This is the second location of Prespa's that my friend and I have tried. Limited parking available in the strip shop and small dining area. We were greeted immediately as it was just after 11AM. The salad, house dressing, bread and entrees were delicious!! Great portions with plenty of leftovers to take home. I deducted a star due to the mandatory $2 charge to split entrées in the kitchen; the other location does it happily with no charge. read more

Took a group of friends while in Arlington to lunch and this great Italian has vegetarian items. Robbie was our server and kept our glasses full. The food was delicious. Went here today for lunch. Got angel hair spaghetti. The sauce was very very bland. The bread was hot/fresh and the pasta was cooked well, but the sauce ruined it. I picked this up to go and the young girl manning the front was getting help from the cook with cutting tomatoes. Once he showed her, they both looked up and saw me, but she went back to cutting the tomatoes-- no acknowledgement of me standing there. She only stopped because the phone rang. She answered the phone and still did not acknowledge me. She put the person on hold then asked my name. Beyond the fact that I wasn't greeted, she did not have gloves--so she went from cutting tomatoes, answered the phone, scratch her head several times while on the phone, touched all of the surfaces--all gloveless. As I was leaving she turned to go back to cutting tomatoes and I can only assume she did not wash her hands before continuing. Due to these issues, I will not be returning. I really don't care about not being greeted; it's the taste of the food and the unsanitary actions that did it for me! read more

The cooks are great, and make so many delicious Italian meals, with hot bread and garlic or plain butter! Drinks you purchase are sodas and iced tea. Water is free. Prespa's is a family favorite. My parents stumbled upon it a few years ago and it's not our go to family celebration spot. The stuffed mushrooms and Jerusalem Chicken are my favorite, but we have tried everything from pizza and stomboli to lasagna. Everything we try is good. The bread is always soft and warm. Staff is friendly and accommodating which is nice. The restaurant is small but cozy. Feels like a hole in the wall place and it's definitely a "local" spot. read more

Absolutely incredible dinner! Came here with my family and everything we ordered was so full of flavor. Plenty of seating as well and service is spectacular. The restaurant has a family feel for sure which is something I really love about a space. Spaghetti with meatballs, chicken alfredo, and chicken marsala were all excellent choices. Our meal was served with fresh bread and butter/olive oil followed by an absolutely flavorful side salad. Highly recommend the house vinaigrette for your side salad. Limoncello was the dessert offered tonight and I obviously had to get a slice for home. Very, very good! We will definitely be back soon. read more

This is our goto place for great Italian food. We have been going there every Saturday for more years then I can remember. Great menu, but my favorite dish is the Linguini in white clam sauce best I ever had. Service is awesome, You will have bread on the table 1 minute after you sit down. Entire staff is very friendly. Has dinner here the other night! We enjoyed our meal of Chicken Parmesan and pasta sampler. We also shared a piece of limoncello cake. We like our sauce on the sweeter side and this fit the bill! Delightful little strip-mall type of restaurant, Prespa's is a great example of not judging a book by it's cover. Tonight was our first visit. We were greeted promptly & allowed to seat ourselves. They offer a selection of booths and tables, and they have a decent amount of seating. The decor is adequate for an Italian restaurant - they are not over-doing it. The restaurant is BYOB. I did not notice a corkage fee on the menu. They do provide bottle opener & glasses. The garlic rolls were fresh, warm, and garlicky (that IS a plus). A salad was $1.00 extra with my entree but not my companion's...as it appears is the case with the baked pasta dishes. The Pasta Trio ($7.95) came with Lasagna, Cannelloni, & Manicotti. It was hard to distinguish where the latter two began & ended, however, the sauce was extremely fresh and tangy, and the cheese was plentiful. The entree was served piping hot as well. The Chicken Parm dinner ($10.95) came with a substantial potion of spaghetti & red gravy. It was well-seasoned, but the chicken was the slightest bit over-cooked. Still, for $10.95, it's better than anything at that certain chain "Italian" joint...mainly because the sauce is so robust. The servers could easily be dressed in white dress shirts and black ties. They are not. Instead, they are dressed casually (t-shirts, shorts, etc). Service was prompt, not spectacular. Locally-owned restaurants are just too hard to find in this area, especially those who get it. If they could improve anything, a better selection of appetizers would be nice. Having said that, I would hate for them to over-complicate things. I am looking forward to ordering a lunch time pizza for pick up. They had a lot of to go business, even at dinner, and they advertise $5.95 lunch specials...so this gal is definitely going back for more. read more
