The Prattsville Diner is a wonderful place to dine - breakfast - lunch and dinner - and meet new people - love to all from Hollywood Joe - - see you soon - -

Classic diner fare, polite service, our eggs are perfect, the hash is crispy. And truth be told, I have to order their cornbread every time I go, even if I know I am going to be too full to finish it all. (I take it home for a snack) Cash only, but they have an arm machine. One day I want to go there for dinner and try the meatloaf. Also, get the corn nuggets for the table.

Delicious food and quick service. The waiter was a little rude but it's the food that mattered. When i went there wasn't many people there but the diner is small so i can imagine it gets pretty tight.

Eggs and hash (on the menu on the wall!) delicious! Would recommend getting the potatoes well done if you like them crunchy :)

Service is fast, menu is simple and the food is delicious. Love the benches to fit more people in a small space. Will definitely continue to come back for their laid back, country atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this dinner. I was in the area staying at a beautiful villa for the weekend while on a snowboarding trip. I ended up going here to get some food the day I arrive. I really like dinners because the normally have lots of different choices and this dinner sure did have options. They had so may specials that it was so hard to decide what to get. I enjoyed the food so much that I cane back again with a bunch of friends. I had the Chen wings the first time I went and the fried shrimp the second. They made a home made cocktail sauce and it was pretty good. I have never had it like that before. I will be try that again next time.

The Original Breakfast Special

Had breakfast at Prattsville Diner on Saturday morning. A simple diner that serves up cheap and delicious breakfast food. Quality: Before heading out on a hike, decided to load up on a big breakfast. And Prattsville Diner's Original Breakfast Special was just that. Two eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, and a pancake, with a coffee as well. Everything was high quality and I especially enjoyed the addition of a pancake to the meal, giving an excuse to douse the plate in syrup. Quantity: The Original Breakfast Special will not leave you hungry. Value: $11.50 for the Original Breakfast Special. Ambiance: Prattsville Diner is a local diner in the Upstate New York town of Prattsville. Near the Catskills, this is a simple breakfast spot that caters to the folks that live in the area. They have booths and tables around the edges of the space and a seating bar along the back wall. A few arcade games sit in the corner to entertain any children guests. They also had random knick-knacks on the walls, ranging from a deer head to autumn-themed towels. Crowd: A steady supply for locals who stop by every weekend, or even more frequently, for breakfast and coffee. Service: Small town diner, where the staff is super friendly and genuine with everyone. Parking: A few spots out front and free street parking in the area.

We tried the yuzu and also the matcha flavored shortbread/cookies. They were wonderful Then we had sandwiches - egg salad and also a ham and cheese. The sandwiches were super fresh and filled to the brim. She heated the ham and cheese one. Yummy! The bread is so delicious.$11 each sandwich - which actually felt like a bargain for the quality and quantity. Next time we will try the asparagus . Lots of cool Japanese pantry items in stock including hard to find specialty sesame oil and black sesame paste ..etc. I rarely give 5 stars - but between the service, the great food, and the chill atmosphere - this is a winner. We will be back! Arigato!

Great vegetarian options and gluten free options for cakes. The blueberry olive oil cake and apple cake were both delicious, super moist and soft-- the crumbly top was delicious and not too sweet. The egg salad sandwich with arugula was very tasty-- the artisanal bread was fresh and the egg salad was so creamy and savory. It also comes on round milk bread. Love how the sandwiches come in half and full portions making it easy to try different ones. We also tried the curried carrot, sprouts, and cream cheese sandwich was equally delicious and fresh-- a great vegetarian option. The ham and Gruyère sandwich with sundried tomato aioli was excellent-- thick slices of ham and cheese, really well-balanced and satisfying. Friendly owner who makes these delicious sandwiches throughout the day. Can't wait to go back! There is a small round indoor table for seating for a few people but most of it is for take out, which we happily did.

I will begin with the service, this is a order at the counter establishment - but everyone we dealt with was great and so friendly and the food and drinks came out very quickly. The chicken fingers were the best I have had in my life (and I am 58 so I have quite a few chicken fingers under my belt lol) and I loved all of the choices of dipping sauces. My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and raved about it. My daughter in law loved her Mac and Cheese and it looked absolutely delicious and creamy. One of my sons is vegan and he had quite a few options to choose from which is not only unusual but very refreshing. The table next to us got the burgers and the burgers looked TO DIE FOR. We get up to the area a couple times a year and we will definitley be back! Had we went earlier in the weekend, we would have revisited while we were there. Highly, highly recommend that you too, Brave the Flames.

What an incredible hidden gem! My husband and I are visiting the Catskills and were searching for…read moredinner places. We discovered this place thanks to a lovely bookseller at Briars & Brambles. This was the perfect comfort meal for my birthday. Clean self seated tables and order at the counter. The service was fantastic. The owner/chef came by to check in with us. Everything came out super fast. Reasonably priced, especially compared to the area. Very casual relaxed vibe. The star was the sugar shack mac and cheese (recommended to us). It was maple syrup, brown sugar crumble and bacon with mac and cheese. Definitely unique and well balanced. It's quite sweet and savory but super unique. The chicken tenders were some of the most flavorful fresh ones I've ever had. Like you think chicken tenders are basic but this was incredible. Also thanks to the staff for letting us do a side of hush puppies (it was only part of the Friday fish special). The shrimp basket and fries was a large portion and delicious. Love that you can get unlimited sauces for the food at $.31 cents a sauce. Alcohol is served and reasonably priced. Loved the non alcoholic fresh drinks. Husband had an Arnold Palmer (N/A) that was made fresh. We'll be talking about this meal for a long time.

It's a cute place and I love the wallpaper. I ordered food and the lady that took my order was having trouble focusing/ listening and added things to my bill. When I corrected her; she seemed to be paying attention, I thought she removed the item but she didn't. I order a drink (coffee) also and then changed my mind. When I told her I didn't want it she said she couldn't resell the paper cup to someone else. I know.... I know.. you must be thinking (WHAT it's just coffee!) I explained I didn't see the other sign with special drinks. So even though I wanted another drink that was more money, she kept it on my bill and gave it to me. That was when I decided not to go back ever again. Poor service, then I had added that specialty drink along with the coffee I got stuck with. Only to not ever receive it. I had to bother another girl to get my drink. She did tell me to wait she had to get this family's order first. That was rude. I waitressed before, so I can say that. Meanwhile I had finished my food (which was good) and coffee that I didn't want. I was there at least 30 mins and 15mins before the other family. They weren't busy. There was no excuse for poor service.
