As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. He provided an offer immediately and we told him we wanted to move forward. We provided the deposit and John ordered the LVP. We were leaving on vacation for a week and by the time we got back, it was another week before installation. It was perfect timing as we needed to remove furniture so they could work. We left the larger furniture in each room and the installers move them around as they installed the floor. On installation day, the crew showed up on time and ready to work! They were professional and hard working! They were also courteous and respectful. They did the floating floor over the existing tile and added wood where there was carpet. They explained how the glue would need to dry before we could walk on it, which was very helpful. After the 3rd day, the floors were done and they started on the baseboard and door casings. Jason worked hard to complete all the work, clean up after the install, and the entire project was done in one week. I am so impressed with this crew and Precison's communication with us. They did not tape off the wall that didn't need texturing. Their response was for me to wash the wall because the texture will come right off. The cracked areas of the drywall ONLY occurred on the areas that you worked on. NO OTHER AREA IN MY HOME HAS THIS. and this home was built over 20yrs ago. your work only lasted about a year. There was no illusion on the work of the raised drywall. I felt it and YOUR response when you felt it was that it was an illusion. A person with some sort of experience would know that there is an issue with the work if they felt it, but you just wanted to get your money and leave. You can change the format of your invoice after you see it was your job but it does no not change the fact that it was your work. I'm sure you don't like the review, but the work is sloppy. If you want to lie about it, it's fine, but people should know on who to bring in before they spend their hard-earned money to fix their homes.
