I've been here a handful of times and every time I just do gel fingers (no extensions anything, I like to keep my nails short) and a basic pedicure. I usually wait to do my nails when Im in San Diego. This time at Posh I decided to add a callus remover... and it was the best callus remover I have ever had. I haven't had a callus remover in a LONG time cause none ever made a difference on my feet so whats the point in spending the extra $. But this girl was so thorough and paid much attention to detail and my callus's, etc., are actually smooth and clean. I was very hesitant to leave this review because I don't want to come off as a Karen, but when service is this bad I felt the need to. I came in today for a gel x removal and gel mani. Henry was the manicurist. He removed my gel x nails by literally scraping them off one by one with an acrylic nail. No soaking at all. I came into a nail salon and paid $15 for gel x removal because I wanted them to be properly taken off, but that was not the case. I've been to multiple nail salons in the past and they ALWAYS soak off gel x. If I knew they would scrape my gel x nails off I would've done it myself at home. Then, he proceeded to cut my cuticles not once, but twice. I left the nail salon with my cuticle bleeding. They didn't even acknowledge the cuts. If you want quality service, do not go to Posh Nails. read more

Advantages are you can easily get a chair and it's a big place with a lot of staff. They open early and especially good around a holiday. Appointments are not required. The staff is friendly and they seem to be a well run machine. My only complaint is that when I went in I got a mani pedi, the polish they used was old and clumpy. Rather than get a new one or use a thinner, she just continued to use it and ultimately my nails never fully dried and the polish smudged on multiple fingers. So not great and I should've spoken up. They use spa chairs for everyone getting a pedicure which is nice. You can get upgrades like callous removal and paraffin or longer massages. They definitely try to upsell. Paraffin was an extra $10. read more

I've come here every month for the past year, and received the same service- a gel X manicure with my real nails and a basic pedicure. Every single time I've come here the price has been different. Yesterday when I went in for my typical service, they charged me $115, although the last time I came in they charged me $95. Nothing was different from my last service, used the same exact colors and process... also, the person that was doing nails yesterday was so rude, and throughout the past year the nail techs and front desk lady are not the nicest! I get it, you're busy, but when does customer service matter...the reason I give 3 stars is because my nails typically look good, but never what I asked for... Although they did a good job on my manicure and pedicure they moved me multiple times while it was drying so they could squeeze in more people... until finally the woman at the front took my purse and said I had to come outside for a fast drying spray so they could have that chair too. She messed up three of my nails with this game and couldn't even apologize for it. Instead they sat me in the waiting area and tried to just smooth over the errors.... Posh Nails is my go to when I'm in the area. I get my waxing done from Connie, she's phenomenal and so funny. I've been going to her for 14+ years. Today I had Mai do my nails. I wanted my natural nails to have color but not gel. I opted for the dip powder in a periwinkle blue. It looks More white, lavenderish in the picture. I'm so in love, Mai was sweet, attentive and her work speaks for itself. She took her time, and gave me exactly what I was looking for.
