I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff.
