Two days ago I went to this location for postal services. There were no other customers there when I arrived. The young lady working there was on a personal phone call on speaker phone with another young lady. I had to wait a bit for her to pause her conversation to help me, however she kept the phone conversation going which was loud & involved the other party on the phone flushing a toilet & then what sounded like she was washing her hands. Super loud. Meanwhile another customer came in who also heard it & made a comment at which time the cashier muted her phone. I finished my transaction & without a step the cashier popped back on her cell phone to finish her conversation with "what were you saying?" to the person on the phone without so much as a thank you or have a nice day to me. HORRIBLE representation of your company. VERY unprofessional! read more

Yeah, i'm definitely never coming back here. They advertise that they have printing available so I walked in with my documents on a flash drive to print for class. I needed an 11x17 and a 13x19. No one greeted me when I came in, and I had no clue where to go to make prints. Finally saw the employee and told her I needed a couple prints and all she told me was that I can use the computers along the wall. Nothing else. No offer to help or questions about what exactly I needed. Clicked on my document to print it and didn't even get a pop up confirmation on the computer to choose what size I needed or anything. I assume it printed so I asked the girl where my document printed to and she acted like she didn't even know, and didn't give me an answer. Finally found it, and of course it was the wrong size. Apparently they don't even do 13x19 prints. I should have walked out but I paid the 11 cents for the wrong print, walked out, and threw my paper away. Waste of time. Rude, unhelpful employee. read more

I went to scan and email a document. I was never told the price and the employee did the task without mentioning anything. Then I was charged $20 for 15 pages! It's 2018. The energy consumption for the 2 second task was a few pennies. read more

I live in the area so I thought I'd use them to send my Mom her iPhone that she left at my place. She needed it promptly so I spent over $100 to ship it overnight. It was a Friday. The employee I spoke to assured me it would be delivered the following day, on Saturday. Well, she forgot to check the box for Saturday delivery so it didn't arrive until Monday. I called Fedex and they told me I would get a full refund. I called Postnet and the owner offered a $30 store credit! If I wanted Monday delivery I could have used USPS priority mail and spent $6. Now I'll be going to small claims court to retrieve my money. Stay away from these guys. Incompetent and then unwilling to do the right thing after their mistake. read more

the tall asian girl was so nice and helpful. she is the most beautiful post office worker i have ever seen. i hope her business prospers and her life carries forward until the end of time. never in all my post office runs have i had such thorough and kind assistance. i think the other reviewers saying the workers are rude must have no sense of humor. read more

Updated review: I was hoping the new owners would make things better, but that is not the case. I have rented a box here for my business for 5 years. New owners took over 3 weeks ago. I made a payment 2 weeks ago. After I collected mail that day, they have been holding my mail. Tonight the owner refused to give my mail to me, even though I am still well within the 6 months of termination (actually about six weeks), even if they back- date my payment to the previous owners, which is not the agreement I made with the employee when I made the payment. I was giving them a chance to get it right going forward. New owners are not aware of the requirements of the USPS regarding termination of contract and not complying with the rules set out on USPS website regarding the delivery requirements of a CMRA (Commercial Mail Receiving Agency), which is what Postnet is: https://pe.usps.com/archive/pdf/dmmarchive20041209/d042.pdf See Section 2.5-2.8, esp. 2.7. Postnet Corporate and the new Franchise owner of this location have no interest in taking care of a long-time client. If you are a business, I HIGHLY recommned you go elsewhere to rent a box, unless you intend to stay there forever. You can't forward your mail with USPS and new owners will stop delivering your mail the minute you terminate. Which is illegal and against USPS guidelines. Shame on Postnet! Shame on the new owners! They are either unaware of the Post office laws or refuse to admit them, and refuse to answer my questions about their procedures with regard to delivering mail (also see previous post*). Paying another 6 weeks or 6 months would not have been an issue AT ALL if the new owners had been reasonable and not just start holding my mail for payment I didn't make to the previous owner, AND refused to give it to me for 2 weeks when I had JUST made a payment. It's more of a hassle for me to update my address for my business than to pay another $20, trust me. Businesses beware! I have video of him holding my mail in his hand tonight and REFUSING to give it to me! Thinking about submitting to Turko files or another TV station. Or reporting to Postmaster General. Let me repeat this: You can't forward your mail from a CMRA with USPS!!! And the new owners will stop delivering your mail the minute you terminate. They have no understanding or willingness to abide by the USPS rules. They are REQUIRED to forward to you or hold your mail for 6 months after you terminate (with certain exceptions, like junk mail). They refuse to admit or comply by the rules. Even when pressed. If you rent there and are considering not renewing or moving, do yourself a favor and give yourself PLENTY OF TIME to update your clients or contacts with your new address. Don't expect them to hold your mail or do the right thing. Shameful! BTW - not sure if this was on previous post or not, but new owner claimed he wasn't aware of the bags and bags of mail that had accumulated at this location when he took over. Later, an employee admitted to me that they had recently (with the new owner) returned several BOXES (the plastic ones USPS uses to collect mail) of "Undeliverable mail" over several days, because "it was too much for the Post office delivery lady to take at once - she made us spread it out". The new owner will lie directly to your face. He is only concerned about money. No customer service skills whatsoever. At least Joseph was personable. And tonight the owner couldn't figure out if they had returned my mail to the PO or kept it. He had to call an employee to find out where it was, which tells me they still don't have their procedures figured out. Sorry for the rant - it's just been an extremely time-consuming, frustrating and embarassing situation (when you have to keep asking clients to send checks that disappeared into the Black Hole of PostNet, or you get a Christmas card 4 mos. late, or a date-sensitive document from the Government 5 months after you were supposed to return it. My business is taxes, so I just can't afford these kind of mistakes. Sorry, Postnet, you have lost my business for good. And this goes for any location. Hope to save other businesses some hassle in the future... That's all! read more

Prices are very high. Had a package that I wanted to go standard US mail, the cost was going to be $35. I thought that was very high so took the package to the post office and the charge was $20 for the same shipping method. The employee that helped me was very nice but that's too steep of a mark up. read more

I really like this place. They go out of their way to help you out. The other day, I had a large job to complete. Al was working the desk and was terrific. He was able to fit my job in and still be able to help customers who were dropping off packages and picking up mail. This can be a pretty busy place, which is why I wanted to give him kudos for doing such a great job! I highly recommend this place. read more

I went in to Postnet today kind of skeptical because of all the negative reviews, but as soon as I walked in my skepticism was gone. I was greeted in the most bubbly way and was helped very quickly. Yes there is only one employee, but Angie did a great job at multitasking and helping everyone that walked in. Her attentiveness and patience with me definitely made me want to go back. Their prices are very reasonable and I will be going back to do all my printing. read more

Cheated me on weight of a shipped box. When it came to me, the box weighed 1.1 lb. I RMA'd it. Same box, same merch. When they sent it, they claimed 9lb. Avoid this place. They cheat customers. It's flat out fraudulent, and that's what I'll be telling the bank when I challenge the charge. read more

rude people! charges $1 to tape anything. tries to get you to purchase their envelopes when you have a priority mail package. will not give you a priority mail envelope. i asked for a sticky label holder & he told me they don't have those even though the lady gave me one last time. i'll never go back there to ship anything. i like to support small business in the area but not them! go to she's the shipper on lake murray! the woman in there is as nice as can be & super helpful even the times when you are just dropping off packages & not purchasing anything. these people treat you awful if you are not making a purchase. read more

I had to return a wrong color print cartridge I'd bought online. The guy here quoted me $24 by UPS for 3 pounds, as cheapest. I passed and out of curiosity stopped by the Post Office to see what they'd charge. My package was barely over 2 pounds and it was $13, including tracking. I'll never go back here. read more

I need to fax 16 pages to a toll free number. They want to charge me $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for every page thereafter. This is a task that takes about 30 seconds of a person's time to load the docs and dial the number. And they want $16.50 for that. I will NEVER go here. What a rip off! I went into PostNet on December 17 to send a package to NY. I had wanted to get it there before Christmas, but I was told that it could get there Wednesday for $95.00. It was a 4 pound box and I wasn't spending $95 to get it there on the Wednesday before Christmas. I was not given options to get it there the Thursday, Friday, or Saturday before Christmas. Either way, I asked how much it was to be delivered the Monday after Christmas, the 26th - TODAY. I was quoted a price and I said, okay, let's go with that. I asked my mother to let me know when the package arrived today. Well, so far, no package had arrived. So I checked the tracking. The package isn't arriving until tomorrow. Normally, that would be okay - except I was lied to by the lady clerk, Angeles. I was lied to and paid for delivery TODAY, not delivery tomorrow. How does a business get away with charging customers for delivery on a day that they asked for when the package isn't really arriving until the next day. If there was no delivery today, I should have been told that, and the rate should have been reduced since it was an extra day. I'll NEVER come here again. What a disgrace!!! read more
