I expected too much. It was your a average americanized poke spot. The salmon, sweet salmon, and tuna looked like they had been sitting there all day but still edible. They had a good amount of options for toppings and sauces but I felt like I was getting a regular poke bowl wrapped in a burrito instead of a real sushrito experience. I was getting some stuff at Off The Leash (which by the way I also recommend that pet store!) I was on a time crunch and wanted some food. I decided to get some Poke. I was immediately greeted by the employees and one of them immediately stopped fulfilling the online order and took my order. He was very friendly, kept asking me what I wanted and my bowl was very big. I was shocked on how well the employees were on it and so friendly. The poke was delicious! I tried Pokitomik for the first time today & it was so good. The flavors were on point although I wish i had added more which I will do next time. The portion was great - I ate the entire thing which i didn't expect to do so because based on reviews some said they had to take the second half home for later. I got a burrito with white rice, tuna & salmon for protein, seaweed salad, crab meat, masago, ginger, garlic ponzu, lime, & hot Cheetos. I placed an order for pickup & it took less that 15 minutes which was wonderful. 5/5 for bomb food, 5/5 for service, and 5/5 for cleanness of the facility. Just be wary of who might be serving your food. Had a new guy who gave ridiculously small fish portions and proceeded to overload the bowl in toppings and a disgusting amount of eel sauce and additional sauces. Even after asking to "please go light on the sauce" he will absolutely drench your bowl in sauce so you must command him to stop or else you will be having a sauce bowl soup with a small side of fish. read more

This is literally my favorite poke place now! The owner is helpful and friendly, the staff is excellent, and the food is fresh and tasty... the best part really is their sauces. So fresh, made in house, and unlike any place I've been to before. I was searching for a new favorite when I moved to the valley and found them, then I found out their original location is in Glendale close to my work. I am STOKED! They'll be seeing me a lot. I initially came here after seeing their sushirritos all over Instagram and wanted to give it a try. It's a small little place in Glendale, but I was VERY impressed by how delicious it was. You have the option of getting a poke bowl, burrito, or taco. I decided to get their hot cheeto burrito with salmon. Their jalapeño cream cheese sauce is delicious too, so make sure to add that inside of your burrito. Have most all of the same topings you would find at a traditional poke place, but offer a modern twist with their cheeto crumbs outside the burrito as well as with their taco shells which are made out of a jicama. I was pretty hungry but half of the burrito made me full, and I was able to take the other half home and ate it the next day (and it was just as tasty tbh). The staff is very nice and welcoming, and I think it was one of the owners who helped us and chatted with us while we were there (very sweet guy, shout-out to Sako- I hope I spelled that correctly). Will definitely be back to try out their tacos, as should everyone else! .. This review is solely on the poke burrito. The flavors were good like most typical poke and we even got a Bowl of poke to compare (not pictured). The burrito was entirely too messy for us to enjoy. We took it to-go and drove half a block away to a park and in that time alone the burrito was falling apart when we unwrapped it because the rice was stuck to the paper. I would recommend the bowl over the burrito any day. The coffee macaroon was the best part of our order for sure! read more

This is NOT it. My gf found this place and ordered take out from here (assuming it caught her attention from pics). When I saw it I was a bit confused. It was a sushi burrito with hot Cheetos; tacos using thinly sliced radish as the "shell". I saw the menu (afterwards) and they aim for poke Asian fusion. Yeah, no, this does not work. I'm sorry but the whole hot Cheetos on food (and especially on raw fish) has got to stop. Flavors didn't match at all and wasn't very appetizing. The taco was too watery and missed the component you look for in a taco. Didn't finish the food. This whole fusion is just confusing and a mess. And I wouldn't call it poke either. read more

I decided to try this place out because I thought the idea of a poke burrito was unique and interesting. It was my first time going there and it was a bit quiet walking in. The location is in the middle of an alleyway off of Brand where the Home Goods and the Vegas Buffet are. There were two people working when I came in. The girl who made my burrito said that she was recently hired and still training. I felt like I threw her off the deep end by ordering the burrito, and it took some time to put it all together (partly because of her unfamiliarity with making the burrito and partly because I am indecisive). She needed help rolling the burrito, but in the end, the burrito turned out great! It was super flavorful and just the right amount of spicy (shout out to the sweet salmon and spicy crab). A lot of poke places I go to lacked the powerful flavor that this place had, but the way the burrito came together was *chef's kiss* Unfortunately, I forgot to get the girl's name, but I'm hoping the details of my experience gets to her because she did a great job, especially considering she's new! She told me that she'd roll the burrito the next time I go, and I might just take her up on that. :) read more

However when I think of sushi, I expect a certain level of quality in the ingredients itself. For the burrito, I suggest a combo of rice and salad as base so as to avoid too much carbs.
