Visiting from NY. The weather kinda sucked today so me and my friend decide to get pedis. Stumbled upon this place and all the ladies inside were adorable! So sweet and patient. I'm not used to Vietnamese owners and workers but they might even be nicer than the Chinese stores I'm used to in NY. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back. Prices were reasonable - similar to NY prices so I think it's normal but I don't live here so I'm not sure what's considered expensive and what's not. All in all, nice experience. read more

I love this place. I've been looking for a new nail person since my nail lady moved. I have had nothing but bad luck. I read the reviews and let me tell you it's spot on. I went in to see holly but she was booked up. I got Jenny and she did a fantastic job. Nails are perfect. I got coffin nails and not everyone can do those. I suggest you check this place out if you're in need of a new salon. You might have to wait because they don't take appointments so its first come first serve. I just feel like they do so many people a day they could careless the service they are giving you. First of all, THEY WONT TAKE CARD PAYMENTS ANYMORE!!!!! THEY HAVE AN ATM AND THEY TELL YOU TO GO WITHDRAWAL THE MONEY! So the ATM gets to charge you $1.50 and your bank gets to charge you $4 smh. Maybe they should put a sign on the door! They get to you quickly because there's like 20 workers BUT they are terrible! Got a mani/pedi & she didn't hand me the remote to the chair it was on a ledge behind my chair so I had to struggle to get it. She asked me which pedicure I wanted and I said I'll do the regular $15 on and can I pay for a longer massage because I don't like the scrubs and all that. She says oh do this one ($30) it comes with 5 minute massage it's better, I said no thank you. & instantly she starts talking to the lady doing my nails in their language and they're laughing! The pedicure lady didn't speak another word to me for the next 10 minutes that she rushed to finish my pedicure & didn't do any massage at all!!! Before my toes even dry or anything she slips sandals on me and says "move over there" to a manicure station and leaves and the manicure lady finished my nails. I came here because it was down the street from my work. I called twice but got no answer. So decided to show up & they were open. I got a gel manicure which took just over an hour with my nails being polish free. I got oil & lotion on my hands which she barely rubbed in leaving my hands completely covered in oil. I went in on a Sunday evening when most nail shops are closed. They cheerfully assured me it was fine to come in for a gel manicure. Tiffany did my nails. They use Gelish brand at this shop, and have a good variety of colors available. I chose a sparkly glossy red (#74) and asked for my nails to be done short and oval. Tiffany did a careful, meticulous job without too much chitchat. (I like a little bit of conversation, but not non stop prattle while at a salon.) When she was finished, my nails looked lov-er-ly! Weeks later, they remain chip-free. Seriously, these gel manis will stay perfect until your nails grow out. To extend their life, you could even paint the new growth (near the cuticles) with a closely matched regular polish. read more

I just came for the 1st time and my husband noticed that my little toe nail was missing nail polish they didn't even put a fan to dry my toe nails. At other nail salons they would do that. I won't be coming back, I thought it was a good place they had matching gel polish with regular polish. My gel manicure was ok some of the gel went on to my skin though. I was the 1st customer there. When I came to this place it was terrible. BEWARE!!! DONT GO TO THIS NAIL SHOP!!!I decided to give this place a try since I live in bellflower( it had great Yelp reviews) and couldn't make it to my usual place by my work in Brea. Worst mistake ever!!!! The lady that did my pedicure was nice and did a good job but the lady that did my gel mani was rushing and did an awful job polishing my nails. When I pointed a few things out she kind of got bothered so I just told her to finish the job I just wanted to get out of that place. One I got to my car I stated to notice the polished job was worst that I thought it looked like the gel polish wasn't dry yet so I decided to go back and have them re-polish my nails so they send me to the same lady who did my nails. She was mad and yelling and me telling telling me she doesn't know why I didn't tell her before and so many other things. I asked her why she was yelling at me and talking to me that why? I told her I was the customer and that I paid for a service to be done and I didn't like it so that she needed to do it again and do a better job. Well this lady kept on yelling and talking until I finally told them I wanted Someone else to do my nails that's when Jennie kindly told me she would do my nails and she kept apologizing. If I could rate this place a zero I would. I went into this place pregnant and the lady doing my nails was doing a great job, very timely and making sure every detail was perfect. For some reason the owner said something to her which made the lady doing my nails go faster. the end result was horrible, there were bubbles in my nails I begin to tell the lady if she could fix them and she didn't understand so I asked the owner, to fix my nails and she looked at me like she wasn't going to, so I explained that I am pregnant and I would appreciate it if they could fix it fast. well anyway I left with my nails fixed. following weeks I go back into the store AND THEY REFUSED TO SERVE ME!!!! the owner comes up to me saying how I ask for 3 coats of nail polish and they only do two, SO THEY CANT DO MY NAILS, AND MADE ME LEAVE I left crying and very upset. I came to this salon based off the reviews on yelp and the fact that it is close close to the salon that I work at. The service I received was horrible. Gracie did not understand me or English as her coworker had to tell her everything I was saying to her. I asked her to make the water warmer and she made it colder, when the massage chair cut off she acted as if I was bugging her by asking her to turn the chair back on or to give me the remote so I could operate it myself, 3rd she half did my nails as I watched her the whole time to see if this would be my new salon since it's so close to my work. Not once did she engage in conversation with me to get to know me. She did everything half a $$ except she did an ok job with painting my toes. When it was time to pay she gave me the slip I tried to hold on to it while I was getting the payment out and them I would hand it back with the money as I usually do anyplace else, but no she wanted that slip right back. I gave her $15 my service was $14 I could tell she was mad when she saw it was almost exact change. She then came back with my dollar which I almost gave to her although I am unsatisfied but I decided not to the way she threw that $1 back at me, snatched the towel from under my feet, did not help me out of the extra large massage chair, and basically pushed me out the door by putting her hand on my back and pushing me away from the chair so she could start cleaning. Before I paid I asked her for her name and she acted as if she didn't know what I was say again and her coworker told me Gracie. I had a pedi and gel mani done here. My manicure chipped before two weeks. I wanted my nails and toes paint one color they said they had the matching polish to the gel I picked and no they were two different colors! So I left with Lavender nails and pale pink toes I was pissed. The shop was super small. The worst part was the old fashioned pedi! I usually always come here because a friend referred me here and I never had a terrible experience. This time was different. It all started when I was looking at the polishes. I had a three polishes in my hand and a lady very rudely came up and took them away from me because I could break them. Once I sat down the other lady was very rude about the polishes as well. I get it, they can break if ppl aren't careful. But I'm not a child to be talked to as one. So I ended up choosing the B pedicure that came w a hot towel message and etc. Every time I would come here or any other spot I have tried, it takes them at least 30 minutes on my feet. This girl was done within 13 minutes. Right away she looked at me and asked me if I wanted to purchase sandals. I had no clue this place started charging you for sandals (my mistake I guess). I told her if I could wait for them to dry. But instead of letting me sit in the chair for a couple minutes like I usually do she had me get up and walk barefoot to her station to get my manicure. I would have completely understood if they were busy and needed the chairs but it was empty. I was not amused since the beginning and this just made it worse. I choose to get my nails done to treat myself, get pampered (don't we all) & to be given the treatment I pay for but this was just so disappointing. Won't be going back. read more

This place was okay. I came here a while back but I forgot about it. They've renovated the shop and it looks ten times better, almost like a mall nail salon. I got a pedicure which was $15 and a gel manicure which was $20. The color I chose for my hands was kinda light and I appreciated that she wasn't stingy with the amount of coats she put on. The massage was good and I was treated well during the service. However, minus two stars because the parking lot is small and sometimes there isn't parking. Also because when I walked in and asked for the wait time estimate she said "not long" instead of saying how many minutes (it ended up being like 15), I noticed she did the same to other customers. Another thing is they don't accept debit or credit cards, they have a old ATM machine that I had to use that looks almost fake and charges $1.50 and can only take out in increments of 20. Saw this place next to the donut shop, looked nice and clean so I gave it a try. I asked for a regular manicure and pedicure, they said get gel it's better. I agreed under the condition they had matching regular polish because I didn't want gel on my toes. They said they had every color in regular polish too. I pick my color, the lady said, "No your nails are too short, you can't get metallic" and hands me one little ring of colors to choose from. So I pick one. She paints my nails but complains the whole time that my nails are too short, she even called over another lady to look. My nails are short, but not THAT short. I get manicures all the time and no one else has ever complained so much. Then another lady starts my pedicure and tells me they don't have the matching color, so she picks the closest one. THEN tells me I have to pay $1 extra because its OPI. I didn't get a massage for the mani, she just put lotion on the top of my hands and wiped of off with a towel. I go to pay, I see a card machine behind the counter and I hand the lady my card- she gives it back and tells me to get cash out of the atm (in the salon). Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything in there that said "cash only". I wanted to like this place, but the lady was so rude and made me feel bad the whole time. I personally recommend reading this review. I left walking out astonished of how awful my experience was. As a in-person representative for public relations/customer service company, our appearance has to be 5 stars because of who we come in contact with. I have been getting my nails done here for years, I commute from Cypress all the time and have been encountering worse and worse service from the professionals. It seems like they cannot seem to keep their employees for more than 6 months? I see new manicurists every time I arrive (and that's at least 2x a month). Holly, the owner and the best manicurist I've ever had, does such a superb job and so I always wait for her when I do my full set. I encountered a new lady since it was going to be an additional hour for Holly. This new lady cut me FIVE times, made the acrylic so chunky, and shorten the length more than I had asked. She then had the audacity to say, "They would not look bad if you weren't so scared." I was astonished of her comment. I stated after, "You should not have cut me so much. I am bleeding on both hands. Your nail file HAS MY BLOOD ALL OVER." By the time it was done, she was trying to charge me extra and continuously had to reapply my nail polish because she kept touching it accidentally. It was ridiculous. read more

Well, I have been coming here for a long time, and have seen them through their renovation. The work done at this shop is OK to Very good, depending on who you get. The customer service and attitude towards customers at this place is horrible. They really treat each person differently and not in a nice way, and do not treat customers equally - or even appreciative of your business. No matter how much you spend. If I get treated like I am not doing them a favor for coming in, then there are many many nails shops that I can go to be treated nicely and receive good service. They trick you into receiving services that you didn't want and poorly explain costs to you, so if you happen to say a word for a service and wasn't unsure...they take it like you wanted something and then $5 was added when you didn't mean that. Of course the language barrier, but that isn't an excuse. Be clear of the 'name' of the service and pricing! The new shop is beautiful, but the 'new' employees put up a bad reputation to this place.
