I can't express how much I love poke. I really like that this place offers unique toppings and the option for a sushi burrito. However, for some reason this place just tastes slightly off? I'm not sure what it is. Additionally, since the pandemic began, I have gone in to see the same employee working with her nose hanging out of her mask. The first time I saw this, I mentioned to one of the other workers that all noses need to be covered to be effective. To my surprise the next time I came back the same employee had her nose out. We were craving some sushi but wanted something different and this popped up and we were open to try it. We decided to order online and pick it up and the total time was like 30 min. That's cool they were busy and you expect it when a place is busy. Got there in 30 min and I walked in to pay for order and it was not ready. No biggie but annoying zone they didn't know what I was asking for. A couple things that I want impressed with: 3-4 people trying to make the burritos or bowls and they are jumping around running in back touching screens and building the burrito. I don't care but just wouldn't want to go back. Something about toxic the screen then wrapping my burrito doesn't settle well with me. Pros: We got back home and the food tasting good. Ingrediants were pretty spot on in all that craziness so I give the team credit for working hard and doing there best. Team was friendly and working quick to accommodate all customers. Wearing masks, changing gloves, and keeping only 5 customers inside at once. They put a good amount of ingrediants, didn't feel like it was too little. Tips: The burrito was soggy so maybe get all sauce on side if driving back to eat it. The wax wrapping was pretty soggy and stuck to burrito but still managed to peel it off. Hands down the best poke spot in Glendale! I'm a big poke fan and usually drive all the way to Studio City for a good, fresh bowl of poke. But now I don't have to! Fish -- The guys who work there said it gets delivered daily and you can definitely taste how fresh it is. Nothing was gross and rubbery. And nothing tasted or smelled fishy (does that make sense?) Sauces -- OMG the sauces were soooo good. Def try the chili lime and the garlic ponzu! Rice -- I got a bowl with brown rice which was just perfect.
