This is drunk food. Why is this place rated so highly? It was just okay pizza, 100% NOT worth the price. Now I heard that they are known for their Detroit style pizza and I didn't try that. Based off what I got I believe this is a gimmick spot and the hype is all in the name and expectation rather than the reality. Try at your own risk.

Got takeout on a weekend during the AAPI collabs that prince street has been doing and just had to quickly write that the Soho baos made by Chiu Quon bakery available during week 3 of the event in May were chefs kiss ‍ Very unique, never had anything like it - it was like pizza on the outside, dumpling on the inside. Yes it had a savory onion-ey filling that somehow worked with the cheesy pepperoni goodness As an asian american myself, was happy to see this location in Chicago was participating. Will have to return to try more of Prince Streets standard offerings

Late night, Detroit style, by the slice, fast moving staff, fresh ZA right out of the oven, THIS PLACE IS A MUST STOP. The history and vibe this place offers is great, I had quite the experience. The pizza is delicious, and I love the variety available. I'll be back! Thanks PSP team!!!

Got delivery from here on a Thursday night. I ordered the 18" pepperoni pizza with a side of "not ranch" and marinara. The pizza was pretty dry, not full of flavor and the crust was also very dry and burnt but not in the delicious crispy way, it was not a caramelized way. It was also seemingly trying to be a New York style but again missed the mark. I wouldn't come back but the food was fine.

A New York staple competing with Chicago in the pizza dept! We had some Inkind credits to be use and ideally we prefer take out because we need readily accessible for a hungry 3 year old toddler. Naughty Pie - little kick to it and a sweetness to it too I'll be honest, I think ours coulda been cooked longer. By time we got home the food was cold but that to blame the transportation of the goods. Just not sure if the mozzarella was supposed to stay in a cheese stick form. I'm more used to the ooey gooey ones. We also tried to plop it back in the air fryer but didn't do it any good. Don't manage to finish the whole pie but when we reheat it in the air fryer it tasted way better than yesterday. So I'm kinda half and half on this meal. Don't hate it but not loving it loving it.

I'm always excited when something new opens up, but the first few times I tried to go, the line was so long that I waited until the hype died down. After a few visits, I've found it's kind of hit or miss. Some flavors are really delicious, while others are just... not it. It can also be pretty pricey for a slice, especially in a city full of great pizza where consistency matters. I'm someone who likes to explore and try different options, but experimenting here has sometimes left me underwhelmed. I've given this place a few tries, mostly because they were on InKind. Early on, this location wasn't accepting it, but lately I haven't had any issues using it. My advice: stick to what you already know and love, because trying new flavors doesn't always pay off. The location is small and cozy.

Returned to Prince St for two Too Good To Go boxes. The food quality remains so high, that we were wowed even with day old slices. The more classic flavors left a bit to be desired flavor wise, but the gourmet flavors nailed it. Recommend the Soho Squares over NY slices any day with their texture and delicately light crisp! Flavor reviews: Original and Fancy Prince--6/10. Good. Nothing special Prince perfection--7/10. One point higher due to awesome crust but wanted more standout flavors Oakey Smokey--10/10. WOW. The smoked mozz is the only difference from the fancy prince and it made all the difference. Depth of flavor was insane Chicago supreme--10/10. This pie is a chicagoans dream. Giardiniera is HOT but in the best way possible. Both the sausage and pepperoni have fantastic flavor on their own

I wanted to try this place because I'd heard a lot about it. There wasn't a line when I went, so ordering was pretty straightforward. It took a decent amount of time since they had to warm up the pizza after ordering, but totally worth it. I ordered the spicy spring, spicy vodka, and meat lovers. I really liked all of them. Each slice was just a good pizza slice, crispy crust with sauce and toppings that were properly portioned. The spicy options had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the meat lovers was filling without being too heavy.

Let me start off by saying I had NO plans or intention of going here...(haha) I was walking by and was slightly hungry so I decided to give a new place a try. Once I saw (The Naughty Pie) SPICY VODKA SAUCE on a pizza... I was hooked. They could have taken all my money. I've never seen such a thing. I only ordered a slice, for about $7 and I really like how they tossed the pizza in the oven before they give it to you. Makes it taste fresh & crispy. The service was great, the lady knew all the slices & had a story for each of them. I look forward to coming back & showing other people this place. Thank you Prince Street Pizza, see you soon! Personal Review: 8.4

Update: Catering / party orders at PSP are also fantastic. Had about 8 pizzas + salad + cake for a large group and everything came perfectly. The pizza is to die for. Literally the best in Chicago.

Another New York restaurant makes its way to Chicago! This take-away spot was very good! Lately it takes alot for pizza to impress me nowadays. It's been a while since I've had Detroit style slices. The spicy vodka slice is my favorite! Simple but something about it was soooo good! Their pizza flavors are unique and I want to try them all. There is no seating. Just a small counter in the front where you can quickly eat inside.

Tasty late night pizza. Went on a Friday around 11 and it was easy to walk in the take out door and grab some slices. Parking will be tough if you're not on foot but we were able to get a spot right in front for a quick in and out. ETA: the spicy pepperoni is very good! I liked that there was plenty of it on there and just the right amount of thickness!

Great late night snack! I got the naughty pie and the Mercer margarita! Can't go wrong with either!

Sadly, my last two in person visits have more closely resembled the frozen product they ship from their website. The most recent visit last week included 11 other family members who were "first timers" that had trusted my recommendation for the good stuff only to be disappointed by both the temperature and small amount of both cheese/sauce. We shared several large, medium and personal pies across the menu and I honestly can't say a single one measured up to the standard they have set for decades. The always delicious butter crust saved this from being a one star review, but my next visit to Chitown may not include another visit to any of the way too many locations.

It's still pretty basic with simple meat sauce and cheese, but I actually appreciated the simplicity--it was different without trying too hard. The highlight was definitely the BREAD for a starter! They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.
