    Rice with veggies 8oz

Another work lunch adventure. Nine of us ordered from this place via seamless (or gurbhub... can't remember). One person said their food was "OK", one person said their chicken was "nice and juicy... likely cuz I ordered a whole chicken" and seven of us absolutely gave them the thumbs down. Those of us who didn't like our food all had the same to say "It was bland, tasteless and dry". I got a 1/2 chicken with a a chicken soup as a side and an extra side of rice mixed with vegetables. It looked good when I opened it. The chicken skin was OK tasting... but, the rest of the meat was pretty tasteless and the breast meat was absolutely dry. The soup was a bit on the oily side and the vegetables in it were melted. To make matters worse, multiple items were not delivered. Even though we provided our names to have our lunch orders labeled, nothing was (why is this a big deal?... well, everything has to be opened and handled by someone at work who is not necessarily the rightful rector said order). Absolutely will strike this place out of our work lunch rotation. We agreed to give this place a go based on all the good reviews (even cross referenced with Yelp)... makes you wonder if the reviews are trustworthy. 02/17/26 update: My coworkers and office crew noted that ALL missing items from our order were delivered after a phone later that day. Additionally, as far as they knew, an extra 1/4 of chicken showed up in that 2nd delivery.

My 1/2 dark meat rotisserie chicken

I love a well cooked chicken. I especially love rotisserie and I've been eyeing Poulette during my per diem rounds in the area. Today was the day I would feast! I was not disappointed. I ordered their decently priced lunch special, consisting of a 1/2 chicken, one side and choice of sauce. I opted for mac & cheese, and it was very good. I requested all dark meat and they obliged. The side dishes intrigued me so I ordered an extra 3 sides for $12. Everything was very good and very French. It's simple and done well. Getting three sides and the 1/2 lunch option actually comes out as a better deal than their 1/2 chicken with two sides meal, so keep that in mind. It's only a dollar more. The food came hot and ready to eat, and they don't skimp with the portions. Their chickens are not pumped full of hormones so they're normal sized, meaning you might want to get a 1/2 chicken for one person and not a quarter, because they're small chickens. I tried their sautéed brussel sprouts, which were really nice. Their string beans and mushrooms were ok but definitely needed a final sprinkle of salt. The corn with parmesan side is really good, and definitely add that squeeze of lemon juice. Even their sauces are good. I got the chipotle mayo included and it is probably one of the best chipotle mayo I've ever had. I also got an extra herb mayo and that was really good as well. You can tell they really incorporate herbs into the mayonnaise, by the look and taste. I will definitely be ordering again on my next rotation downtown.

Food/Drink: Actually so good!! Makes me miss El pollo Loco on the west coast. Chicken was moist and well seasoned - Loved the sides including ratatouille and quinoa salad Service: catered so unsure about service Atmosphere: catered Other: perfect for business or general catering!!

I was just walking by & saw a bunch of people eating at Poulette. The food looked pretty good so I decided to try the rotisserie chicken, a side of potatoes & 2 sauces. Everything was delicious, especially the herbed Mayo sauce. The only thing - I wish the portions were a little larger. I didn't really want to dine in - even though there was seating available. There seemed to be a constant stream of people coming & going for delivery/takeout orders. So I took mine to go & enjoyed it at home.

Delicious lunch special! I ordered online - it was ready fast. Pickup was easy and the staff was very friendly. I had the quarter chicken lunch special, which comes with two sides (for me, Caesar salad and Mac and cheese). Chicken skin was perfectly crisp, white meat was incredibly tender and came right off the bone. Max and cheese had good flavor, and was creamy without being overwhelming (almost a mac salad texture). Caesar dressing struck a great balance -not too thick not too thin, though I could have dealt with less Parmesan.

Fairly new French Roasted Chicken spot, I found this on my Meal Pal lunch plan and was very excited to try. First, I love French food, second, who doesn't like roasted chicken?! I'll give it 3.5 stars but with an opportunity to star up. The space is cozy, simply decorated and feels like a good to-go spot or for a brief sit down dining. It's menu is limited - roasted chicken, you choose the portion size and some sides. The flavors are on point, nice char and seasoning. However my 1/4 chicken was a bit on the dry side. The sign says made to order but I think mine was a bit in the oven too long or it was not brined enough when marinating. Still, the place has promise. I'd like to try it again just to see if I had bad luck the first visit, as I said, the flavors were good. I didn't try anything else besides the side of vegetables and rice. Note: the rice contains more chicken! It's slivers of chicken in each spoonful. That was also a pleasant surprise.

Nothing but kind workers here -- and very fast! Excellent service. I ordered the chicken and kale Caesar salad with roasted cauliflower on the side. Delicious rotisserie and the best cauliflower I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back!!

The RW menu was nice and well worth it, but as for me, I saw something else that I would rather have than the choices on the RW menu. I decided to go with the duck confit, but I did not read the menu thoroughly to see what side it came with. When it came out I saw it was with Flageolet bean Ragout which unfortunately I cannot eat, so I had to let Anna our server know. I was hoping she would keep the duck and just replace the side, but it looked like they made a completely new order, what service. My wife and son both ordered from RW menu and chose the boeuf bourgigninon which was so delicious, very tender beef and smooth mashed potatoes. We decided to also order escargot and French onion soup. Our service was just amazing from Anna our main server and the support servers who brought out our orders and to those who made sure our glasses were never empty. Of course the prefixe dessert was also delicious. Just super happy we learned that it was restaurant week and that we were able to experience it.

Oh, what a delight to stumble upon Marseille on a rainy day!…read more We stumbled into Marseille completely by chance. We were actually going to a different restaurant but the rain came down so hard, we needed to go somewhere closer. I want to come back and have a true meal here! (Apparently they do a discounted steak frites and that is my love language.) The staff very kindly accommodated us even thought we didn't have a reservation (we were only two). Everything in Marseille is done with a purpose. The waiters are all dressed in the same charming uniform. The cocktails are crafted with certain flavor profiles in mind. The menu is there to whisk you away to a little, remote village in France - except, you're on 9th Avenue in New York City and the street is littered with pushy walkers and....well, you get the drill. Anyway. Marseille begins the meal with the most excellent bread service. A fresh, hot sourdough roll is placed upon your table, along with herbed butter and oil. I could make a meal out of that bread alone. My cousin and I split the mushroom ravioli as an appetizer - a little salty, but excellent. The flavors were very well balanced and six was a good number for a dinner portion. We actually opted for the French onion soup as out main, and it was probably the best French onion soup we've ever had. There was also so much, we could not finish it. My Francais G&T was unbelievably good and came with a cornichon. Actually, shout out to our busser (I wish I got his name!) who accidentally took my drink-pickle away and had the waiter bring over more to make up for it. It was such a kind gesture and he deserves to be awarded for his attention to detail. (The wait staff overall was excellent. Kudos to the tall waiter with the snake ring and the shorter waitress with the great eyebrows. Again, I wish I got their names!) Oh, and as a bonus - they gave us some incredible truffles as a parting gift because we didn't stay for dessert. Like I said - the attention to detail here is on point! Overall, this is a fabulous spot. I would love to try brunch here!

Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, with a great sense of humor that made the whole dinner even more enjoyable. We started with Rockefeller oysters, escargot, steak tartare, and an heirloom tomato salad. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh. I especially recommend the heirloom tomato salad--it was the perfect balance to all the richer appetizers. For my main, I ordered the duck à l'orange. The plating was beautiful, and they even brought some fire into the presentation (the only picture I managed to take ). The duck was cooked to perfection--juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The parsnips were okay, although I wasn't a huge fan of the pairing with the duck. We ended the night with a dessert recommended by our waiter. It was some sort of cloudy foam with candy on top. Honestly, I have no idea what it was, but it was light, not overly sweet, and a great way to wrap up the meal. Definitely recommend this place if you're around Times Square and looking for a cozy French spot that doesn't take itself too seriously!

A classic done very well. And although it's not exactly French, their burger was superb. Served on an oversized grilled English muffin, it had a juicy patty topped with melted Gruyère. And the fries? As good as any you'll find in a bistro in Paris. A terrific discovery and exactly the kind of old-school restaurant that's getting harder and harder to find.

While the French Onion soup was still a stand-out dish, the painfully slow service detracted. There appeared to be a single waitress working. I didn't notice during my first visit if there were multiple servers, but the first time I did hear the waiter advise another table that the kitchen was behind and there would be a wait for food. (This didn't affect me since on my first visit I only ordered soup.) Same thing happened this time, and there was a significant delay between our soup/salad course and entrees. We were told the kitchen was backed up. this is apparently the norm. For appetizers, the French onion soup was a gold star dish. My friend had the goat cheese salad which she said was also very good. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was good, and a hard-to-find dish in NYC. While eating our entrees, the server never checked on how things were or if we needed anything. Once finished, we sat there for a long time waiting for our plates to be cleared, and finally had to "announce" that we were done and request our dessert (as we had ordered the prix fixe menu). For dessert we ordered the Dame Blanche and Profiteroles. I would recommend neither. The ice cream (in both) was poor quality, crystallized and not creamy. A real shame. In all, the meal too 2.5 hours due to the slow service. The soup remains fantastic. I'm downgrading my review to recommend this spot only for soup and salad and not a full, hours-long meal.
