Took my 1965 Ford Mustang to this shop to get the gas line / fuel pump repaired and carburador fixed. They placed a rubber tube that was not fuel resistant and called it good. Was in the shop for 3 almost 4 months with false promises that it would be fixed. once we got the car back and 5,000 dollars later, no more than a week later the car was leaking gasoline. Problem was not solved. The car has not been able to hit the road since. Very dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend anyone go to this shop unless they want to get the car back and work on it yourselves after giving away money. read more

Stopped in for an alignment and tune up for my 2017 toyota Avalon today. Sam, the shop owner, was super friendly and informative. He answered all my questions and told me some of the services I thought I needed wasn't necessary. I appreciate that he could've made some extra cash from me but was honest and educational. Services came in less than expected, too. I've been looking for a go-to autoshop for my vehicle repairs and maintenance - and based off this visit, it looks like I finally found it. This shop sells vehicles on offerup through the mechanics, they sold me a vehicle claiming nothing is wrong after they did a diagnostic. After taking it to another shop turns out the car has an engine problem and they claim nothing was wrong and say everything is as is These guys are either liars or bad mechanics, take your pick. read more

My wife and I were at Las Vegas this past weekend and our car decided to have a fuel pump problem. Stuck at our hotel about 250+ miles away from home, we didn't know what to do at the moment. I was speaking to a friend of mine who recommended Pop's Automotive because he knew the owners. I called them on a SUNDAY and they answered. Within a hour, the owner came to the hotel and started my car, he found the fuel pump for me and he opened up his shop to fix my car. Within three hours, my car was fixed and we were back on track. I wish I could recommend this shop. They talk a great game, super friendly... but as an aviation mech and longtime Import car owner/maintainer I'd strongly suggest you look elsewhere. I have been charged as much as 3 times RETAIL on parts (they lie about parts sources) and they have damaged/broken items during repairs, blamed the car and then charged to replace said item(s), but at least they take forever to do it. Really sad, seemed like nice folks, but price gouging and lack of skilled shop help is a truly frustrating and disappointing combination. I tried twice, both times same issue- and my friend who recommended them at first, has now had same problems... and no longer does. Beware! Additional info- friend's son just dropped car off to me (2000 Audi) and nothing they diagnosed and charged me for fixed what it was brought in for!!! I am in shock. Go ANYWHERE but Pops. read more

I have had numerous cars repaired by Adam/Sam -repairs were varied between reviving my 1966 Chevelle with major repairs, brakes to a full engine replacement. I don't usually write reviews unless I receive great service. I have been treated very well here. These guys are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Prices have always been fair. had my truck towed to them for a start and die problem that i did not have time to fix myself, which I knew what the issue was. The truck was there two days and they told me they fixed the problem and it was running great. I paid them $500 for the repair and scheduled the tow truck to pick it up the next day. When the tow truck got there the shop said they could not access my truck for him to tow. I called Pop's automotive and they said yes that was the problem but the cars where moved now and the tow truck can get it now but the tow truck company said not now maybe tomorrow. I called the shop the next morning and got no answer, so i took off from work to go down there. I found out real quick my truck was not fixed like they said it was. It still was starting up and dyeing. I told them to just fix the truck like they said they had done. They told me they would and that they would call me. I never heard no word from them, so I called them again and they said they would call me back. Still no phone call from them so Wednesday I called again and finally spoke to Sam who assured me his guys would get on it and he would call me back. Friday night still no word from them, so I called again and was told Sam would call me back. No word from them so when I called them back I told them I and the tow truck would be there in the morning to get it. I now have to do the repair myself and I am out $100 tow each way and $500 for the supposed repair. Pop's Automotive is A Sham and scam and I wasted my time and $700. I am visiting Vegas from California and had issues with my driver side window. It wouldn't roll up and I didn't want to drive back home with my windows down. Came into Pop's and they were quick, friendly and did a great job. Adam and Jacks started right away and they offered water, coffee and snacks while I waited. I found out from my own mechanic that this business stripped the bolt they put on during an impromptu oil change. I was in the neighborhood and I took a chance on a new business. It took my regular guy the jaws of life to take it off during my most recent oil change. Their work also left spills on my engine and other parts under my hood... I'm not an expert on cars by any means, but my mechanic is, and he was disappointed by the state my car was left in by Pop's. Note: it wasn't the cheapest oil change and they used a yellow marker for my next change sticker, and I couldn't make out what it said at all. They were nice enough, but these small details go a long way in retention. read more

I am new to Las Vegas and a woman and I had taken my 2011 Chevy HHR to a few other places here, but their pricing was outrages but by the Grace of GOD I stumbled upon POP'S AUTOMOTIVE early one morning going to visit my husband in the hospital (needing air in my tire) where I met Sam and Brenik and they were great, they made me feel confident about choosing their shop for my car repairs, and they even invited me to bring my other car my 2003 Infinity G35 for an estimate for repairs and I feel very confident that I will be able to get that one repaired as well with a great price. This shop and their employees were great. The pricing was great, with easy pay options and they fixed my car in a timely manner. I love them so much at that place and just met them as I stated above. So just to let all know, POP'S AUTOMOTIVE this is a place to go for great repair service and great customer service. So many places just rip off women when they see them coming alone but the team here was great thanks Sam, Brenik, Destiny and to the other workers (I'm just sorry I don't know them all by name) even the customers waiting around the shop was amazing.
