Nice People; Nice Menu; Nice Truck But the sandwich was very plain and uninspiring. I ordered a Prosciutto Sandwich which according to the menu came with mozzarella, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I questioned the concept of mayo and prosciutto together as I had never had that kind of sandwich before, but it turns out I needn't had worried. There was barely enough prosciutto on the sandwich to register on my taste buds. Take a look at the open face photo took of the 2nd half of the sandwich. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/H-jjKBy_MxFQCaH6_nMiGQ?select=wF_aTVAeg8Q8oGFUR8vPsw The two thin slices barely overlap. My guess is the entire sandwich had about 1.0 to 1.5 ounces of meat. It was easily overwhelmed by the lettuce, mayo and ciabatta-looking but white bread-tasting bun. The cheese was a bit of an upgrade,. but I could have gone to Subway and gotten a 6 inch veggie on white for 3 bucks and been equally as underwhelmed. In fact, I should have just gotten one of the veggie sandwiches they offer here; some of them sounded good. Om a more positive note. this was only the 3rd day they have been in business, and the owners Fabiana and Luis seemed like nice people. Perhaps I would have been better off ordering the Pasta or the Empenadas, the sandwich was 6.95 including taxes, and they did offer Diet Coke in the 20 oz bottles for just a dollar more. So there is some value there; but c'mon Luis Prosciutto is about 10 bucks a pound retail. That's about 62 cents an ounce or less depending on which vendor you use. Raise the price a buck if you have to, but please provide a bigger portion. "Gourmet Food Truck #64 on my never-ending quest to try every truck in So Cal"

The design of the this truck gives off a hip and inviting vibe to it even if it's all dark with a couple of squiggly colored lines. So even if I just had a couple of other trucks I simply had to try something from there. In saying that, I didn't have much from this truck. But that's not because of a lack of quality. Just about everything on the menu looked pretty tasty, aslo pretty filling. My venture into this food truck was for a simple salad. A simple, yet really delicious caprese salad. And really cheap over all. I mean, the whole truck had a wide variety of sandwiches that landed in the $7-8 range. Which really were well packed. I was sort of regretting being already full when I hit this truck. The nono's prosciutto sandwich looked really good. As well as their grilled sandwiches looked pretty warm and tasty. But here I am with salad and like the Simpsons have taught us, you can't win friends with salad. But what a salad can win you is that final push to fullness. And that's where I was. Def. going to hit up this truck when I see them again since the salad itself was delicious, I can imagine the sandwiches will be nothing less in terms of quality.

Ordered Seb's Steak for togo! Was impressed at the speed the food came out, and at $9, it is pretty affordable compared to other food trucks. Seb's steak comes with flank steak, mozzarella, mayo, carmelized onions, greens, and tomatoes. The bun was toasted, and although there were only two pieces of meat, everything went very well together. Love how the sandwich comes with bell pepper! Great panini to order for lunch and on the go!

If you're going to advertise yourself as a maker of "gourmet sandwiches", you shouldn't use cheap, processed turkey.

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. More Parisien then Indochine, Nicholas deserves the unusually high rating it commands for the area. If you're in the Beverly Center and looking for a quality, high-value meal, Nicholas est la meilleur choix. Magnifique! Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value: 5/5

Yes, I know, we all wanna be skinny like those beautiful French girls... ;) But Sometimes.... You've gotta just ignore social norms and say F it! F is for French! lol Yeah, sometimes you've gotta just exclaim: "I'm gettin' the Burger and I'm most DEFINITELY getting the Fries!" And nobody and I mean Nobody is going to stop me! Yeah, that was me and my mindset when I was out at the Beverly Center back in August. Hey! It was lunch. I was hungry. & Nicolas Eatery was there to handle all my needs. And just like Napoleon Bonaparte would have done... I strolled in, I walked straight to the bar top, sat down, placed my napkin in my lap, ordered a burger, a side of fries and of course L.A's FINEST tap water. And just like that, instead of following trends... I was setting them! So what did I get you ask?? Le Beverly Burger of course!! This alongside their perfectly fried French fries which you know I dipped in Ketchup... Yes, I know, so American of me! =) Sadly, my only mistake I made on this day... I should have ordered my favorite French Beer, 1664 Kronenbourg.... Damn! But Lance, this Mall is so crazy, where the heck do I go?? Nicolas Eatery is located on Level 6, or "six" in French (Fun Fact: spelled the same, sounds totally different) and trust, my French is No Good! If you're able to snag a window seat, you will get a clear view of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign in the distance. Of course I went with the Burger, but trust, this place has more than just French Fries. -French Baguette with Butter -French Onion Soup -French Omelette But if want to drink like the French do... You know they've got a little vin (wine) or you can go with the classic French 75 cocktail. So, to this ai say: Be like the French. Eat like the French. Drink... Like the French and come start your own La Révolution! But instead of storming Bastille, storm Beverly Center and demand your freedom to order whatever the hell you choose from Nicolas Eatery! And after you're done, walk out proudly singing Viva La France!!!

FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks. AMBIENCE Sitting is spacious and clean, it's at the corner of the mall so it's not too crowded. There is enough space to put your shopping bags if you're trying to grab a quick bite around. Service is quite decent, the staff recommended the right stuff. It didn't take a long time for the food to be ready, good for grab and go. OVERALL I think it's a casual spot that serves healthy quick bites, it's a good option to sit down after or in between a shopping spree. It's not loud so you could definitely hold conversations here.

I HIGHLY recommend this sandwich if you're considering eating here at Lorenzo. The location is small - space for about 6 people inside and two small tables outside. First time here and opted for the Cotto, which had Prosciutto Cotto, truffle cream, brie cheese, lemon zest and truffle oil and black pepper for $22. Their homemade and freshly baked focaccia bread was sooo good! Toasted perfectly. Not too crispy, not too soft. Their finely shaved prosciutto felt like butter, along with the perfect combination of Brie and Lemon. SIMPLY DELICIOUS! Cynthia and Renato have brought an incredible sandwich spot to Beverly Hills! Cynthia took my order and she is as sweet as can be! And Renato was busy preparing all the orders. It was bustling with the lunch crowd so super busy but I was able to snag a spot inside and listen to the great music they had playing. I rarely give a five star review but I truly love this place! I definitely need to come back over and over again to try all the other sandwich options. One of the best!
