I'm actually a fan of the Poke they serve here. Tastes very fresh and they give good portions. I come here quite frequently and I have to say, at least 80% of the time I see the same couple of employees scrambling around trying to keep up with all the orders that come through. It seems as if they are trying their best but, it seems way too short staffed. Service is always friendly but may feel rushed just because there's only 2 people even when there's a line wrapping around the dining area. Question to management: Maybe staff more/ hire more people?? You'll also be pleased to know that corporate/management take employee tips. read more

Came here for my lunch break to try out my first sushi burrito. It's basically just like a poke bowl but in a big sushi burrito form. What I like about it is that you can pick your own protein, mix-ins, flavor and toppings. They have so many choices!!! And what I like particularly about this place is that they're not stingy with their scoops of protein portions. I have tried other poké spots within the area and they give such small scoops and you for extra more and they charge you more. I love the serving size!! My boyfriend got full off of half his burrito and I had to save my half for later. Couldn't even finish the large burrito which was only $12.95 with 3 choices of protein. Their fish is fresh and delicious! Couldn't even decide which mix-ins and toppings to get to go with what I have. We also got a free miso soup for checking in on Yelp :D hehe. I am not sure why the reviews are so low here. I have enjoyed my two visits here. The prices for Poke in Bellevue are reasonable and the portion is filling. The quality of the seafood and ingredients is fresh and flavorful. The staff have always been friendly and patient with my lack of creativity when trying to think of what flavors would go together well when building my own bowl. The eatery is fast casual, clean and bright. The interior dining space is small but has several tables to sit at and enjoy your food. Parking is easily available in the Safeway complex. read more

My friend recommended Pokeworks for the price and quantity. The interior is incredibly trendy and cute. The ordering process is straightforward, and you can build your own bowl/burrito or choose one of their combinations. I thought about getting a sushi burrito, but my friend told me there's usually less quantity in a burrito compared to a bowl. For my two protein options, I chose the ahi tuna and the salmon. Both were delicious and they have a good selection of other toppings you can add. The mango, seaweed salad, hijiki seaweed, shredded nori, and blanched kale were my personal favorites! I should've tried the lotus chips--those looked good. I got the ponzu fresh sauce but ended up barely tasting it in the bowl. The ingredients do taste fresh, though. You also get a free miso soup if you check in, but I found the soup to be watery and not very good. If you are light to moderately hungry, I think quantity is just right, and $11 for a medium bowl is cheaper than most other poke places. My biggest gripe was how slow the service was. There were three people working behind the counter and the line basically ended right behind the serving counter, but it took us more than twenty minutes to get our food and pay for it. I felt that they just weren't coordinated in making orders. We went for dinner and I've heard that service is much quicker for the lunch rush, so probably a better time to go then. read more

I don't really do reviews often but I thought this little store deserved one since there were only two people who were working. Both employees were Asian, the guy looked like he was in his early 20's and the girl looked like she was 17. It looked like it was busy when I walked in as they were doing online orders and taking care of a line of customers but they managed to get through the rush in a short time, mainly thanks to the guy taking more than one customer at a time and doing online orders at the same time. He managed to help me as it was my turn and he was polite and helped me decide on what to get as it was my first time being at this store. He offered me their seasonal item and their Umami Ahi, as I'm not much for spicy food I opted for the Umami. As we were going down the line he went over what went with the bowl and even went as far as to offer up some changes that he thought would taste good. Instead of ahi he suggested to do salmon and to torch it, it was the best choice I made to go with what he suggested. As we went down to our mix-ins he went and suggested to have cucumber, sweet onion, edamame, oranges, kale and hijiki seaweed. Following that he went and gave me a medium amount of the Umami sauce for someone who was new to the bowl. For toppings I chose to do green onions, masago, ginger and surimi salad with the crunchy toppings being sesame seeds and crunchy onions. When he was cashing me out he was still polite and asked if I wanted anything to drink or for some miso soup. I felt bad for taking up his time so I just grabbed a drink and told him I didn't want anything else. He rung me up and asked if I wanted a receipt which I accepted and found his name was Jacques. As I was grabbing my food he thanked me for coming in and that he hoped to see me again soon. Overall my experience was amazing and the food equally being amazing and fresh. I went to Pokeworks the other day and had an PHENOMENAL experience! This nice pokeworker named Ella made a delicious poke burrito for me. She had both skill AND confidence in her poke burrito making skills and recommend the shrimp to me. I was a little thrown of by her suggestion, as this is a POKE restaurant, not a boiled shrimp one, but I went with it because I didn't know what I wanted. After choosing the shrimp, I asked ella which "mix-ins" I should choose and she recommended what she calls "the classic": cucumbers, onions, and edamame. This classic combination had the perfect balance of freshness, crunch, and flavor! For the sauce Ella said that the siracha aioli is fire, but since i'm a i decided to get the pokeworks classic to go along with "the classic" mix ins. This review is getting pretty long, and you're probably tired of reading, but unfortunately, we still have toppings and crunchies left. PLEASE STAY THOUGH!!!!! I decided to choose my own toppings because I didn't want to annoy Ella too much. I went with the avocado, which was $1.50 extra (ELLA MADE SURE TO LET ME KNOW), the seaweed salad, surimi salad, and green onions. Finally, we arrived at the crunchies. I picked tue onion crisps and sesame seeds, and they really finished off the poke "look". After carefully placing the crunchies on my beautiful poke burrito, Ella skillfully rolled her masterpiece and asked me if I wanted any sides or a drink. Although I was tempted, to give in and order a spam musubi and tractor beverage, I controlled myself and didn't give in to her manipulation. After attempting to employ sales tactics on me, Ella made a precise diagonal cut along my burrito revealing the vibrant contents inside. It was quite a moment for the both of us. Anyways, after that moment, Ella rung me up on a fancy iPad and I gave her a juicy 20% tip! She is undoubtedly the most welcoming pokeworker at Pokeworks. Had an amazing time here, I was served immediately when I walked in by one of the employees, his name was Jacques as that was what was on his nametag. He had glasses and was wearing a black polo uniform. Couldn't see much else sine he wore a hat and a mask, but he was super nice and helped me decide on what to get. He offered me either the Seoul Poke or the Spicy Ahi since I was in a spicy kind of mood. I watched as he made my bowl and saw how he nicely put it all together. He made recommendations on what toppings I should get and he let me know what cost extra and what he liked. After he made the bowl he asked me if I wanted anything else and I got a drink and miso soup. He told me he could turn it into a combo so that I could save money and I really appreciated that he took the time to do that for me. Sushi. Burritos. That's it. So, I've heard of sushi and I'm familiar with burritos but this was the first place I'd heard of the two being a twosome. This little location of Pokeworks is right in front of Bellevue mall. You can't eat in but you can enjoy your food outside on the little tables set up outside of the stand. Back to the sushi burritos. I was, admittedly, skeptical as I was picturing sushi being plopped inside a giant tortilla and figured it could, either, be a very good or a very bad thing. I decided to chance it. It's, actually, wrapped in what looks like a giant sheet of seaweed and is super tasty! They give you a lot of options, a la subway cafeteria line style, where you choose your rice, protein, mix-ins, and toppings. Just think of a giant sushi roll that you can eat with two hands. They, also, have those really tasty Hawaiian Sun drinks that go, perfectly, with the sushi. I've had the bowls and they're tasty but can't beat the burritos in a contest for my preference. I docked them a star because their order accuracy can be a little hit or miss and their high prices make me tear up, a little. Just had dinner here while on a family vacation and it was awesome! The staff was great, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh. I even ordered from them via Uber Eats multiple times because I was craving it so much ! Consistency is important. The food here is good but it is so frustrating when you pay the 2.50$ extra for a "large" and the person behind you in line somehow gets more meat with their "regular" because it's a different person serving them. This has happened more times than not. Granted, I have benefited from this a time or two. I just want to know what I'm paying for and have some sort of consistency. The facility is nice and clean yet still rather trendy just like any other poke place that has popped up around town. Its easy accessible location with parking nearby but the quality of the food itself is rather lacking. I created my own bowl for $10.50. The two scoops of spicy tuna was rather small scoops. The toppings were abundant but the sushi rice itself was mushy and soggy. It really ruined the rest of everything else. The staff seemed nice and friendly... but really the food itself is nothing to rave about. There are better options if you are willing to travel. For some they may like this new age style poke but i still enjoy old school traditional poke which is seasoned/marinated fish and rice with a side of seaweed... no need all the extra frills, just quality fish and well made rice. read more

I arrived at the location with two other individuals and the venue was empty with several employees behind the counter. They were having conversations amongst themselves and barely gave us eye contact to ask what we wanted. They'd just stand at a station and wait until we said we wanted a certain item then have us repeat it several times. When checking out I had to ask for a drink 4x's and when I got my receipt and signed. I asked for a cup and the employee asked if I wanted a drink because he didn't charge me for it. WTF?
