It's been six weeks since Terrance came and sprayed pesticide to get rid of the subterranean termites. True to his word, it took a couple weeks for the signs of termite activity to disappear because they have to carry the pesticide back to the colony. Now, our house is free of termite activity. Terrance did the inspection, described what he would do, and quoted me the best price of three companies. It was half the cost of one of them. He came and did all the work himself. He was efficient, worked hard, and even dealt with pulling up some weeds to get access to the side of the house. To sum it up, he's professional, honest, and competent. read more

When we moved a rug in a little used room, we discovered one of the floorboards had turned partially hollow. Terrence responded to our call quickly, fit us in a couple of days later, turned up on time and promptly let us know that: (1) Yes, we had drywood termites (2) Given how close we were to neighbouring properties, tenting wasn't an option (3) He could fit us in in two working days for local treatment, and could also fit in an appointment with our upstairs neighbours to check their place out as well He showed up promptly to do the work, looked at a couple of other areas we had some concerns about and gave us the all clear, and then set to work. I am so glad I called Terrence/Priceless Termite Control. When I moved into a new house about 6 months ago, the disclosure documents noted wood-dirt contact in the crawl space under the house, making that area vulnerable to termites. However, with that disclosure came what I considered to be a ridiculously exorbitant cost estimate for the work. So, I wound up procrastinating for months, then decided to call Terrence. Although he charged an initial inspection fee (which was quite reasonable), this was ultimately credited to the work that he performed; overall, I felt this was a better way to go than to call any of the companies that offered so-called "free" inspections, but then try to upsell you work you don't need, or try to sell you some kind of subscription service, which I did not want. Terrence did none of those things. He is a straight-ahead guy, and I felt that the costs of using him were quite fair (and nowhere near the ridiculous estimate which came with the disclosures). Terrence was also easy to work with, and explained the treatment thoroughly (even showing me a video he took on his cell phone of the termites he found moving along one of the posts under the house). He arrived on time, both on the day of the initial inspection as well as the date he performed the work. I also appreciate the 3-year warranty, and the fact that he cares about his work to the point that he asked me to call him 6 months later to view the effects of his treatment. He did a very detailed, professional walkthrough and made sure we understood exactly where the problematic areas are and why he gave his assessment. Subterranean termites are difficult to treat so he recommended injecting pesticide into the foundation and came back the next week as scheduled to perform the work.
