I am still waiting for that to happen. It keeps getting pushed back. It is the weather or we live too far out. We did not live too far out when they took the job. The last I was told is they will be out Monday, July 27. My items have been sitting on my deck for 3 weeks now. I would like to enjoy my new back yard. Brandon, the salesman, was great. The workers did a good job, and the job supervisor was nice. We had another estimate and we went with Rock and Block because we felt we were getting more for our money. I just want my job completed. I do not understand why it is taking so long to finish it.

He had one of his guys come out within 3 days of my review and repair all of the boards that were warped. He screwed all four boards together, used multiple stakes on each side (instead of just two originally), and even set the corners into concrete so they wouldn't come up again. We explained that we wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space that felt clean, modern, and sophisticated. About a week later, Evan sent us a design image created by their in-house designer. Evan was also the one who recommended the white decorative rock, which makes the patio feel brighter and more spacious, as well as the gray multicolored pavers for the area where we planned to install our pergola. We happened to have very similar tastes, but more than anything, we were truly impressed by his excellent sense of design. His recommendations helped bring our vision to life. The project was originally scheduled to take three days, but the entire job was completed in just a day and a half! The entire crew was incredibly professional. They worked with incredible speed and efficiency, and the finished work was absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed by Nicco, the manager, and the entire crew. Watching them work so hard in the intense heat, with such dedication and professionalism, truly made us appreciate their efforts. We also received estimates from three other companies. The other companies told us that a design image would cost $500, but this company provided ours free of charge. We were also told by other companies that we would need additional drainage pipes. After carefully examining our patio area, Evan confidently told us that they were not necessary, which helped us avoid an unnecessary expense. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They sincerely listened to our wishes and questions and gave us honest, professional advice. Because of that, we felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. Now, one of our favorite things to do is simply look at our patio throughout the day. It has a different beauty in the morning, during the day, and at night, and we truly enjoy seeing how it changes with the light. We are incredibly grateful to Evan, Nicco, and the entire team. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful space for us! The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

We had an awful experience with another company and were really worried about finding someone honest and reputable. We saw a friend's yard and we were so impressed that we asked for details on which company did the work. We spoke with Kalian at Advantage based on the recommendation and we were immediately impressed with her knowledge and kindness. We met with Ken the following week and he walked the property with me making suggestions. Ken definitely has a great eye for landscaping. Matt was also great, helping us on a daily basis with the logistics and giving his opinion on how to make the area shine. His prices were within reason for the scope of the project (unlike the other company we had hired, whose project/contract price was almost 3 times the estimate of the project AFTER we paid the deposit). The final result was incredible, but what really stood out was the entire experience working with Advantage. They truly listened to what we wanted, took our ideas seriously, and also brought their own creative vision and expertise to the project. The team went above and beyond to help us make our entire yard perfect, paying attention to every detail and making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Paco is not the ideal small business owner I'd recommend to anyone…read more I contacted him to replace my irrigation valve on Saturday 07/04/26, while the initial conversation was cordial, the end result wasn't (07/06/26). We set a date (07/06/26) for the replacement and what I thought was a fair negotiated price ($250), it really ended not being a fair price at all. Paco initially wanted $280, I negotiated with him to $250. Even at $250 he was higher than all others by $50-$100 more. I asked him if I could use my credit card, he said yes but there would be 4% surcharge. I didn't agree with that, so I asked if he could wave that, he reluctantly agreed. So, date and price was set. Come Monday 07/06/26, he claims his credit card service isn't working, so I agreed to a Zelle payment. Our appointment was for Monday (07/06/26 at 11:30; not only did his credit card service not work according to him, but he continued to change his arrival time. He texted me he was running behind on 07/06/26 and now would arrive no later than 12:30. By this time I'm seeing many red flags. I called him @ 11:46 on 07/06/26 to verify with him that he would arrive no later than 12:30 and was still intact. While confirming his 12:30 time, now he tells me 1 O'clock and blames me for his late arrival because I called to verify the time. During our conversation on the phone he kept interrupting me, talking over me, telling me I was upset that I couldn't use my credit card (furthest from the truth), and that I set the price for the job and so forth. I told him, I no longer needed his services, he was rude and not accommodating or respectful of my time and needs. Who wants to invite someone to their home after a terrible text and phone conversation, NO THANK YOU! To say the least, he wasn't given the job. Be careful who you hire people.

UPDATES TO COME: Pools R Us is hands down the best pool builder in town. If you are looking to get a pool I highly, HIGHLY recommend this company. I researched pool builders for over 8 months and had more than 15 different companies give me designs and quotes. Most of these were big name companies that have been around for a long time. I was actually very close to choosing one of these companies before I stumbled across Pools R Us. When I first came across them, I didn't have high expectations because I had never heard of them. I am so glad I decided to call them before getting into contract with a different company! I have a very unique yard which requires raising the elevation of my property to build a pool. Clay and Greg came up with an incredible design that way outdid what the other big name companies came up with. Again, I had over 15 companies come out and give me designs. All of those companies had a very similar design. Pools R Us was the ONLY company that got creative and actually custom designed a pool to fit my unique yard. With the amount of research/creativity that Greg put into my design, he was able to come up with ways to cut costs as well. Finding the right pool builder is tough these days. We contacted several companies. Finding someone who actually followed through was a challenge. Then we called Pools "R" Us. From the first phone call, we felt a difference in a good way. Ben came out and really listened to our needs and wants. He came back with renderings that were spot on. Even though we didn't start the process right away, Ben stayed in touch and was ready to go when we were. They started the excavation on Jan 20, 2022, and we were swimming in our beautiful pool at the beginning of May - That is only a short 3.5 months to complete. Ben has guided us every step of the way. He has handled every question or concern in a timely and efficient manner - mind you, we have never had a pool before, so there were LOTS of questions! HIGHLY RECOMMEND POOLS R US IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUILD A POOL :) We shopped around and spoke to several builders and went with Pools r Us . From the beginning, by far they stood out in Profesionalism and Service ! The design and build process was as seemless and as straightforward as one could ever imagine ! Our pool was done in 60 days! From starting our dig to filling with water . All trades were very clean, in sync, and respectful ! The whole process along the way, step by step, was constantly being communicated by Ben! Got estimate on Tuesday and they started on Thursday when 4 other companys said it would be mid July before they could start and would take two weeks. They started removing plaster on Thursday did tile on Friday and plastered on Following Tuesday because Monday was Memorial Day starting filling pool by noon on Tuesday they also replace 2 pool lights that were blown out with new seals and bulbs. They were the lowest bid and the absolute best they cleaned up after each faze.Made the other companys look bad pool is beautiful coiuld not ask for anything better. Thanks Chuck and Greg I will be refuring you to some of my neighbors This was a large pool 16 x44 and 10 foot deep .Cost $5000.00 with money I saved had 6 palm trees cut down that were 30 foot high and making a mess out of my pool . Greg has been servicing my pool for almost 10 years now. He has always been reliable and extremely knowledgeable about my pool. He has fixed many of small issues before they became big ones. He has always kept me up to date with what is going on with my pool and any maintenance issues. He has kept my pool running efficiently and he lets me know any adjustments that he is making do the seasons and the weather change. I have also seen him cleaning my pool in the rain. Greg is friendly and reliable I'm glad he was recommended to me 10 years ago. My pool still looks great and runs even better. He has upgraded most of the pool equipment with more efficient equipment. My wife and I would say Pools R Us are the best pool company hands down! Now this was the first time my wife and I have worked with them, but the professionalism and integrity was very refreshing. Not to mention great customer service. This was our first in ground pool we ever had built. They told us upfront from the beginning that it may take longer than usual cause of the global supply chain issues and COVID. Working with Cody, Ben, and Chuck was a great experience. After the timely completion of pool replaster with Pebble Fusion, tile replacement, and a complete redecking, Matt, Luis did a wonderful job and also kept to the schedule they promised us. Ben, Matt, and Luis also took the time to ensure my wives color and tile choices were picked with great patience by these 3 guys. My wife and I found Pools R Us online and, shortly thereafter, arranged for a meeting with Clay, one of their designers. Clay explained everything to us -- upgrades and features and other pool-related issues that we'd never considered. He created a design that was exactly what we desired, then committed that the project would be completed by a certain date. By that date, we were swimming in our new pool and have enjoyed every minute of it. We give Clay and the rest of the Pools R Us team extremely high marks for their attention to detail and their determination to perform their tasks at the highest level. We gave Pools R Us a 5-star rating and it came up as great. It is beyond great, it is Superior. We came from California and initially were disenchanted with pool estimates. Pools R Us came highly recommendEd and we weren't disappointed with our choice. We went with a "spool", bigger than a spa and smaller than a pool. We enjoy it in the winter with the heater on and in the summer to cool off. We had a pool in California that we didn't use as often. Not sure how many times we can say we "Love it". Pools R Us hands down are the best in town! From the moment I made the phone call for an estimate to the last drop of water that went into the pool, communication was there! These guys are on it! Very knowledgeable of everything in that field of work. Shout out to Ben! He was there from the start, and thank him for everything. First off he would come out on the hour that worked for ME "which is rare", even if it was his day off. Had a great experience with Pools R Us. They were the most attentive to our wants during the design process. Clay, Ben, Greg and Chuck all executed as they promised thru the entire build process even though we had to wait an extra 12 days for for the electrical stage because we were told that some materials/products such as the pool lights were back ordered and were being delaysd from slow manufacturing lingering from the pandemic. I feel that based on the outstanding service, this company and their representative deserves all the praise entitled. Unfortunately, many variables (cost and multiple individual projects) led us to choose another company. In searching for a residential pool build with a design in mind for our new Las Vegas home, we cast a large net using Yelp and personal references to 'interview' for this project. On first contact, we informed Crystal of BYOP that we were shopping around for the best builder to make our dream come true. Without going into minute details, we only wish to say that from the initial contact, we were met with friendly professionalism and a desire to make our dreams come true. Crystal was able to take our conceptual design and come up with exactly what it was we wanted and answer any questions we had regarding any aspect of this proposal project. Her communication was always cordial and without delay. Ultimately, the one stop shop approach turned to a contractor/builder situation to save costs for another project. Had funds been unlimited, it would be another story. He listened to what I needed and bid accd. to that. He had no problem running my project thru the HOA. The quote was very clear, detailed in project steps and payment schedule. And relative to the project scope the price was reasonable. Stayed in communication thru out the job, and made sure everything was completed as quoted. And all the office and LP&S workers were outstanding. Shannon responded to my questions and was always ready to help. Scott, Mike... the tilers- all of the support team were personable, responsible, respectful of property and a pleasure to interact with. I could not end my review without saying that Juan, the Waterfall remodeler was a true artisan. Wow! Really he rebuilt, sealed, painted and modeled the material to look like real rocks and so that the waterfall flow perform much better. It's beautiful. I could not be more pleased with this entire process. LP&S are the best. I would not hesitate to use them again.
