This contracted USPS location is the absolute worst. I walked in and no one was at the counter I had to yell "hello " because there wasn't a bell or anything to alert them of my presence. When the guy came to the counter, there wasn't any type of greeting. I was mailing a prepaid postage package and provided him with the barcode. He then said that I had to pay $2. I inquired what the charge was for since it was a prepaid label. He flatly said pay it or don't. I paid it because I didn't want the hassle of trying to locate an official USPS Post Office . I don't live in the area. Anyway, another customer walked in while I was there and was trying to engage him and he completely ignored him as well. I filed a complaint with the United States Postal Service, and was told that since it's a privately owned business, he can charge additional fee for printing the label but at the post office they do not charge additional fee for prepaid package labels. If you value being treated with respect, don't patronize this business. After my transaction was completed, he didn't say thank you or anything. TRASH SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST

The actual price of mailing -- $3.07 per envelope.

They rip customers off. See comment and pictures. I mailed 3 envelopes that weighed just under 8 oz each. The clerk sold me 24 forever stamps for $16.80. (Or 70 cents per stamp, with 8 stamps on each envelope, for $5.60 per envelope). I thought the price was high, and when I got home, I checked the post office's website. The price for 1st class mail for large envelopes weighing under 8 oz is $3.07. The total cost should have been $9.21, not $15.60. I went back and saw that they did in fact put 8 forever stamps on the envelope. I confronted the clerk and the owner. The clerk said they just sold me forever stamps and that was the correct number. He had no response to the printout from the post office showing this was wrong. The owner said that they don't have $3.07 stamps. I am shocked that a mailing center does not have stamps in various denominations. (Three $1 stamps, a five-cent stamp, and 2 one-cent stamps would have done it.) But even so, I asked him why he didn't just put on FIVE forever stamps. (Forever stamps are currently 68 cents each, and that would be a total of $3.40, well above the $3.07 price.) He said I could go to the post office if I wanted that. Bottom line: they are buying forever stamps at 68 cents (or perhaps less), selling them at 70 cents, and putting on more stamps than are needed. They made at least 48 cents on this transaction (24 stamps x 2 cents each). Even if they did not have the correct postage -- itself a problem -- they should have made at most 30 cents (15 stamps x 2 cents each). To gain the extra 18 cents, they were willing to add more stamps than was necessary and cost me $6.39 more than what I should have paid. The owner won't admit he is doing this and presumably won't stop. If they are willing to impose large costs on customers so that they could make a small additional profit, they are fundamentally dishonest. I would never use this shop again.

Does cover a lot of postal services but only takes cash or check. There are a lot of posted signs so make sure you have read and conformed to all of them.

This is probably the worst postal place I have ever been too. I've been here 3 times and every time the guy working here is beyond rude. I walked in and waited at the counter, no hi no hello no nothing. He continued to walk around and do whatever or stare at his computer when he knows your there. I said hello and he turned to me and said "yeahhh?" I told him I was dropping off and would like a receipt. He said he doesn't do receipts (every other Postal place has always given a receipt when you ask) I was confused by this and he said "I don't do receipts" again. I asked him every other place does why doesn't he? He then told me if I wanted a receipt to go somewhere else (very rudely). Probably one of the rudest people I have ever met. Do not go here, waiting at the Post Office is worth it over this place. read more

For years they have been doling out abuse and poor customer service! The only thing working in their favor is a good location proximal to other businesses like Joann's, Rite-Aid and Starbucks. I only go there when I absolutely must. read more

I went to Post Masters today to ship something and I forgot how unbelievably rude the owner is. My daughter reminded me when we walked in that last time we were there he was yelling at a customer. I had packages for UPS that already had labels and just needed to be dropped off. There was a long line so I asked if I could just drop them off and he just yelled at me and pointed to go over to the side. I waited there about 15 minutes and he did't even acknowledge me so I left. He is so,so rude and I will never go in there again even though it's a block from my house. read more

Terrible service. It felt like a scam. They could only do UPS overnight if I paid cash. They didn't have the correct form for overnight using my account number?? Second time being dissatisfied here, first time posting about it. It's easier to say no to a customer than do some work right? read more

The owner is a dick, he becomes angry if you just need to drop off mail and don't have an immediate need to buy something. I had a prepaid ups return I was shipping for a friend and when the owner found out it was pre-paid he told me they didn't have any ups envelopes or boxes. Every time I asked for one he just kept saying, "you have to go to the facility". I told him that I know they have them there but I needed one of now asked; don't you guys have them? (The boxes & envelopes they get from ups for free) He replied, "no, we're all out. You hav2 buy a box from me if you want to ship it from here". The boxes were behind the counter!!! He's done this (lie) to me and other neighbors in the area! Avoid this place, patron a place in which the owners actually like to help people. read more

Worse than the USPS which I didn't think was possible. Terrible rude service every time and I decided this is my last straw with them. Don't take cards and they make it difficult to accept checks and are begrudging about giving receipts and cash back. Shipping materials usually out of stock or not accessible to package and the workers aren't helpful at all. Plus it is more expensive each time I have, and they arent willing to get you the right item, size or form. It is like Nobody wants to be there. No wonder I see so few people using them every time I go in. Well this is the last time this happens. You just lost another customer guys, enough is enough! read more

Just walking into this place, you can tell that it is not customer-friendly. Off-putting signs everywhere- "TAPE 50 CENTS" "HAVE PACKAGE READY WHEN YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE!" "NO CELL PHONES AT THE COUNTER." Even the POST OFFICE doesn't have such rude, anti-customer service signs, and they can be pretty bad! I went to mail something via USPS for 2 day shipping. The clerk tells me that the only way to make that deadline is to do USPS Overnight, and even THAT isn't guaranteed. He weighs my package (I was only sending a CD, so it was very light and in a small envelope)...$27! He gave me the UPS price (which apparently is "guaranteed") and it was $33. I said "hell no" and took my business to USPS. Also, only cash or check here...no credit/debit for USPS service (why?). USPS gives me Overnight, Express 1-Day, 12 pm GUARANTEE for $19.95, insurance included. I don't know what this place is thinking with its jacked-up prices, but I sure as hell won't give them my money! read more

So rude and shady. They refused to provide a receipt for a UPS package and told me to go somewhere else if I wanted a receipt. There's only one reason not to provide a receipt. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. If every other mail place provides a receipt why won't they? read more

I went in to send a package to Florida by USPS in 3 days, I was told by the clerk it would be better to ship by UPS(probably better profit margin for them) I was told the package would arrive in 3 days it arrived in 6 days and was late for my grandson's birthday. When I called to complain I was told by Ken (the manager) that I wanted to send it the cheapest way possible, which is a boldface lie. If you make a mistake face up to it and don't blame you customers. Would I ever use this place again, NEVER!!!! I will either go to the post offices on Riverside or Magnolia or go to the UPS stores in Sherman Oaks or Studio City. I try to patronize small businesses as much as possible, but I want to get service and what I pay for, and do not want to be called a liar. read more

I have no idea why people would rate with less than favorable reviews. That has has not been my experience here at all! I love this place! I have had a PO box mailing address here for over 3 years. Kenneth is the nicest owner EVER! He always greets me with a hello and asks me how I am doing. He knows me by name and always has a smile on his face, he even goes out of his way to check my mailbox when I call to see if there is any mail to save me a trip from driving there! Love this place and I don't think I'll go anywhere else! read more

The owner is really rude. He ignores people when they ask him questions. This has happened on more than one occasion. He also has ridiculous signs up telling people not to bother him. He said that the Post office is cheaper, so he will never get my service again. read more

HORRIBLE experience at Post Masters at 13351 Riverside Dr. (between Starbucks and Rite Aid)! I went there this week to mail a package and buy stamps. The new employee rang up the package and stamps, I handed him a $20 bill, and he put the stamps down to make change. I realized when I returned home about 10 minutes later that he had not handed me the stamps when he handed me the change. I immediately returned to pick up the stamps and the owner, who was in the back at the time of the occurrence, said "You have them" and refused to give me the stamps. My husband and I both returned (we have been going there regularly for at least 10 years and he knows us) and he called me a "liar" and was nasty and belligerent. I will obviously NEVER step foot in that store again! There are so many other options to choose from in the area, and NO ONE should have to be exposed to this wretched treatment by this deplorable owner. I cannot recommend avoiding this place strongly enough! read more

I was certain that I would be the sore thumb, standing out with one of very few negative reviews. But boy am I wrong. Do not do business here!. Particularly if you are African-American! I was having a nice dialogue with the owner telling him how I knew some folks in Compton that we're opening a PO Box in how the black community is building our own infrastructure down south, and he laughed at me! I was baffled! I'm still trying to figure out the mystery of where my mail has been going for six months while this Asian guy has been making money off of me! Because it surely hasn't been showing up at my PO Box! And what little did, he returned to the sender all while I was paying for his services from out of state. I got ripped off, big time! read more

I guess I'm just one more customer who thinks these people are rude jerks. I just went to drop off a UPS package that was already labeled. There were a couple of people in line and 2 people were helping them. There was a third guy working off to the side, so I asked him "Can I leave this here? Its already labeled." Before he could respond the woman helping a customer glanced over and kind of barked "your label not clear. cannot read tracking number. you need to go print a new label." It wasn't a perfect print and the barcode was a little light, but the tracking number itself was perfectly readable. Worst case scenario, the UPS driver would need to type the # in. I asked the guy who hadn't been able to get a word in if I jump in line can they print me a new one if they are that concerned about it. Then the other guy working the register jumped in and started talking about toner cartridges and that I needed a new one and that I needed to go home and print a new one. They could have asked me to jump in line and they could print a new label. They could have just taken it and printed a new label when it was convenient for them. They could have just been decent. I waited to write this just to make sure - THE PACKAGE MADE IT WITH NO ISSUES. So they weren't even right. read more

If you want to buy stamps here, bring cash or write a CHECK like it's 1965 because that's the only option. They only accept credit cards for every other type of purchase. Ridiculous. read more

I ve been in this place few times. They do the job but bad attitude from the owner and employees . They are not talking neither smiling. I gave them benefit if the doubt, we all have bad days. Now it is very clear that it is consistent. They simply have no customer service. They are expensive as well. The reason I m giving two stars because they simply doing their job, however the attitude needs to be changed. Today it was even on the rude note. I won't be coming here again read more

Extremely disappointed by the rude attitude of Ken. I believe he is the owner of this mailing center and unfortunately ignores select customers. He also picks and chooses who to charge the unnecessary .50 cents to when securing boxes with tape. Trust me, it's not about the .50 cents. It's that he decided to leave me standing at the counter with a shipment and stand outside looking at a poster his employees were taping to the window for 5 minutes. Then it was an inconvenience to ship my package. I'm sorry, is it not your job to ship my packages? Didn't mean to inconvenience you Ken. And as for the .50 cents, you select who you want to charge it to. I've been in your mailing center plenty of times and have seen you tape boxes for other people and not charge. You just lost not only a personal shipper, but my company will no longer be using your services. read more

The employees here have always been nice and very helpful, but I think the owner is unnecessarily unpleasant, in fact, rude. I used to think this might be a cross cultural issue but now I think he might have mood disorder because at times he is polite but most other times he seems quite angry and hateful no matter how nice the customer is.....He can really be nasty for unknown reasons. Really do not want to leave this place as I have used the services there for over 15 years....but resent being used as an emotional dumping ground by this business owner. read more

The owner and young woman that work here are so unpleasant - like they hate their work. I dropped off a Priority mail box of goods on 2/2/17 to get to my family up in northern CA from L.A. of baked goods. This guy didn't ship it till five days later! I paid for it to go 2 day max from So CA and it still hasn't arrived - due today 2/9/17. I've dropped off several packages for UPS and or mailing and it is ALWAYS the same nasty vibe in this place. Gross. I won't be giving them any more business. There is a great one on Victory and Fulton and the people that work there are so sweet and friendly. I will only be going there from now on. read more

The owner is very rude and unpleasant. I have stopped by this place a couple times to mail a few packages. I was polite and was not asking for anything complicated. He has bad attitude. Acts like he is doing me a huge favor. I would rather spend extra time to drive farther from my house to another mailing facility than give him any more of my business. read more

I had a large package to ship. The owner said the least expensive way to ship was going to cost over $50.00. Ouch. So I went to the actual Post Office and they shipped it for $25.00. My boyfriend had the same experience. This guy is clearly padding his prices to make more money. Be aware and do your homework before shipping from here.Also, he charges you drop-off pre-paid packages. read more

They don't sell stamps after 4:30 on weekdays and the owner was a real dick about it, "You can only buy the envelope, come back tomorrow" (said with blank cold eyes and an uninviting tone) Is it really that much of an inconvenience to sell me a stamp and have my package sit in your mail bin overnight? Maybe he knows something I don't know or maybe he's just tired and bitter, been beat down by the man, over it. Whatever it may be, I did not enjoy the flavor of this particular interaction, distant, dismissive, and depressing - as it were. read more

Hen is incredibly rude. I had a package in hand and was about to ask him a question when he rudely and unexpectedly cut me off mid word and said "drop it there". I was confused for a second and he said it again, "drop it there". I asked him if I could finish my question and asked if I needed to sign anything or if it needed to be scanned. I don't ever drop off packages so this is all new to me! I asked him about another package I had and he gave vague information like I knew what he was talking about. I asked him to repeat himself and he said with a very frustrated tone to let him finish what he is doing first and then he would help me. He was moving 2 boxes and apparently is unable to multitask. I felt like a child being scolded and told to be quiet in front of other customers. TERRIBLE SERVICE BY THIS MAN. Not friendly AT ALL! Will not be returning to this place. read more

This man was so incredibly rude. Went in at 5pm to get something stamped and put in a mailbox. From behind a cardboard fold he's yelling "We're closed! We're closed!" (Creepy) Then why is your door wide open? Then why, on yelp, does it say you're open until 5:30? Update your yelp and close your door if you close at 4:30. He finally came out from behind the cardboard and proceeded to tell me he would take my money and put the stamp on tomorrow, but if I don't "trust him" that I could leave. Sir, WHAT are you doing? This whole thing was weird and never going back. Baffled they are in business. read more

I also bought a booklet of stamps. Being the old school that I am, I still do some things the old school way. Whatever works for you. They have 2 mailboxes in the front for your convenience when the Post office is closed. Place is clean, and has few parking spots in the front and limited spots behind the building. All I can say is that I saw a BIG improvement from the years before..

The post office has open…read moredoors around 0830 am for people to enter to use their mailboxes or drop mail into the slot, and it shows in person hours are later in the early afternoon. The only thing about the drop slot was it confused me, because it said only letters, then it said no stamped letters if more than a certain thickness. And then the bigger slot says stamped letters but could fit my whole small box return. I took the chance and threw it in the slot, what are people supposed to do on a weekday if they can't come at the open time and they need to send something. Maybe I'm just confused by the sign so hopefully my mail goes through! Otherwise an extremely convenient location even with a 10 minute parking if you're going to be in and out!

There is a long low rectangular building along 6400 block of Bellingham. The post office is in the rear of this building on its southeast corner which happens to face the back lot of Sears. Hours of operation for personal window service are rather limited. Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm. However, the lobby automated service hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 7pm & Saturday 6:30am - 4pm. Closed Sunday. There is no outside mailbox, but there is a mail slot in the lobby so make sure to be there during open door hours.

Our babies formula got "lost in transaction". Apparently made it to the store, and got lost going to the truck. "LOST" the driver couldn't be spoken with because he's "no longer with them" so we can't even figure out where an 8lb package disappeared. The only solution that came out of this witches mouth was "shes assuming the package didn't make it to the truck" and "the only thing you can do is write to a survey for your missing package." I'll be showing up to the postal office to thank her in person for her useless help. They are definitely stealing packages and hustling on the side my biggest guess from the reviews I've read and hearing everyone's packages going missing.

So I had to return an Amazon purchase & this is one of the stores that came up…read more I walk in to store #2036, a few customers are to the side like they're waiting for something & no one is in line. A young lady kinda waves me over & I let her know I have an Amazon return. Note I was not greeted by her or anyone, just kinda waved over. I hand my package to her & she scans & does some things; no questions, no small talk, no smile & hands me a paper. Now, I have returned only a few items & to Amazon Fresh & they let me know what's going on, walk me through the return process - she did none of this & handed me a paper. I didn't know what to do with it, I ask her what it is, she kinda sighs and says it's your receipt. Ok, no big deal, I say thank you & she just looks away. No goodbye, no thanks for coming in. Imho, she REALLY needs some refreshing on how to treat people because even though I wasn't technically a customer, she was not polite in the least & I will not be back to this store for any reason.

Did you ever see an episode of Seinfeld called "The Soup Nazi"? Well the owner of this place is The Stamp Nazi. "No stamps for you!!". I'm being light hearted in this review, however this morning I had the worst experience I have ever had there, and it is unsurprising after walking on egg shells around this guy over the years. The owner is the most unpleasant, angriest, most horrible little man I have ever met. Ever. Today he screamed at me because he didn't want anyone disturbing him. All while his shop door was open! I feel bad for this little gnome. He is clearly VERY unhappy. But why scream at the customers? How he is still in business I have no idea. His store is always empty. I have to imagine he has scared everyone away. Well he lost business to one more today. Someone really should report him to the DCA. Or take him to an animal shelter. Too bad Seinfeld is over. He might have a gig. read more

I walked into this post masters for the first time with questions and to mail the 2 items. The owner/Ken, I believe, had the most obnoxious attitude. I had questions but he wrongfully answered in a such a rude way. He made me pay for ONE lousy envelope which costed me $2.50 where I can get 100 envelopes from Amazon for under $10. At the end, he gave a wrong answer and was stuck with $2.50 envelope. I went to search for an official USPS nearby because the owner didn't answer my question correctly. Will never ever go back there, not worth the time and the rudeness! read more

Horrible front desk owner. He's not that smart and has an attitude and doesn't listen to his customers. Doesn't know how to talk to people and always charging customers debit cards early before payments are due. He got my card cancelled for trying to over charge and my bank thought it was fraud. Then he tried to charge a late fee because I had to get a new card in the mail because of him charging too early and now trying to over charge. Avoid this location. read more

I visit this facility daily, Ken is very helpful, he shops around for the best prices on a given packet or a box that I need to overnight. He helps me with the incoming box deliveries regardless what size of a box came in. During these past 6 years I had experienced nothing but excellent service. I recommend anyone that needs a P.O. Box to confidently use Post Masters' services. read more
