Came here with my partner during our lunch hour on a Monday. There was plenty of parking as it's in a large plaza with numerous other businesses. The inside is small, with about 4 2-person tables. The ambiance is bright and inviting. One of the employees greeted us immediately. Both employees who ended up helping us were very friendly. I decided to get a regular bowl. I tried their new Trinity tuna and decided to get it because it was delicious. For the base, I got their cilantro rice. I got spicy crab mix, spicy soy sauce, corn, edamame, cucumber, green onions, seaweed salad, crispy onions, crispy garlic, nori, sesame seeds, wasabi cream, and spicy mayo. It was a great size bowl and worth the price. Something to note is that unlike other poke spots, the toppings are not unlimited and are capped depending on the size of bowl you order. But all the ingredients were extremely fresh and everything tasted great. I was able to finish the whole bowl but I did slow down at the end. Will definitely be back to get the same exact bowl too!

I cannot tell you how fast I demolished this spicy Cheeto burrito! The owner is so friendly he helped me figure out exactly what to order with my gluten allergy! The ingredients were fresh, mouthwatering and the jalapeño cream cheese on the side was perfect to dip the burrito in. I don't live in the area but I'm driving back asap to get another one. The order: Spicy Cheeto Burrito with white rice, salmon, spicy tuna, avocado, cilantro, edamame, red onion, ginger, furikake, spicy mayo inside and jalapeño cream cheese on the side. 100% recommend!!

Nope. Not it. Heavy handed with the sauces. I can't really speak on the freshness of the establishment because I continued with my purchase, against my better judgment. The place seems fast-foodie and not the "fresh poke-style" you'd expect. We're in SoCal, do better. We ordered a large and it was so saucy! Without adding anything extra. Very tart and the rice was hard. Super disappointing. Leaving behind more than half a plate sucks!

Phenomenal Poke! This joint shares parking with other businesses but finding a spot was pretty manageable around lunch time on a Friday. There was practically no one here so I was in and out with regular bowl within 5 minutes or so! There are some tables inside and none outside. The staff seemed real chill, informative and quick! I liked all the ingredients Pokitomik offers. I try to get as creative as possible and have a good blend of citrus, sesame, umami, spicy, crunchy, and creamy. Some of my favorite components were the masago,furikake, spicy mayo, and it's unique hot Cheetos crumbs. The portion size is pretty generous.

Mostly very friendly people. I was running late to tell them I would be there as soon as possible to pick-up by takeout order. The guy who took my call told me that my order had already been picked up by a lady. Huh? So, I told him I knew nothing of that and would be there in 10 minutes to pick-up my order. He seemed a little annoyed. I apologized for any issues or whatever and he was like...."yeah" and hung up. The food was just okay. I went back one more time but it's not really that good. We went to Pokitomik for lunch and we loved it. The servers behind the counter are extremely accommodating, explaining all of the different variations of dishes. The combinations are endless. I had the sushi burrito and my kids had the bowl and we shared a few poki tacos. Very healthy and clean eating. There are so many combinations that it would be impossible not to find something that you'd love to eat. We'll definitely be going back to Pokitomik. read more

OK I had to give it a shot! I was a little skeptical with the whole Doritos thing but it's a pretty tasty spin on poke... I did stick with a normal bowl without the Doritos toppings and just that alone was magnificent. Able to do half lettuce and half rice as a base really fresh tuna and crunchy vegetable toppings with a lot of choices made this a good option for a quick health meal. The tacos are under four dollars apiece the bowls are under $15 and the burritos are just over $12 Extremely feeling reasonably priced it was really fresh it was the first day however so I would hope it was fresh lol Friendly staff not what you expect and there's no seating inside you have to take your food out. However I was so hungry I didn't mind eating in the car right there. I actually like this place better than the other poke place in Thousand Oaks it has more options. However not sure which one give a bigger portion since I don't eat a lot it's not really something I pay attention to. (This place may have smaller portions though) I ended up really full and happy so will definitely come back read more

We can't comment on how the food tastes because we walked out before trying it. I had been anxious to try this place for a few months and finally convinced my wife to go with me. We walked in to the most pungent smell of floor cleaner or other cleaning product. It was over powering and we were wearing masks. That combined with the prices. We were surprised to see the price of a regular bowl was $15.75. Maybe it was the fumes causing me to think it was a little too pricey. Either way, will most likely not be able to go back to sample the actual food. read more

A truly excellent experience (and please know that I am not one who showers empty praise). The couple who run (I assume own) this venue really go out of their way to please their customers. That in itself can be a rarity today. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. As other reviewers have said, the portions are generous and the variety is really excellent. Finally, in an age where simple meals can require a small loan - this was well worth the cost. I don't often say (or mean) that this is somewhere I'll go again. But, as my wife likes poke, I suspect we'll be repeat customers. read more

Yum! I had been looking forward to getting lunch here and finally did today! Both my friend and I LOVED it!! I'm not sure why others believe that the fish isn't fresh or high quality because I thought it was. I dine at a lot of high end establishments and have the elevated pallet to know what's good or not. I thought my bowl was fantastic! Remember to be patient when you're walking into a barely 1 year old restaurant who's going through the growing pains. Also, don't leave a bad review after one bad experience especially if you've already been going there. Take the time to leave some positive feedback instead. So glad to have another regular lunch option that's healthy, tasty and fulfilling. read more

It gave it a delicious crunch with a perfectly cooked soft interior. We shared the sunset and poke rolls which were delicious, and got several nigiri pieces which all absolutely melted in our mouths. Stephanie was a fantastic waitress! She made several recommendations about the "additions" to put on the nigiri pieces - house made soy sauce, garlic ponzu, and lime zest. She even spoke up and offered an alternative suggestion to what we initially asked for telling us what the truly best pairings were for each fish. We SO appreciated her knowledge and care to make it the best experience for us! Q Sushi will become a staple whenever I'm back visiting the Thousand Oaks area!

For a moment we had the feeling that the evening would be great. The place looked very clean and even a little bit glamorous, so we thought we had chosen a really good spot. Unfortunately, our impressions changed as soon as we started ordering. We ordered a salad, a sushi roll, and monkfish liver. The monkfish liver tasted so "authentic" that it felt like it had just been taken straight out of a can. It definitely did not taste like something that had been prepared in that kitchen. From the beginning to the end of our visit, we never received water. When we asked for wasabi and ginger, the waitress told us that they would bring it when the sushi arrived. We repeated our request for ginger, but the answer was exactly the same. When the roll finally arrived, it looked like someone might have started eating it yesterday and they simply decided to give it another chance today. It wasn't really sliced so much as it was spread across the plate. On the very edge of the plate there was a tiny bit of ginger and a tiny bit of wasabi. Both looked like they might have been borrowed from someone else's plate. When I looked at the waitress questioningly, she explained that if we wanted more wasabi and ginger, we could pay extra and they would bring more. I checked the rating later and somehow it has four stars. I'm giving it two stars -- and only because the sushi chef was very polite when we arrived and the place was clean inside.

The establishment is kind of hidden in the corner next to the shell gas station and there is ample parking. As I was walking towards the front, I see a sign stating that they have a happy hour starting at 1 o'clock and it was 1259 so I was very excited to see what this look like especially for it being my first time here. This meant that I get to try a lot of new things and a lot more things. There is about 10 to 15 tables inside with different amounts of seating and since it was just my boyfriend and I and the lady gave us the choice to sit wherever then we chose a table with two seats but, had us move to the next one because she said that the two seat ones were for single people, especially because it was lunchtime. She refused to let us sit at the two person table ‍. We got several menus and a pencil with an ordering paper. She took our drink order and we started to explore the vast menu and it all looked great! (I love when they have pictures on the menu apart from descriptions) After she brought us waters, I asked her if the special menu was considered the happy hour menu and she said it's not happy hour yet and I said yes it is 1 o'clock and she looked at my boyfriends clock on his phone and apologized and brought the happy hour menu. I included the receipt so you can see that 4/5 rolls were happy hour pricing. The sushi chefs were 2 Hispanic men and the reason why I mention this was because I feel like most of my rolls had this "chili powder" that resembled Tajin on my rolls and that's what they called "spicy" half my rolls were supposed to be spicy tuna but the tuna itself was not spicy they just had this Tajin-like powder on top and to me it wasn't spicy at all and I also felt like it made those 2/3 rolls taste bland. My bf loves deep fried rolls so he opted to try the magic mtn and he loved it and I think I enjoyed the spider roll the most. Even the spicy tuna on the crispy rice was just regular tuna with no spice. We still thought it tasted good but we will maybe give it another try with different rolls next time. They have a punch card if you spend $50+ after I think 10 you get a free speciality roll. The chefs gave us a parting remark and we thanked them upon leaving for lunch. Our server was a little more cold but kudos to her for handling the whole restaurant by herself in an efficient manner as our food came out quick and we got water refills and she checked in on us while serving 5/6 other tables all by herself.

I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. They got a variety of ice creams, some common ones but also some new ones. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

The flavor of the actual ice cream is perfect and I like that there's NOTHING else, no chocolate chip, no "ribbon" of cherry, and no mix of vanilla. I never thought it was possible for me to have an absolute favorite ice cream. I have been back many times since and haven't tried any of the other flavors. I've tried the black cherry on the cake cone and sugar cone. I'll probably get it in a dish! Probably the waffle bowl too! I will keep coming back!!! I visit this location every week. I have a severe salmon allergy and it's hard for me to find a place that serves poke where I won't possibly have a reaction. I found my place at this location for sure! The employees (especially Alexa) take such unbelievable care to ensure there is no cross-contamination.
