The ice wasn't enough so I asked for a ice on the side to make it colder for it to be easier to drink. The first couple sip reminds me of a boba shop inside Japan town in LA which is bomb gigity! . Specialty fruit tea , has passion fruit puree and white oolong peach flavor tea. So good and refreshing. I added popping boba instead of regular boba and some aloe Vera which is yummy. . Boba - chewy and has some sweet honey or in general sweet flavor. Chewy texture is great, not hard, not super soft but middle chewy which I like. . The interior has a couple tables and plain wall with artificial grass with neon light saying. It's cute and simple. . Overall I am fan. I will be back for more boba drinks when I'm in the area. I've had Presotea in SoCal and it was decent but I was a little let down since there was so much hype around it. This time around I tried the White Peach Oolong Tea w/boba and Lychee Milk Tea. I got the White Peach Oolong Tea with 50% sugar and it was still a good amount of sweetness with the bitterness of the tea. Something that's very refreshing! The boba was more on the loose side and didn't have much of a chew or bounce. The lychee milk tea was also good, however I wouldn't prefer lychee in my milk tea and would rather have it with a fruit tea. My boo actually really enjoyed it though! I honestly was super excited to try this place out and had high expectations. Inside it looks really pretty but since it was colder outside it ended up being like humid and almost steamy. I ordered on the kiosk and it was pretty easy. When my drink came I had one sip and was super confused cause I wasn't only tasting boba. I looked at my order on my receipt and I didn't add any extra toppings. I went up to the counter to ask and hopefully get it fixed, but the person that I spoke with told me "that's the wintermelon bits" and sort of shrugged. The menu never stated there would be these bits in the drink so I was taken aback. They did not offer to make it right or suggest something else. I was sort of given the cold shoulder after I asked add that was that. I would give this place a one star, but I am hopeful that I could get better service and a better drink if I were to come back. I ordered the taro milk tea with oat milk and 70% sweetness and crystal boba- it was alright. I'm not sure if it's because I ordered it with oat milk or if it's because I ordered less sweetness, but my drink was super watered down :-( I also didn't realize I ordered crystal boba (it was my first time having crystal boba) and I didn't really enjoy it :-(( One of my brothers ordered the Brown Sugar milk tea and another ordered the Hojicha milk tea both with oat milk- they were also confused why it seemed so watery. Not sure if it's the oat milk they use but everything was extremely watery. We've ordered the same drinks at other shops with oat milk and it was still tasty and sweet, but not here. Came for their grand opening since they had bogo and wanted to try it out! They were super busy when we walked in and you order on the kiosk which was pretty easy. It's about the same layout as big boba theory and there's about five tables and one small table so a good amount of seating. They have the cute led light sign to take photos with too! It's not as aesthetic as rose tea I got the genmaicha milk tea with boba and sub oat milk. I give it a 4/5 since the boba was alright and softer than normal places. This spot is also located in Laguna, which is right by the Target area and is a great option for the nearby college as well. The drink was refreshing just as I expected. I try not to have too much sugar whenever I order boba since I know that there's a lot of artificial flavoring. Even though I ordered 30%, it was still sweet (my mom said it tastes sour but she has a sweet tooth), so next time I would opt for 0% just to see the difference. Not to say other beverages aren't fantastic. The crème brûlée milk tea is a wonderful, sweet treat! The taro cloud is also a winner. If you don't know what to order, try this one. They brew their tea fresh for every cup, every single one. That just blows my mind. I wondered why their tea was so much better than other places and that's why. An OK tea place if you want a quick fix. They use espresso method to brew their tea bag. I don't think it affects the tea flavors in finished products. Or their teabag is just of average quality. Presotea is located in the Laguna Park Village plaza with plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. I had them in SoCal and liked them, so I was excited to get to try it again here. Not much service here, you order through the kiosk and wait for your drinks. There were not that much customers when I came, but my drinks took awhile to come out (about 15-20 minutes for 2 drinks). I ordered the Caramel Frappe with boba and Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. The Caramel Frappe was a bit too strong for my liking, it did not have that much sweetness to it and the drink did not taste cold at all - it tasted lukewarm. The Jasmine Milk Tea was not that creamy from what I had at their other location and it tasted bitter and lukewarm, so it was hard to enjoy. read more

The passion fruit green tea was tasty especially with the real fruit pulp in it. I added black pearls to the drink and although the pearls were a bit too soft for my liking I liked how well they absorbed the fruit juice from the pulp and became strongly of passion fruit flavor. The coffee jelly added to the earl grey milk tea didn't do much (didn't really taste any coffee) but this milk tea was still very good; nice amount of earl grey tea in it. Big disappointment on the hojicha milk tea w/ pudding; very watered down tea flavor (could only really taste the sweetener) and the pudding was bland. Hard pass on this drink. The other side effect of no internet is that they were unable to take card payments - cash only and no receipt given. On the bright side, the service was fast - my drink came out within five minutes. The prices are pretty standard but lean towards the higher end of the spectrum. It's a little disappointing that they don't offer any savory food. YUM! Went in today for our boba fix. Tried this place for the first time. This place has a cute green wall inside for your social media needs. It's a very cute establishment. We got the a-li shan, which is sweet, but light at the same time. The brown sugar creme brûlée was VERY sweet, but very delicious with the creme brûlée chunks. Presotea has taken over the old Big Boba Theory location and I am a fan! They've updated the decor and added in the touch screen kiosks for ordering. I've had a few different drinks including the milk tea, jasmine tea, and strawberry fruit tea. The boba is super soft and chewy with a nice hint of sweetness. They also have rainbow jelly which my little one loves. There are also a lot of different tea options and the drinks taste like freshly brewed teas, not powdered. Service has always been quick and friendly despite there being a big crowd most of the times I've stopped by. Only downside is the cost of the drink since toppings are a la carte and $.60 each. The Ceylon milk tea okay, but the worst part was the boba tasted old and was very mushy. I ended up just throwing out the boba since it was gross. Yay! Another boba shop in Elk Grove. Lol this one is out of the way for me but I happen to be in the area yesterday and decided to grab a quick drink. They have a kiosk where you can order. This was nice as it was my first time and I didn't feel pressured to hurry and order. They also have photos of every drink, which is very helpful. The kiosk doesn't take cash though, so make sure you have your cards or apple pay! My two drinks took awhile to prepare but I noticed they did text me stating it was a 15-20 min wait. That's convenient that they text your receipt and wait time. I noticed they were playing OG BTS at one point and I just love that!!! I had their lychee black tea which was really black tea infused with lychee but the lychee flavor was very subtle. Even at 100% sweetness. I would probably order it again with lychee jelly for more of a lychee flavor. My husband had their viet coffee and it was good, just a little sweet. One of the worst wintermelon teas that I had ever tasted. The boba was slightly hard and there was a slight sour after taste to my tea. I added aloe, but that shouldn't have changed the taste. The aloe was weirdly crunchy unlike the usual refreshing chew that you normally experience with aloe. It felt like I was taking a bite of a water chestnut or red tapioca. Definitely better boba options in the area, but I saw a decent rating and it was already within the same parking lot of where I was. You order through a kiosk so no interaction was needed and for a store that was pretty empty, the time it took from ordering to receiving the drink was slow. read more

I came across Presotea on Instagram prior to their soft opening announcement. I've been patiently waiting their opening because they took over the old location of one of my favorite boba shops that closed recently. When I walked in, it was completely unrecognizable! They kept the same layout but did a full remodel. It looks beautiful and very modernized. I came during soft opening day and was happy to see that I didn't have to wait in a long line yet! They have two ordering kiosks but there was also someone taking orders at the main register also. I also saw that you can order ahead via Snackpass online in case you don't have time to wait. I ordered: -Strawberry Fruit Tea: I love a great fruity drink so I was excited about this one. This one is a white peach green tea with real strawberry purée. It was sweet from the strawberry without being too tart. My only downside was that the strawberry kept sinking to the bottom no matter how much I mixed it before every sip. But I think this can be easily fixed if the purée is less thick. -Flan Cafe Frappe with pearls: The flan topping caught my eye when I was going through the menu. It's unique and you don't see this at every boba shop! The flan makes the drink super creamy. Combine that with the warm and fresh boba, it's a solid drink! I'm not usually a blended drink fan but I'd get it again. -Taro Cloud with pearls: The prettiest of the bunch! Can't go wrong with classic taro. It wasn't anything special that I can't get elsewhere but it was a great flavor nonetheless. Perfect for those that like the artificial taro (like me) and not the real taro purée. The pearls are so soft too and melt in your mouth with the cold smoothie. -White Peach Oolong Milk Tea with pudding: although this isn't the most picturesque, white peach milk tea is one of my favorite flavors so I always try to order anytime a boba shop has it on the menu! The peach is so fragrant and probably the best white peach milk tea I've ever had. The pudding is also super creamy. Service was great! I think it was the owner or manager who helped me and he was very patient and helpful. He estimated 10-15 minute wait but all four of my drinks were done in less than 10 minutes. Yay new boba spot in town! One thing that always gets my attention about boba spots is their interior design. Presotea definitely didn't lack in that area. Spacious, lots of seating, and simple decor. The customer service is great too! I don't usually have bobaristas come and check on me to see how I am doing/if I need anything. Friendly staff. As for their drinks, I got the lychee strawberry slush and blueberry fruit tea. I ordered 75% sweetness for both and I loved how the drinks were not overly sweet. It was just the right amount of sweetness. The boba balls were sweet and chewy too! For their milk teas, I ordered the Genmaicha milk tea and crème brûlée milk tea. The Genmaicha drink was so roasted and fresh. It tasted pretty good! As for the crème brûlée drink, it's a classic! You can't go wrong with it.
