When I moved out here from Orange I missed my Buccaneer Pizza so bad! And no one delivers pizza to the canyon except Porky's. At first I wasn't impressed with them. I just got one of their deals with a combo type pizza. MEH. The parmesan crust is great though! They should offer a dipping sauce for it like Papa John's. That would make it way better. Chicken wings suck and I'm a wing idiot. Won't ever buy them there again. We actually didn't really like Porky's until we hit on a pizza that they really excel at: Double pepperoni pizza with a cheese blanket and parmesan crust. That is the BEST PIZZA ever! read more

Porky's is our go to pizza place. We've tried a couple of places including all the big chains and Porky's is in our top 3. Those big chain pizza places are all about quantities and cost savings. Big chain pizza pies are real greasy, toppings not the greatest (out of the frozen aisle maybe?) I like the fact that Porky's pizza uses fresh toppings and are not shy/stingy with the amount of toppings used. Their cheese blanket option is awesome. Only drawback is that they don't deliver to my area as I'm 2 cities over but worth the drive. read more

So I've had Porky's Pizza before. Which is delicious! Our favorite is the Sweet & Spicy. But this was first time ordering it and picking it up myself. I ordered the X-Large pizza pick up deal & I added their garlic knots which are to die for. When I stepped into the location, it looked very clean and the staff was super friendly! The gentleman who helped me and wish I got his name but couldn't forget that he has lime green highlights in his hair, was so awesome & helpful! I added a liter of Sprite and at that moment he took the the time to tell me that if I did the family deal which comes with the X-Large pizza, a liter or soda and salad that I'd actually be paying less for the pizza if I did it that way. So of course, I went for it! But, things like that make a business stand out. He didn't have to tell me that and could've just charged me separate for everything. He could also tell that it was my first time there, so he asked me if I knew what type of salads they had and told me about each one. I decided to go with the antipasto salad which was really good. I couldn't decided which dressing so he gave me Italian and ranch and lots of it! Like, he hooked it up! As I was waiting to him to prepare my salad, another gentleman checked on me to make sure I was being helped. Great staff! Great food! Great location! I ordered a total of eight pizzas from Porkys to be delivered 4 at 5:00 Pm and 4 at 8:pm for a backyard party I had at my house. I had only 1 request, I asked for the pizzas to be delivered to the gate at the side of my house , This was an outside pool party and nobody would be inside of the house. When the driver arrived he came to the front door BOTH times, the second time he was leaving without dropping off the pizzas . Are you kidding me porkys! Can you not find drivers who can follow a simple instruction! A request I made and then verified when I paid for the delivery in advance . My side gate is 20' from the front door and is closer to the street than my front door. I'm just lucky I noticed the alert on my phone from my Ring doorbell or I would have been pizza less . When I moved to Brea and ordered delivery from a flyer I'd received , I honestly didn't have high expectations from a place called Porky's. Wow did I underestimate them! Their pizza is one of the best I've had, with a delicious crust -yes even the crust is great, tangy sauce and generous toppings. And their service is excellent; with both delivery and pick up they are always on time with their piping hot goodness. Head and shoulders above other pizza delivery in this entire area. This place is amazing I have been going to this place for years and thought I would finally write a review because they have been doing an amazing job during this trying time. Had Moved out of this area about 5 years ago so i was looking forward to some long awaited porky's pizza. Now the pizza was delicious and so was the salad, BUT, they forgot to give me utensils for salad and napkins to clean my hands. I'm at a hotel so no utensils in the room, just a pair of coffee stirs:( pic included) I'm starting to think this was a case of "no tip, no utensil" scenario. I found it odd that after ordering and paying and sitting down to wait for my order, they decided to "clean" the tip jar on the counter in front of me, yeah. Now you might be wondering why i didn't tip, well first because i only had 20$ dollar bills in my wallet, and second, they didn't do anything beyond the duties of their "required" job, 1) they took my order 2) took my payment 3) someone in the back made the pizza and salad ‍ I think this is all standard with what "i" believe is a "a basic order", maybe i missed something. Four stars is the most I can give this place on my first visit. Overall the shop has plenty of space if there's a line and benches to sit on while waiting and I appreciate it! The staff is helpful and nice. As for my order, I got the family meal and my brother the garlic knots and chicken wings. The pizza was delicious!! They know how to make a good crust, the pizza toppings and cheese were delicious and gooey, my family loved it! Their garlic knots were my absolute favorite, the next time we go, I'm definitely getting an order for myself. The chicken wings were really tasty and had plenty of meat on them. As for the salad....we got the Cesar salad and I kinda regret not just making my own? After I had mixed the salad and the dressing together and served everyone, few bites in I found a dead fly in my salad. It was in the container it came in so it was safe from bugs. My only suggestion, if they get their salad prepackaged to talk with the distributor or if it's in house possibly wash the lettuce or double check it before selling. There is even a ticker at the top that touts Porky's as the best pizza in Orange County. So I peruse the menu on the website and what do I see? A standard selection of various Italian dishes such as Buffalo Wings and Garlic Knots for appetizers, Antipasto Salad, Caesar Salad, etc., and, of course, the pizzas. The pizzas are listed by type: The Special (which has everything), The Veggie, The All Meat, The Hawaiian, and more. Underneath that, the Specials are listed: one extra large 2 topping pizza, salad, and 2 liter bottle of soda for $21.99, two medium 1 topping pizzas for $17.99, and more. Now everything on the menu has a price. Well, everything except for the PIZZAS! Now that's strange, isn't it? Looking at the Specials, I use my trusty arithmetic that I learned back in the 1st grade to figure that if 2 medium pizzas were $18, then 1 should be about $9 or $10, plus some extra toppings could make it about $13 or $14. So I call up Porky's and a rather polite gentleman answers the phone. "Will this be for pickup or delivery?" he asks. I indicate delivery, and he asks for my telephone number. After I give it to him and he doesn't find it in the database, he inquires if it is my first time. I reply that it is, and he asks how I heard about this place. Judging from the polished delivery, I assume he is either 1) the owner or 2) the manager, because I've never had a pizza store employee be so diligent with the order process in such a polite manner. We get through all of the details such as address and cross streets, and I order the Porky's Special. He asks if I want Medium, Large, or Extra Large? I opt for the Medium, and then he asks if I would like to add any Garlic Knots or dessert? He has to be the boss, because the up sell technique was extraordinary, delivered with a finesse that no mere employee could give. Before I decide, I inquire as to the price of the medium Porky's Special Pizza. The answer about floored me: $18.12 with tax and delivery! Wha-Wha-What?!!!! Why, I do declare, Mr. Beauregard! That's the most expensive medium pizza I've ever heard of! This certainly must be the Rolex of pizzas. I decline the Garlic Knots, and wrap up the order. I was told to expect delivery in about 45 minutes! So much for "fast delivery that is labor intensive," considering I live less than 3.5 miles away. After an eternity, my doorbell finally rings. PIZZA'S HERE!! I answer the door, take care of the bill, and bound into the room and get ready to unleash the best pizza in Orange County. I open the box, and what do I see? An average looking pizza, at best. The veggies are just thrown on top, and not even baked into the cheese. This results in the messiest pizza meal ever, as the toppings keep falling off of the pizza. The crust is a chewy, pan-type crust, but not soft-on-the-inside-crispy-on-the-outside pan. Just chewy. If I wanted chewy, I would have gone to the Mos Eisley Cantina and hired the Millenium Falcon. What the frigg is this? Now to be fair, the pizza didn't taste bad. But the BEST pizza in Orange County? I think not. If I gave this pizza to an Italian and told him it was the Best Pizza In Orange County, he would bite his thumb at me and then declare a vendetta against the whole county. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the $20 medium Porky's Special. But it was still better than the $5 Little Caesar's cardboard-with-sauce-and-cheese special. read more

Recently ordered a pick up from here as I wanted to visit and see the old place. I worked here years ago when it first opened and I have to say the pizza tastes exactly how I remembered and tasted great. I wasn't going to leave a very long review on this one because obviously being a former employee I am a little biased. However after reading some of the reviews below I see some that are not fair. Lando, totally hear where you are coming from, that could be super frustrating so this does not apply to you. There was a person below that said the cheese was not fresh and the crust was not fresh. That is real unfortunate I'm thinking they (porky's) either made dough late the night before and used it the next day (fresh dough is good for 24 hours), or you don't know what you are talking about. I can tell you right now. I will never forget those summer afternoons working at Porky's when it would be over 90 degrees in the store and near 100 degrees outside. Getting in early to prep the fresh dough, salads, sauce and cheese. Working my ass off grading those blocks of cheese in the 90 degree heat. It was brutal but necessary. The cheese is freshly graded every day. The sauce is also prepped fresh too however the spices are mixed offsite to protect the recipe, it's still fresh though. The dough is NEVER frozen, I can tell you that from experience and you would certainly know if it was. The dough does not rise properly if frozen, the yeast just does not react the same. One of my favorite jobs was tossing skins and making pizza pies! One of my least favorite, grading the cheese in the heat. Everything is prepped fresh. If you are a skeptic show up an hour or so before they open and peep through those giant glass windows. You will see young adults chopping salads, veggies, garlic, rolling dough (that was just mixed in the back), and prepping the topping stations. This place is still under the same ownership and I do not doubt that the standards are still very high. I remember not being able to leave until I swept and mopped under each surface, cleaned all of the topping stations and dishes. As it should be at every restaurant. This pizza is some of the best around and its not some big corporate crap. Support small business and be sure to order garlic knots! read more

The pizza is excellent... when they get the order right, which is about 50% of the time. I ALWAYS ask for thin crust, and I'll reiterate my request and ask them to confirm my order at the end, but like I said, half the time they get it wrong :( I will say that my hubby is allergic to mushrooms, so when I order a half-and-half pizza and specify that the mushrooms can't spill over to the other side, they've been pretty good about obliging. Delivery/service is usually pretty quick and friendly. The hot wings are not good; then again, I worked at Hooters for years so that might just be a biased opinion. Overall, worth it. Went out of my way 25 minutes to this location instead of another one that is not that far. I pick it up ask for plates and napkins ready to eat right away. Go to the car try out cinnamon knots first lol room temp. Not hot at all eat two of those then try pizza omg try to separate slices lol room temp also not hot not fully cooked falling apart. All soft not coming apart. Turn on light in car look at bottom of pizza white no golden brown. I guess they wanted to put in oven at home and cook not eat in car? Or just last hour of the night. 100% disappointed. Their motto " The Way a Pizza should Be" and 100% fresh mozerella Ordered the special called the FEAST. $29.99 special. Pizza: The Mediterranean: Crust tasted like it was not freshly tossed, rather it was frozen, and too chewy. Tomatoes were soggy (tasted like they were defrosted and once frozen), not enough cheese. The chicken tasted exactly like defrosted COSTO grilled chicken breast. Chicken Wings: Tasted like Costco buffalo spicy wings. Salad: Antipasto: Deli low quality ham, 4 pieces of thin pepperoni, again, soggy tomatoes (like defrosted), peppers, mozerella cheese (fresh maybe), and bell peppers. Garlic Knots: Very tasty. Coke Did not expect the Way Pizza should be using mostly frozen to defrosted ingredients, and nothing tasted fresh. Received the pizza and it was not very hot. Porky's makes a good, solid pizza. It is my go-to when I'm home. I love to get "The Fear" thin crust pie. I also dig the tomato and basil, but you can't really go wrong. I can tell they use good quality products (great sausage), they don't skimp, and the consistency is very good. Mistakes happen, and I'm sorry to see some of these other folks turned off by a bad experience. Great experience for our whole family. Large order for pickup. They got everything right, staff was super polite and helpful when I called twice to ask questions. Pizzas were gourmet and delicious. I highly recommend upgrading to the parmesan garlic crust. Also, the garlic knots are amazing and they gave us both ranch and marinara to dip them in. Honestly, they're so flavorful that they don't need anything, but it was nice icing on the cake. Our family will absolutely, definitely order here again as our "go to" for pizza.
