My local pizzeria conveniently located right across the street from where I live! Thankfully, the food is amazing! I am obsessed with their penne alla vodka with grilled chicken it's my go to, for the most part! The pizza is great too, but pasta is my weakness. I also love the hot sandwiches like the shrimp or chicken Parmesan! The service is great. This is a local business and the owner is usually always present and him and his crew are always nice and sometimes throw in extra garlic knots for the orders! If you're ever around the area, definitely try this place and again, I highly recommend the penne alla vodka and chicken parmesan, the portions are huge and don't match the price you pay it's totally worth it!! read more

Great pizza!! The only problem is when ordering through Grub Hub. When the pizza is delivered, the delivery person has no idea that the order was already paid online through Grub Hub. The delivery person needs to be informed of who has already paid and who owes money. It's awkward when you are getting food delivered and the delivery person is waiting for money when you paid already. read more

We have been picking up pizza (and sometimes full entrees) from Prima Pizza & Pasta for about a year. At first, it was just occasionally ... but in the 4+ months since the pandemic began, we've been ordering almost every Saturday or Sunday to give me a break from cooking one day a week. I really love the original grandma pizza! They make the best, the sauce is so tasty and the crust is crunchy. All over it's a very busy place as I saw and the owner Joe is making sure people get quality pizza and service even if the stuff are being super busy with orders and have a lot to do. Put us on hold 5 minutes after answering rudely and then when they do answer they tell us "we can't wait on the phone for you to talk about your order. You're either going to order your pizza or you're not." What place of business answers people like that? I'm spending my money at your place of business, learn how to treat people. This place sucks. I stopped here or some lunch because the "$1.00 slice" lunch special seemed appealing. Its a false advertisement. The $1.00 slice is a "Jr." slice looks like a slice made in an Easy Bake Oven. So I got two regular Sicilian slices that I will admit looked delicious, but looks didn't match. They were BLAH and undercooked. The best way to describe it would be dough with red paste and cheese. The sauce had no flavor. They advertise "award winning" wings, but I wouldn't waste my money on trying them. Their fountain soda was terribly flat and warm. The Italian ice selection seemed good, but as I was there a woman got an ice and the owner shared a seemingly tall tale about the crystallization of the sugar in the ice. The pizza pies and the garlic knots are solid. Occasionally, the pie can be overcooked but for the price i forgive and forget. Pies are $10 for pick up only. The owner is very eccentric and takes pride in his pizza and prices. I've seen this guy give an old woman shit for telling him his slices are too expensive - made me smile. If you tell this owner you like something, there is a chance he'll order it. I told him I like mint chip ice next thing you know he orders a tub of the stuff. I like Sierra Mist. Definitely the best pizza in Queens Village. We ordered a large pepperoni with bacon all over it, and they didn't skimp. The pizza was moist, and really flavorful. It had a good balance of ingredients and it came piping hot. Their garlic knots were not oily at all, it was warm and had lots of garlicky goodness. I also tried their italian ices i wasn't a huge fan of the creamy coconut. But the regular coconut was really yummy. read more

I've ordered from this place a few times and the food was good so I decided to continue going there, but this particular night the service was so horrible. First of all, I called and ordered the frontera pizza with a chicken roll and a salad and the guy on the phone didn't even know what the frontera pizza was, I should have taken that as a bad sign that he had to put me on hold to check his own menu - so anyway I ordered and was on my way to pick up, when we got there they told my boyfriend they didn't have the chipotle sauce for the frontera pizza and someone ran out to get it! Lol wth?! I was so confused, they could have told me that on the phone and we would have ordered something else, so we had to wait an additional half an hour and ended up having to order another pizza, they also ran out of sausage and told another customer over the phone sorry we don't have any sausage. What kind of pizzeria isn't stocked with the proper ingredients on a Saturday night?! I'm sorry but this place and its disorganized staff will not be getting my money again - what a waste of time. Their pizza is okay. We've been going to them for the past 10 years. But there's always an issue. Everytime I want to order something besides a regular slice, they take forever to prepare it. Also, when we went there for the first time, we asked about their menu. The guy with the mustache.. I'm guessing he's the owner.. rudely told my mom that the menu is right in front of her so just read it. Then today I called to ask what time they close and the guy - I'm guessing it's the same guy with the mustache - rudely said please hold. I would give 0 stars if I could. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I live 10 minutes from the shop. Ordered one pie, a small one, and the ordered was confirmed 10 mins after I ordered it at 12:50. I then received a notification maybe 15 mins after that the order would be done at 2:12. That already is a VERY long time to wait for a small pizza. After my pizza never arrived I called and the man that answered sounded very indifferent, not interested and said he needed more time. More time? It's been 1.5 hours!! The food here has excellent days as well as bad days. The first time I got pizza from here, I was in heaven. Absolutely delicious with the right amount of everything. I've had their prosciutto panini as well and I loved it. However, when I decided to take my sister here, the pizza we got was very bland and a little undercooked. Despite this, when we asked for it to be heated more, they honored our request -the workers here are respectful and courteous. I'll definitely go back here often. read more

Pizza tastes bad, and they need to take down the $1 pizza sign, it's $1 for a kids size slice. I ordered two plain slices and was charged $2 a slice, when I asked why if it clearly says $1 pizza I was told "Oh I'm sorry, that's for the kid slices" which I didn't even know they offered. I was never warned when ordering that the deal is only for the kids size pizza slice. You're better off going to any of the other local pizza shops. read more

Deep dish pizzeria. Not often seen around here. At one point in my life this was my Side-chick Friday pizza joint. Deep dish is extremely filling and oily. They did a good job with it though and it's a reliable place. Nice Ice somehow took it over and it became more known for the ices. read more
