Wow! Ordered delivery from here for the first time and I am blown away. I ordered butter chicken, chickpeas, and samosas. The butter chicken is deeper in color than I am used to and so flavorful. Came with rice and was a great sized portion. The samosas were huge and pretty standard samosas with a tamarind and green chutney. The stand out was by far the chickpeas. I have tried chick peas all over and make my own and these chickpeas are the best I have ever had. Fresh veggies in them and sprinkled with cilantro. All my food arrived on time and piping hot. This is a Indian restaurant hidden inside a pizza restaurant. I haven't tried their pizza yet but the Indian food is quite good. I ordered chicken Tikka masala with a side of chickpeas. It was very spicy which I like. Second time I ordered chicken karahi and chicken biryani. Also very tasty. There's a lot of pizza in town but I think this place has some of the best Indian food in Woodbridge area. read more

** DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE** Decided to try out this restaurant yesterday... when the food arrived (which took almost two hours to get here, even though I live 10 minutes away) every thing looked great. I have a large family so we all shared the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and aloo gobhi. The two chicken dishes were tough and chewy and there was an extraordinary amount of sugar in the butter chicken dish. The aloo gobhi had so much oil and grease in it, I had to dab it with a paper towel. In fact, the amount of oils seeping through all the lids and onto my tile counter top was disturbing. It even left a red stain on the grout between the tiles. But even after all of this, I wouldn't have left one star if it wasnt for the fact that my entire family (including myself) came down with the most horrendous food poisoning. I cannot tell you how disgusting it is to be exploding from both ends with Prime Tandoori indian food, which wasn't even that good to begin with!! I will never be ordering from them again. read more

It saddens me to write this, because I have ordered from here in the past and it was good. I ordered DoorDash, and got a Sprite, the butter paneer, extra rice, cheesecake, and raita. The whole reason I ordered was for the Sprite, which I didn't get. The cheesecake was old and COMPLETELY frozen, like I couldn't get a fork in it. It had different colors on it, which is how I know it's old. The raita was so salty, I couldn't eat it. The paneer had no flavor, and the sauce was super sweet, but was sour and tasted off. The rice had absolutely no flavor. After taking a bite of everything, my stomach started to hurt. I can say the preparation was fast, and the food arrived hot. DoorDash was kind enough to refund my money, and I got On The Border, it was great. If you want Indian food, I would pay the extra $2 on Ubereats, and order from Raaga Tandoor in Burke. I got word of Prime Tandoori from a family member who loves their samosas, so I was definitely down to try it! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, of course, one piece of naan, and two veggie samosas. The portion/sizes were perfect! Very filling, especially the samosas. They came with sweet & sour sauce btw. Also, personally I feel the prices are good. The Masala was $11.99 and I've definitely spent more on less quality and quantity. I loved everything! Everything was tasty and my craving was definitely satisfied. Plus, I had so much food left over for a second round. I always love that! Hmmmm the only reason why I'm giving 4 stars, which I think is great, is because I like the Chicken Tikka Masala sauce to be a little thicker with a pinch more flavor and chicken. My wife and I have eaten Prime Tandoori about 5 times now. It's delicious, healthy, and affordable!!! My wife loves the butter chicken and I usually get one of the combination meals. The meals come with rice, absolutely delicious chickpeas, salad, your choice of meat, and naan. I've had the chicken tikka kabob, lamb boti kabob, and chicken tikka masala. I've never had a bad meal here!!! The freshness, portions, and customer service keeps us coming back for more. We usually pick up and the owner is always such a pleasure to see. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK! The owner of the place is the most rudest person I have ever met. I ordered chicken biryani and chicken curry. Went to go pick it up since he said delivery would take 1 hour and 10 mins. Once I arrived at the Resturant, I noticed someone behind the counter carrying a child, he put the child down let the little girl walk around the kitchen area. The owner did not speak very well English, the cooks did not wear hair nets, no gloves and clothes were stained. Once my food was ready, I went home and opened up the chicken curry and noticed immediately there was a strained of hair. I told my friend to record a video. PLEASE EXCUSE MY LANGUAGE IN THE VIDEO BUT I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND A LONG PIECE OF HAIR IN MY FOOD !!! Called the owner back he said that I can get another order of chicken curry. I refused to eat their food so I asked for a refund. He told me to come back to the Resturant with the food and then he will return my money. I went back and spoke to hamza who is a front counter staff member, he had no clue of the situation. The owner was not even present when I arrived. I had to wait 5 mins for the owner to come to the store, once he came he told me I would get 50% off of the chicken curry but he will not refund me the money for the rest of the food THAT I DID NOT TOUCH! I told him I need a full refund because I did not touch the food ! He started getting angry, walked in front of the counter in my face and called me the worst names! His demeanor was as if he was going to hit me. I raised my voice and he told me to shut the F*** up and get out of his Resturant. He then took my food out of the store and put it on the floor and told me to get out with multiple cuss words. I told him that I mean no harm, I just want my money back. He thought I was a joke, therefore acted very immaturely. I walked out of his store with him following me from behind, his family members who were sitting in the dinning room the whole time held his arms back so he wouldn't go after me. I told him this isn't right, he should learn customer satisfaction not kick them out. On top of that he had so many health violations that he may not be aware of. He ended up kicking HIS own food that HE put outside and splashed it all over his Windows. It was trash food anyways and he probably knew it too. I told him I would get the police involved because he was acting like an animal. I called 911 and 3 cop cars rolled up. They heard everything I had to say but unfortunately it was a civil matter therefore they could no force the owner to give me back my money. At this point I didn't care about the money, I just wanted the owner to realize he was at fault that's all. I recommend not going here ever in your life. The people are just ill mannered. I lastly just want to say, thank you to the prince William county police for informing me about Yelp and writing this review!! I do have pictures and a video of the hair that was in my food !!! Lamb rogan Josh was made with chicken and tough lamb. So disappointed. Everything is overwhelming with clove and cinnamon. Wouldn't get again. Veg samosa was the only good part of the meal. I prefer dark meat but my husband didn't like how greasy and fatty it was. The rice was standard fare. An order of naan is huge, bigger than a dinner plate. The naan was good, I'd order it again. However the lassi left a lot to be desired. An authentic mango lassi from my experience has a decent amount of spice in it and you can taste the yogurt in it. For whatever reason this one was almost watery, like a thin smoothie and had zero hint of spice. Maybe it wasn't freshly made or is bought pre-made? I ordered delivery last night from this establishment . I pre-tipped since I live on the fourth floor of my building. The driver called saying he is down stairs so I gave him the code to enter. This is where the obvious lying came into play all so that he could be lazy and not come up. It started by him saying the code wouldn't let him in. A family member of mine was on there way out so they let him in. Once upstairs you could see all on his face how upset he was that he had to actually deliver the food properly. He hands me the food and says "I will not come back." I asked him what his problem was and his reply was " I have gotten a ticket and thats not my responsibility." He double parked next to my family member when there was parking available. All the while walking away from the conversation and being completely rude. The food was not hot and greasy but I don't expect much from this type of establishment. The quality of the food was not the issue the complete lack of customer service was.
