Update: I rarely write update reviews but felt that I had to in this instance, especially because of what an ordeal it's been. My hot water issue started last January; it's been a full year! Anyway, Omar is seriously the best! I texted him multiple times over the span of a few months because I was still experiencing issues on and off again with my hot water and was paranoid that the issue was stemming from the water heater. I cleaned out my faucet aerators and showerhead and after only one month, they had become completely clogged up with rocks, minerals, and calcium buildup. It was shocking! Pictures attached. I started cleaning them out weekly because of how quickly they would clog up. I even had a plumber come out to look at the pipes and fixtures. The plumber cleaned out the showerhead, reinstalled it, turned on the water, took the showerhead off again (all in the span of about 5 minutes) and the showerhead was completely clogged up with mineral buildup again. Disgusting!!! The clogged aerators ended up slowing water flow which would turn off the water heater, causing me to lose hot water. Omar gave me a ton of information and resources so I could learn more about my problem and options to resolve the issue without burning a huge hole in my pocket. Water softener or water filter system for the entire home is not in my budget right now. Because the water in my city is pretty hard, he suggested either installing a filter or a ScaleRx onto the tankless water heater. I ultimately decided to get the ScaleRx installed. Price was very reasonable. Omar descaled the tankless, installed the ScaleRx, and showed me how to descale the tankless water heater on my own to save money going forward. I'm not a handyperson at all but I've learned a lot about plumbing and water heaters from this entire experience. Omar also texted me a few weeks later to check in and see if I've noticed a difference in the calcium buildup. It's been about a month since installation. I cleaned out the aerators and faucets/showerhead right after installation and there's minimal buildup so far. I'm just grateful I won't need to soak my fixtures in vinegar every couple weeks anymore. Photos attached are of the faucet aerators, all taken one month after cleaning them. I cleaned the aerators at the beginning of November. The pictures of the aerators with all the mineral buildup was taken at the beginning of December. Omar installed the ScaleRx in mid-December. The pictures of the clean looking aerators were taken today, mid-January. It's been a world of difference! I know the ScaleRx won't 100% keep the all the rocks and minerals away and I'll need to descale the tankless every year, but it's definitely helping to minimize the buildup. I had the first annual maintenance done on my tankless water heater by Omar back in July of 2023. I figured I'd let it run for about 6 months before reviewing. I can honestly say that the unit seems like it's running more efficiently and there are no issues. Omar even took care of some installation mistakes the previous owner/company made at no charge. Omar came to my house to get estimate for water heater, but never sent me an estimate nor responding to my message since.

I called the manufacturer of our water heater, as it was backfiring and they gave me Innovate's number to call and do a warranty repair. I called and spoke to Omar, who immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I told him when I was available to have him come and fix it and he completely worked around my schedule. I've been having problems with my Rinnai water heater. After running hot water for 5 minutes, the water turns cold. It gave error code 12 shown at the water heater unit. I called more than 5 plumbers and told them the error code and the issues. All of them wanted to do a diagnostic/troubleshooting first before they can give me a price estimate to fix it... until I called Omar at Innovate Waterheaters. When you want someone to find the root cause of your water heater issues Omar is the Professional you need, I had multiple plumbers show up to try and fix water heater and I still had problems. Inspected and ran diagnostics to properly troubleshoot problem. solved it and now I have hot water. they advised me that water heaters should be maintained yearly as stated on the Installation manual.
