese can be. Our waiter gave us the pistachio tiramisu on the house for my mom's birthday, which was such a sweet gesture, and it was delicious! He took great care of us all night and even helped get multiple angles of our group photo haha. Thank you Marina for such a great experience, we will definitely be back :)

I love PokeMix so much. It's so delicious, and I think the portions are very generous. I think people might be getting confused by the large bowl maybe? I've noticed that some Poke places will give you small bowls then fill them up, so it's a little deceiving. I got the medium bowl, which comes with 3 proteins, and found the portion size to be a good amount. I had half rice half veggies, salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna. Let me tell you, their salmon is so freaking good. I found out that their salmon is currently Scottish Salmon, instead of the usual cheaper Atlantic Salmon. I feel like Scottish Salmon literally melts in your mouth. I wish that I didn't get spicy tuna and instead got more salmon! What I really love about PokeMix is how their flavors aren't too strong. Their fish is not covered in overly strong flavors, which I don't like. I have found that places that drench their fish in those types of pastes are trying to hide the low quality, not well taken care of fish. PokeMix is nothing like that. When you look at your fish, you know it's fresh and high quality. The cubes are clearly done by a professional. However, the one thing is their sauces. I personally wouldn't let them put it directly on the poke. I always ask for it in cup on the side so I can dip my salad into it. This place never disappoints! The poke is super fresh and delicious, and wow, look at those portions! I come here every time I crave a poke bowl (which is like every single day lol ) because they have so many topping options to choose from, and the fish is always consistent and high-quality. I love my poke bowl really saucy, and they don't hold back on the sauce! Highly recommend! They have one size rice and the difference is just a proteins for each sizes they have but the one size rice is really enough for one person (even then i couldn't finish so i took it home) and the bowl is based on toppings as well so if you get a lot, it will look full, but if you get less then it will look less. Absolutely LOVE this place! The poke is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and customizable with so many delicious toppings and sauces. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions are generous, and everything is beautifully presented. As for the boba--wow! The drinks are perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the boba is always soft and chewy, never mushy or hard. They have a great selection of flavors, and I love that they offer milk alternatives too. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and welcoming, and the service is quick even during busy times. I really like this place. The food is fresh and very healthy! The main difference here is they don't drench your bowl in crazy sauce concoctions. Medium bowl with 3 proteins of shrimp salmon and spicy tuna is my favorite. Service is always excellent and welcoming. They recently added soft boiled tea eggs.. what a great idea to the already tasty bowl. I usually get the shamrock gold green tea to compliment my meal. Super refreshing. read more

Most poké places I've been too won't do this as an extra step - they'll just drizzle a bunch of sauce that sometimes the dry ingredients gets drenched and soggy. As for the fish itself, the portions are very fair, and the quality is good. They gave a pretty generous amount of avocado as well, which was very fresh, and you do not have to pay extra for it. Rarely do I come across a poké restaurant that does this.

I walked in and was greeted and helped instantly. I was helped by a female staff member with a blond pixie cut (if I remember correctly). I had been walking around in the sun, so when I walked into their store I felt pretty dizzy from the heat, and the board looked blurry to me. Therefore, I didn't even bother to look at the menu board. I told her I would need something quick, and I didn't have the stomach for a Poke Bowl. I asked her if she had any ramen. She kindly walked me through the different types of ramen instead of telling me to look at the menu board. I then picked the udon she mentioned. When she walked to the ramen station to make the udon, I checked whether that would leave me enough time to eat, since I only had 10 to 15 minutes. She said no, the udon would take a while. I asked, what about the ramen? Wouldn't that be quick, just adding water? She answered no, it would take the same amount of time. Then she mentioned the only quick one is the Poke Bowl, and I told her I wasn't feeling Poke at the time. She then gave me two other options, and one was the Spam Musubi. She stated those were premade and a quick bite. She asked how many I wanted. I checked if it came individually wrapped. She confirmed yes and told me the price of each, $3.99, or two for $7. I chose two. She grabbed them for me and rang me up. She asked if I needed chopsticks, and I nodded. I looked at her with a grateful heart and said, "Thank you for your patience." She smiled and said, "You're good." That was very nice of her to take her time with me. I will return and try their Poke Bowl next time. By the way, I cannot fully vouch for the Spam Musubi, because I was starving when I had them. I had been walking around Old Pasadena in the sun for hours with only a Pink Dragon in me. By the time I ate the Spam Musubi, I was starving and in a rush. They did satisfy the hunger. The Spam Musubi are a great choice for something quick, affordable, and easy to eat on the go.
