We've hired a lot of movers in Los Angeles, but none have been as friendly and efficient as K and Jon. They took extra care with all our belongings, and in particular were excellent with our TVs. They basically built a box around our LG OLED which is super thin. We also got a better price than our first move five years ago from a competing company, with a cash discount. The lead moving specialist, Mike, and his crew of 2 other men were efficient, helpful, and personable. They did a great job of disassembling and assembling our items. Additionally, they were attentive to asking me exactly where I wanted our boxes and items placed, despite my lack of labels on some of them. One of the best parts of Prime Moving, besides their friendliness, was their transparent and all-inclusive pricing. What they quote you, is 100% what it cost, in my experience. I appreciated that fact. Many of the movers I contacted had several additional costs associated with the move. Prime's cost was the moving cost + a one-time gas fee. For whatever moving needs I have in the future, I will be contacting Prime Moving first! read more

I'm doing mission operations for a satellite and needed to literally move my whole apartment in one day into a storage unit so I could stop commuting back and forth and focus on my job. The storage unit closed at 7, so we had to really hustle - it wasn't enough people, and they were awesome! Then the storage unit was basically an escape room when we got there! They spoke Russian, and I spoke only English, but we were able to work as a team to get everything into the storage unit before it closed, and it took a lot of teamwork to make it happen. Prime moving was so fast and reliable. They took careful care of my items while packing our storage unit and did not spend any downtime between tasks. They had supplies for us to use to keep our items safe. We were able to borrow wardrobe boxes for a fee that got returned when we returned them after unpacking. We had a 10x20 storage units and it was completely packed from top to bottom without any issues. Even the owner of the storage facility was impressed. We even had them unpack our unit to move out into our new home and they helped assemble new furniture. We requested the same team for our pack up and pack out because they worked very well together. They require a $100 deposit to book the moving date. There was an extra $150 heavy item fee for the smoker which is fair because that thing is super heavy. Tom was responsive when I called to ask about the possible issue with the weather. I tried emailing and messaging through Yelp with no luck. The team was supposed to arrive at 8:00. I called Tom and was updated they were running late. They showed up at 8:40. The team consisted of Ken, Bars, and John. They were very hard working and efficient. One of the best moving teams I've hired so far. The only thing is they weren't able to take apart the elliptical machine to move it through an angled hallway into the bedroom. They tried their best to make it fit through but it was simply too wide where the handles are. The first moving team I had took it apart and moved it. The main reason why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 was the handling of the damages. My landlord had scuff marks and gouges from the dolly use on the stairs even though Ken, Bars and John were very careful. All we were told is that the marks clean up. After my landlord attempted to clean up, a mark remained as did the gouges. No response from Tom after I sent him the updated photos. Very disappointing. Thank you Ken, Bars and John! You made a stressful day much easier for us! read more
