I'M 47 & FABULOUS... Pour Behavior HTX Another amazing establishment in HTX that absolutely did not disappoint. Period.‍ We celebrated my 47th birthday brunch the right way and from the moment we walked in. It was a whole experience. Our hostess. Chef's kiss. Attentive. Warm. On point. A true girls' girl. IYKYK... I intentionally booked the first opening at 10am because listen. I wanted peace. I wanted ease. I wanted to brunch, vibe, and still have my entire day ahead of me. Best decision ever. We were able to chill, unwind, and really take in the space without chaos. That alone deserves a round of applause. Now let's talk about the aesthetics. Because BABY... This place is sooo girlie. Soft. Stylish. Intentional. A whole vibe. Pic worthy in every single direction you turn. No bad angles. Not a one.. The space itself is huge and thoughtfully laid out. A speakeasy tucked in the back. Yessss. Private dining area for intimate moments... Love that. A nice sized DJ area that sets the tone without overpowering the room. And let's not forget the patio with additional seating for when you want fresh air and flirt with the sunlight a little. It's giving OPTIONS. It's giving FLEXIBILITY... It's giving grown and sexy brunch energy... Do as you wish. Bottom line. A time was absolutely had. Pour Behavior HTX understood the assignment and executed it flawlessly. 47 looks good on me. And this brunch spot... will be on repeat.

If you want to have POOR BEHAVIOR chedk out Pour Behavior! Lol. We booked Pour for our annual Galentines Birthday celebrations and they were so accommodating. We were able to get the red booths that I envisioned and set up my little decor and gifts with no problem. The decor was already nice with the red couch and flowers but we did a little extra. The waiters were sooo nice and on point with refills of water and our mimosa towers (we got three of them). The food was good too! I was dancing soo much that my food got cold, lol. The Birthday Cake sparkler celebration made this a birthday to remember for my ladies. We will definitely be back. You do have to pay for parking but you may be able to find a spot on the street. The photo person is great too wish I would have got all of the pics now .

Came here for brunch on Sunday. We had a reservation even though it seemed like they seating an available at that time. The hostess and waitress were really friendly. The DJ was doing his thing.. the music was so good I was irritated that more ppl weren't dancing. The drinks were nice... I wish there was like price special during brunch. $40 hookah... oh and if you take a picture of your drink and tag them you get a free shot. The spinach pizza...so fire

Came here while on a work trip. Nice place, lots of potential for a good time, I just believe we were there on the wrong night. There wasn't a soul there on a Wednesday night, just one other family. I can tell Friday and Saturday nights are the nights you'll want to be there. Music was good, and service was good. Drinks top notch!!! No complaints

I went to Pour Behavior Saturday afternoon for brunch and it was pretty decent! It's a nice place to go with large groups as they have the mimosas towers, sparklers, live dj and fun energy. It wasn't too full when I went and was seated on the comfy couch/lounge chairs section. I had a mimosas carafe mixed with pineapple and cranberry juice which was pretty good, tart. As a starred I ordered the Rockerfellers oysters which came out hot and were savory. For my meal I had the hickory infused ribeye with two sides (sweet potato fries and Caesar salad). I really enjoyed the steak, I ordered it medium well and it was very juicy and tender.

This was one of the stops on the Halloween bar crawl and the bartenders seemed so confused when we mentioned the bar crawl menu, as if it wasn't the 4th night of it. Anyway, it took forever to get drinks figured out and one of the bartenders pretty much forgot about us, but thankfully the manager stepped in. I'd give them another try though, hoping it was just an off night

Service was OK. It could be quicker for sure but the food is amazing or worth to wait. Also they have very good. Margarita Tuesdays they have half of tacos and the steak is very flavorful.

Check out the Expresso Martini, made by SPENCER. Very smooth and tasty! Highly recommended! *** (Sit at the bar. Thank me later!)

I loved the brunch bowl here ! The chorizo and peppers with potatoes are delicious . There's a DJ on Sundays during brunch so be prepared for the loud music. You can ask to sit outside or away from the dj speakers . The mimosa tower was an enjoyable experience . We didn't wait long for the food , which is always a positive in my opinion . The steak tacos were seasoned and tender . I saw so many things I wanted to try so I plan on coming back again with family.

First time being here...and overall, enjoyed it, but... We were there on a night - during the week - with two big events taking place, so valet was a bit crazy, and seemingly chaotic. Walked in around 530, and the welcome board clearly read "Welcome to Pour Behavior...Open Seating", with no one at the hostess stand. Sooo...walked in to figure out seating for our group. The hostess immediately stopped me and said open seating was only at the bar. Oooookay...i see open tables wo RSVP tags...and we didn't want to sit at the bar, but okay. I was told RSVP's weren't needed Tues-Thurs...yet not the case for our Thursday night. So after negotiating, we were able to grab seats at one of the tables. Chloe was great and attentive. Drink choices were great, and we loved the pizza choices. Leaving was another issue. I'm sure valet is crazy busy on regular nights, but add to regular, two big events, and parking was chaotic. And add rain starting to that. One tent at the entrance, but then told to wait at the gate for our cars...no tent, no covering, nothing...and more rain started. Luckily one of cars arrived and we sat and waited for the others in an effort to stay dry. Out of party of four - only one of us might return to see what a normal night is like.

pour behavior is a party place! be prepared for loud music and lots of ppl! because it´s a party spot, i didn't expect my salad to be that good. but it was definitely good!! service is what you would expect from a party place-- chill and not overly attentive would definitely visit pour behavior again. when you go, make sure you bring a group of friends so you can get the mimosa tower! bonne appétit

In search of a party brunch scene, my gf and I went to Pour Behavior on a Saturday afternoon. To our surprise, it wasn't busy - at all - despite having the big screens on college football and a live DJ. We arrived at 3, but by 5pm, the place started to fill up. And there were a lot of birthdays and celebrations going on. First, the biggest standout to me was the service. We were given a great booth for just two of us, and the manager Liz stopped by to greet us, ask if we'd ever been there, then gave us a drink coupon to use at a later date. YES PLEASE. And our server (sorry, can't remember her name) tended to our table A LOT. The next stand out are the portions. My skinny mezcal marg was served in a goblet (jk) and the $16 chicken nachos could have served five people; the chicken wrap could feed 2-3. Do share your plates! And for brunch, they featured a "mimosa tower." There are a lot of photo opps inside and out, a patio, swings, valet... Would deg go back for daytime drinks or later in the eve.

Came here for a birthday on a Saturday so reservations were made prior, I'd assume if you're coming with a large group to do so as well because the restaurant was pretty much full. The service was amazing and there was a DJ playing some tunes. They brought out sparklers and a cake for the birthday girl. The food was also pretty good! Good weekend spot with the girls or just friends in general.

Where can I self park at pour behavior?

you can either park across the street from pour behavior on the side of the street. there is more self-parking around the bar on the sides of some streets you just have to find a spot that isn't a towing zone.

Is there a certain dress code or is it just casual for the brunch?

Hey Victor! The vibe here is smart casual. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all of our guests, athletic wear, excessively baggy or revealing clothing, exposed undergarments, slippers, house shoes, face tattoos, and bags or backpacks… Read more

    Any Saturday happy hour?

    No,

Can 20year olds go in? or is this only 21+

21 and up, you will be carded at the door.

How much is the valet parking?

You tip the valet attendant. They squeeze the cars in the lot but honestly they are good at not dinging your vehicle. It’s safer to valet than street parking.

    Where to park?

It's best to valet park. If not you will have to park on the street

What time does Wednesdays steak and lobster night start?

Our Steak and Lobster special is from 4-11 pm.

Is this place 21+ only? And if so what are some good bars in midtown/downtown that don't I'd at the door? I have a person under 21 in my group and don't want him to be left out

They will check your ID before entry, so it is 21+ only. I recommend the Heights Bier Garten as it's a public venue that you can freely enter.

I read in the comments people get turned away for dress code and it's not posted anywhere - what is the dress code?

Maybe call and ask? I noticed postings for a dress code before entering the building but I didn't see anything that actually stated the dress code.

    What's the dress code?

Don't believe there is one but they will check your ID at the front.

    Is it only 21+?

Yes, they check ID at the front before you enter.

Can reservations be made ahead of time for a large group?

    Yes!

    Are kids allowed?

It is a 21+ bar , so unfortunately no :(

Is there a age limit on who can enter?

    21+

I'm trying to get in contact with them however after emails , DM's and calls I still can't?

call 833-OBEHAVE for any reservations or questions!!

Is there a cover charge on Saturdays?

No cover charge. They don't have a cover charge for fight nights either!

What kind of music do they play?

    Edm mostly

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable. The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.

Social Beer Garden just doesn't do it for me. I've been once or twice years ago and recently…read moredecided to give it another try, hoping for a different experience, but unfortunately I still left unimpressed. To start out, the concept feels like a blend of accents from other popular bars in the area - the hammock chairs from Axelrad, the Adirondack chairs from Truck Yard, and the string light back patio from 8th Wonder. This blend makes it hard to give the bar a true identity. While they do have a large selection of beers on tap, their cocktail menu leaves me feeling lost. I appreciate the attempt to create unique flavor combinations but the options are just...confusing. For example, mezcal with citrus and prickly pear, or a highball with black currant, tequila and apricot. I'm holding on for dear life with all of these ingredients! Going along for the adventure, I tried their pickle cocktail that was on the menu and it was honestly, terrible. While they do have a happy hour that goes until 8pm, the service this last visit just wasn't the best. The server who helped me told me it was his second day and was clearly struggling to keep up with the cocktail combinations, referencing his phone many times while preparing the drink. I ended up not liking this drink and brought it back to the bar with just one sip gone and rather than offering to make me another drink, they kept it on my bill. Ok, whatever. That being said, just before this happened, the couple in front of me went to pay for their bill, prepared drinks in hand, at 8:02pm and the bartender refused to honor the happy hour prices, just two minutes past the official end time. With these two instances, it seems like the priority is maximizing every dollar of profit rather than investing in the customer experience. Given the number of other original concepts in the area, I would pass.

What really gives this place 5 stars for me is the food, which is surprisingly good for a sports bar, with my favorite being their chicken fried chicken! It's honestly my got-to spot to satisfy my CFC itch whenever I am craving it. They have rotating daily food specials, so be on the lookout for those. The only con of this place is parking which is always impossible to find despite having a parking lot, so I usually just walk there when I want to go.

Where to begin. The Phoenix, previously the Firkin, has been around for two decades. Going on…read morepast a decade since their name change is saying something is done right in a town chock full of sports bar options. There's a lot to like about it here. Parking is limited, but they do have a lot, which is nice. The inside has the typical pub feel you'd want if you're out to watch a game from first pitch. The patio is solid, with plenty of tables and cooling near them in the summer months. Food & Drink - 5* They have a pretty diverse selection of menu items to fit what you may be craving. Personally, it's hard for me to pass up the nachos and fish 'n chips. I find their fish and chips to be one of the best in the city. There's certainly others, but you won't be disappointed here. Nice crisp fry, big piece of cod, and some great fries. If anything could improve, I'm more of a crunch fry person over heavy oil, but to each their own. That isn't to say the fries are bad. Their tartar sauce is good. For beer, they have several options from regular domestics, to local crafts, to more global / EU focused beers that any respectable pub should have - Guinness , Hofbrau , Kilkenny all off draft and many more in bottle. Service - 3* Here's where it can be a little hit and miss. I've had times where it's quick or the table service was on point. I've had instances where when it's packed it can take a bit if you're not directly at the bar. I have also seen a couple of times where I'm charged more for the pint than the price on the menu. This happened on my most recent visit - $6 pint on the menu, charged $7.50. I don't know why they do this, at the end of the day, as someone who spent plenty of time in the industry, I'm just going to take it out of your tip for trying to play games with me. Do better. My guess most people don't pay attention and it's a way to bleed a slightly higher tip out. For me, it's about being ethical , straight forward, and deliver great service, you'll get rewarded. Cost - 4* Subjectively, I find their food to be priced fairly for what you get in terms of quantity and quality. This is a spot that while it is pub food, it is a spot you can come to even if you're not seeking to catch a game. Overall - 4* For anyone that is looking for an unpretentious bar, consistent food, and great vibes - this is a spot to check out. My only tiff is with the service. My advice, check your tab, particularly if you're with a group.
