New and cute boba shop in town! We stopped by for a soft opening today and was able to order from the self kiosk right away. We weren't sure what drinks to order so we asked the owner what his recommendations were. He was so kind to help us order the following drinks: wintermelon and hojicha milk tea, flan cafe frappe, signature fruit tea, and brown sugar pearl milk tea. From ordering to having our drinks in hand took 5-10 minutes which was super quick. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and even took the time to come to our table to asked if we needed anything else. We definitely appreciate some good customer service as they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Drink(s) review: - Wintermelon and hojicha milk tea: It's very nutty and aromatic. They make their own wintermelon purée which blends perfectly with the panda boba we included with at the bottom. Every sip contains bits and pieces of the wintermelon. Pretty cool concept and definitely a unique drink specialized here. - Flan cafe frappe: If you like you Frappuccinos try this! It has a medium coffee flavor that contains flan in bite size pieces at the bottom of the drink. If you like your coffee on the sweeter side, order it with 100% sweetness, 70% sweetness wasn't sweet enough for us. It's a really cool twist to your regular coffee orders anywhere else! Coffee lovers give this a go! - Signature fruit tea: We ordered with 70% sweetness and boy at first it wasn't sweet, but we found out most of their fruit teas have to be shaken because the puree sits at the bottom. After mixing, the aroma and perfect blend of fruits makes it the perfect summer drink! It's light and refreshing. Yum! - Brown sugar pearl milk tea: Hands down our favorite of the four! It's perfectly sweet and creamy. We got it at 70% sweetness and thought it was perfect. Our friend got it at 100% and it tastes like drinking captain crunch cereal milk! The boba is on the smaller side but still has a good chew and is sweet. Drinks are standardized to one size & they definitely don't skimp out on toppings! You can order through door dash or pick up too. Don't miss out on this new boba spot in the Big 5 & Taco Bell plaza. We're for sure coming back since it's down the street from us! First time here! I ordered the Wintermelon Hojicha milk tea with 100% sweetness, less ice and with boba. This was the most basic drink (considering the wait time ~15 min) I should've read the description, and noticed the puree possibly in my drink, tasted like potatoes for sure. The boba was too soft for sure - tasted like store bought boba IYKYK. Although, there were good aesthetics, and chill music for the vibes and seating areas which is why it deserves the 3rd star. Came by Sunday for soft opening and was pleasantly surprised by how good their drinks are. I didn't go in w/ expectations but it wasn't busy which was a plus. I love the vibe and the decor. I got the brown sugar milk tea w/ boba 70% sweet because I wasn't sure if it was going to be tooo sweet and my husband got their classic Pearl Milk Tea at 100% sweet. I could have definitely done 100% sweet on the brown sugar but it's okay, still tasty! I enjoyed my husbands drink more. I also love their boba texture and it's size. Can't wait to go back! Wow, I was excited, a Prestotea was here in Elk Grove. This brand has a lot of hype and I was excited to try them. The ambiance was great and welcoming, two kiosks made it easy to order, however I was disappointed, the drinks were not great at all. The creme brulee was not very tasty and the boba had no sweetness to it. My son didn't like his cloud drink either. Everyone has different tastes, so I don't want to discredit their product. This place is me and wife's favorite milk tea store in Elk Grove! They have a large drink menu with different varieties of crafted tea, milk tea, and blended drinks. We've tried most of them and they all taste very good! The boba is especially chewy and not very sweet. Most drink can be customized for sugar level and that's very helpful for us who don't like our teas to be too sweet (their drinks are not overly sweet). My favs are the A-Li Shan milk tea and Sakura Cloud drinks. The service here is always good & fast. They have kiosks that can be used to quickly order and wait for drinks (very convenient!) . The store is new and it's very clean inside with plenty of tables / seats. They also have weekly specials on drinks and their reward system is great! Hope they continue to do well ! I asked for a cup holder and the employee gladly gave me a bag and bagged up my order for me which was very kind of her. The interior is basic and clean. Not too flashy, and there is a simple wall for pictures if you'd like. Overall didn't like the drinks. The mango cloud was very basic. Tasted like blended sweet water. I really enjoyed this boba shop! I really like the honey brown rice milk tea from Itea and the Gen Maicha Milk Tea tastes exactly like that! So good! You go inside and order on the kiosk and then the employees make the drinks. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink so far. They also tell you to let them know if you don't like your drink and they'll remake it. Man, i never write reviews but holy today was bad. we ordered a thai tea and an oolong tea both with boba and we were wholly disappointed. Not sure if today was just an off day or the tea and toppings are of this quality, as im just passing through the area. The thai tea tasted nothing like tea, just coffee creamer and our oolong tea was soggy watered down we didn't get any of the oolong flavor. The boba was soggy and almost every pearl had the texture of jello and mush and none of the sweetness, feels like the boba had just been sitting out all morning and we just got the leftovers that were supposed to get thrown away (we came late afternoon). For the white peach, I tasted more milk than tea. I expected more aroma coming from an oolong tea, so I was disappointed. I felt like I was drinking milk more. For the brown sugar, it was the complete opposite. It was too bitter. I expected it would be sweeter hence it was brown sugar with 100% sweetness. Not sure what type of brewing method they're using or the quality of the tea... Boba though was chewy and cooked perfectly. Service was fast since they had like 4 staff when I was there. Presotea is the new boba shop in town. I genuinely don't know how to pronounce their name unfortunately. It looks very modern and cool in there. They have a nice backdrop for pictures. At first glance of the their menu, I don't see anything unique here, just the regular boba menu that you would expect. They have 2 kiosks to aid with ordering which is cool. It was a tad confusing because we received a text that our order was ready, but it wasn't actually. When it comes to taste, I would say that the drinks look better than they taste. My white peach milk tea lacked flavor. It tasted watered down. I do think the boba consistency was good tho, but the boba also lacked flavor. My friend's drink was the Wintermelon milk tea, and it came with some other additional topping, which was odd. In summary, I'd be happy to try this place again...but without a unique drink or specialty, it may be hard to compete with the other boba shops in the area. read more

I went here twice already after finding out they're opening this location. As I liked the Presotea in Socal. First time was good , boba is soft and chewy. The wintermelon milk tea is good. But this time I went and ordered the Thai Tea. My bf or I unfortunately did not like it and would not recommend. The thai tea has a weird creamy taste that lingers, not like any usual Thai teas from other places i've had. Also we ordered less ice but it looks looks like no ice, leaving the drink a lil warm. I usually can try to finish my drinks if it's decent but these drinks had a funky taste and I didn't finish them. My white peach oolong tea tasted like perfume fragrance. The matcha latte had no sign of sweetness at normal sweetness. The wintermelon had an okay flavor but did not taste like the traditional drink at all. I tried out a couple options that weren't good so I most likely won't be returning. The service was alright, don't really get to see the employees greet you because they're behind the kiosks. Good teas! I live in the citrus heights area and drove about 30-40 mins to get here! I would say it's worth the drive :) I like that they have a little kiosk and you can ordee there instead of talking to someone! The menu is simple but still has a good selection!
