Public Legacy is a convenient spot located in the Katella Town Center, right near the movie theater and with plenty of parking available. It's a great place to grab a bite before a movie or a nearby Angels or Ducks game. The service was quick and friendly, and the menu is a decent size with a few vegan options. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and a bar area, making it a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a casual meal or just drinks with friends. Overall, it's a convenient, reliable option in the area.

Really delicious food! I got the house salad and shared the caramelized fig/onion goat cheese with sour dough appetizer. My friend got the smash burger. I also got a cider and she got a cocktail - both delicious! Our waitress (I think her name was Amanda) was lovely and patient with us. Will definitely come back! The reason for the 4/5 is because I do wish they had more vegan entrees not just the spaghetti

Amanda was AMAZING!! We came here for Mother's Day and were treated like royalty. They have a world class bar (not just a bar tender but rather a MIXOLOGIST!!). My wife had the Legacy Smash Burger, I had The Poacher burger. Both were perfectly done with a generous accompaniment of delicious fries. Ambiance was extraordinarily comfortable. It exceeded our Mother's Day expectations!!!

Pros: -Chilis had a 1.5 hour wait. Public Legacy which is in the same plaza had none. -Does auto charge tip for large parties -Great service. -They kept refilling our bread that we ordered with the fig dip. Kids loved the toast. -Prices were reasonable for the type of restaurant this is. -Portions were decent. -Easy parking. Cons: -My food was pretty oily and heavy. Not what I was expecting for a lemon sauce, and not as good as some paperdelles I've had in other restaurants in the past. -None if the foid blew me away. Rubeun sandwich was okay. Fries were okay. Fig dip was okay. Toast was pretty good but just toast.

First off this is between a 3 and a 4. We were lucky to get a booth, very crowded due to the Ducks game coming up. Our server was Savannah, she was excellent. I made the mistake of getting an Old Fashion with their house Buffalo Trace. Not too good, some I switched to Woodford Reserve, much better, $6 more. I had the Pesto chicken, pesto was very mild. I didn't get much chicken, loved the veggies, but I was still hungry. My husband had the Short Rib Peppardelle, not much meat. So we both wished that we might have ordered something else. W don't eat allot sand usually have leftovers, but not his time. They do have an extensive liquor display. The place inside was somewhat comfortable, high tables and chairs are not for us.

Public Legacy is located in the Stadium Promenade center a few blocks east of the Honda Center. I don't think they take reservations, but they do have a Yelp live waitlist. There are several large parking lots on each side of the restaurant, but they do get near capacity on weekends or when there are events nearby. Seating options include booths and tables in a few different dining areas, at the bar, or outside on the patio. They also have a separate semi-private room behind the bar that can host events. We sat in a booth in the main dining area which provided a nice view of the bar. The lighting is subdued and the space has a nice cozy feel. We started out with a round of cocktails. I had the French 74 (blueberry goat cheese washed gin, ginger syrup, lemon, Champagne, fruit pearls, $17). This came with an interesting garnish of some large boba on top of a lemon peel. I wasn't sure what to do with it, and our server said some people just eat them, and some people toss them in the drink. I just ate them so they wouldn't interfere with the flavor of the drink. This was the second drink listed on the menu and I immediately stopped and ordered it when I saw "blueberry goat cheese washed gin" as the first ingredient. I kept taking sips, and unfortunately all I could taste was the champagne and nothing else. When our server came by to ask how the drinks were, even though I had sipped almost half of it, she offered to take it away and remove it from the bill. I didn't expect that, what great service! I took another shot with the Ghost Ship cocktail (Mijenta reposado, Amaro Nonino, Doctor Bird pineapple rum, rosemary orgeat, lychee, lemon, orange bitters, tiki bitters, $20). This was a great tiki style drink, with a light sweetness and some complexity. The rum and tequila paired well. Her first cocktail was the Tia Mia (milk clarified, Flor de Cana rum, Doctor Bird Jamacian rum, Nostros mezcal, Cointreau, ube, orgeat, lime, $20). This was a good clear and silky cocktail with light smokiness and a subtle ube flavor. Next came some appetizers. The Shishito peppers ($8) were a good serving size. I love it when a restaurant includes a slice of lemon to squeeze over the peppers as it makes them so much better. The sauce was also tasty to dip the peppers in. Pablo No's Spinach & Arti Gratin ($17) is definitely an elevated spinach and artichoke dip. It arrived hot and stayed hot in a cast iron skillet. It was creamy and very flavorful. It is a generous size and eight slices of lightly toasted sourdough bread were not enough. Our server was happy to bring us more. This is probably the best spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had. Next came another round of cocktails while we waited for our entrees to arrive. I had the Smoking Geisha (Los Vecinos mezcal, citrus sake, Lo-Fi dry vermouth, blackberry, grapefruit, lemon, mint, $17). The mezcal smokiness is at a medium level, and I tasted light berry and citrus notes in the background. She had the Fernita Applerum (Ron del Barrlito rum, Fernet Branca, green Chartreuse, green apple syrup, ginger, lime, egg white ($18). This had herbal notes with a light sweetness, and expected bitterness. Bonus points for the foamy top. My main entrée was the Yukon Steak ($39) - Perfectly grilled medium-rare New York strip that is pre-sliced. The meat was very flavorful and I loved the chimichuri sauce on top. The red pepper sauce was also very good for dipping both the steak and potato wedges in. She had the Chimi-Caesar salad ($18) which she really enjoyed. It had a great variety of ingredients and textures. We were stuffed, but still decided to try the Magix bar dessert ($12). It was actually not as heavy or sweet as we thought it might be. It had a great mix of chocolate, peanut butter, banana, and pretzel graham cracker that all went together very nicely. And who doesn't like toasted marshmallows on top of a dessert! Five stars all the way for our server Savannah. She had great knowledge of the food and cocktail menu as we had several questions before ordering. She checked on us frequently at just the right times. I really appreciated her taking my first drink, which didn't really do it for me, off the bill. A manager also stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with everything. Great food, great drinks, and great service. We will definitely be back.

PUBlic Legacy has been a go to for my husband and I when in the area for their delicious burger and amazing craft cocktails, especially their bourbon based options. Inside it offers a very relaxed yet upscale vibe that is very moody and inviting. The bartenders are always very friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to have a Christmas Party here for a group of about 30 and it was FANTASTIC! the GM Andrew who I communicated with via email a couple months before the party, to button up the details, was so nice and helpful the entire time. He was always available to answer any questions and accommodated many requests such as personalized menus, entree substitutions and extensive bar menu. Our server Savannah was also awesome, she was very friendly and accommodating to our very thirsty group! Comparatively to other venues the price for the amount of space, food, drinks and awesome service was unparalleled. We had a cocktail hour with appetizers where everyone mingled in the back space called the Library. The Library offers a private bar as well as beautiful velvet tufted booths that sat our party of 30 comfortably. A detail that was offered that I loved was a sit down dinner as opposed to buffet. Everyone chose their seats and gave their name and the wonderful staff brought out everyone's food accordingly. All of the dishes were delicious and lastly a dessert bar was set up and we were able to continue enjoying the space. If you have an event and this location works for your party I would HIGHLY recommend you contact Andrew to get more details. You will not regret it.

We've been here four times now...before and after Ducks games. It's crazy how busy other restaurants near the Honda Center are on game nights, but PUBlic Legacy is dead. This place is too good to be this empty. Swanky interior. Mood lighting. Anaheim Ducks specials pre-game. Friendly staff. Vegan options. Food isn't amazing, but pretty good and inventive. Wine list is lacking, you should opt for one of their boozy cocktails instead. If you're in the mood for a more elevated dining experience than Lazy Dog or Sauced, try PUBlic Legacy.

Went here on a Monday night for girls night with my coworkers. I would say it's pretty decent place. It was a quiet night, so we got our food quickly. Our server was super sweet and service was great. Starters-Brussels and cranberries, calamari and hummus. Main - salmon, Chinese chicken salad and Reuben. All very good. We'd probably come back and try other things in the menu.

My husband and I found this little gem last year and we have yet to be disappointed. This establishment has such a good vibe. The employees are always friendly, the interior decor is cute and cozy and it's not like other restaurants where there are TVs everywhere; you can actually hold an intimate conversation with the people you're there with. Plus the food is amazing!!! Fresh, delicious, and unique! Shout out to our favorite waitress Jordan! She's amazing and if you get her she completes the experience with her charm.

Great place to have a drink before catching a late night film. Service was awesome and the bartender made sure we were well taken care of. I had the Absinthe Minded cocktail. First time actually trying absinthe and it was strong, but just the right amount to take sips. It was pleasantly good as I took little sips. We ordered the lemon pepper wings that were soooo good. Just the right amount of sauce and not overly drenched. It was the perfect compliment to our cocktails. We also ordered the Tomato Addiction appetizer. This was by far the star of the hour. It was a perfect night cap to our cocktail hour together. This is definitely a place to hit up again.

$34 YUKON STEAK: great price for the flavor! NY strip steak topped with chimmichuri accompanied by thick cut fries fried to a golden brown.

PARKING (4/5): Gets busy on weekends, might have to walk a little, but you'll always find parking. FOOD $34 YUKON STEAK: this was a great price for how amazing the flavor was! NY strip steak cooked perfectly and topped with chimmichuri accompanied by thick cut fries fried to a golden brown. Perfectly crispy with a bell pepper coulis. AMBIANCE (3/5): I wanted an upscale meal at a semi-casual gastropub environment. It's a whiskey bar so no TV's here. I loved the decor, however, it was EMPTY on a Sunday night around 8pm. The place is pretty big, so it felt weird being this empty. SERVICE (5/5): There was only a few people other than me and I was at the bar so service was phenomenal. She kept checking to make sure I was good. They said they get busy on FRIDAY & SATURDAY dinner service and during hockey season since it's right by HONDA CENTER.

This spot has great potential! Their drinks are delicious and the service is great! They don't have a/c from what I could tell, but the fans work well enough for you to not completely get drenched in your own sweat during the summer hah. The food was very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the appetizers which included hummus, Caesar salad, tomato dish and more! The Wagyu burger and the steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely check them out!

It is located in downtown Fullerton, next to the Les Amis Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant. Look for the entrance on the west side of the building with a red entrance and Chapter 4 projection logo on the sidewalk. You can make a reservation on their website. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Seating options include tall chairs at the bar, low booths along the front wall across from the bar, and various tables in the main lounge area. All of the chairs look very comfortable. We sat in one of the booths across from the bar. It has a great vibe inside with a dark ceiling and walls, and is lit on the dimmer side. There was light lounge/soft jazz music playing when we visited. They also have live jazz music on some nights. A bowl of nuts, water, and menus arrived quickly. They have a great menu of house-curated cocktails, their spins on classic cocktails, and a large list of whiskeys and other spirits. They also have several food items on the menu. They have private liquor lockers available to store personal bottles for members Before I continue, I have to say that JC, one of the owners, who greeted us and was our server all evening, provided outstanding hospitality. While researching their bar menu online, we saw the cloud cocktail which had a very unique presentation with a burning ember cloud-like display. We came for my girlfriend's birthday, and she knew that would be her first drink. Unfortunately when we tried to order it, they were out of the gas for it. We noticed that the physical menu was a little different than the online menu. Apparently they had just changed the menu and had not updated the website yet. She wanted the Dirty Dill which wasn't on the new cocktail menu, but they were still able to make it. Dirty Dill (Gin, Vodka, Lemon, Pickle Juice, Olive Juice, Milk Washed & Clarified, $19). We could smell pickle on the nose, but when we took a sip, it was very boozy with little pickle or olive flavor. We asked if they could add some more pickle juice, and JC brought us a big shot glass of pickle juice so she could adjust it to her liking. She liked it once she added some more pickle juice. I started out with the Cococacaocoladaclara cocktail (Cacao-Infused Rum, Orange Liquor, Pineapple & Lime Juice, Coconut Milk Clarified, $18). This wasn't quite what I was expecting, and I had a hard time picking out the flavors. It was definitely strong and boozy. We were finishing our first round when we spotted JC walking towards our table with a cloud! He managed to find whatever it takes to make the effect, and we were very appreciative. I have seen a lot of presentations, and this was definitely a unique one. The birthday shot was very good, and he said the ingredients were mezcal, lavender, and lemon. Old Fashioneds have been growing on me lately. After the great presentation of the cloud, I had to try the Sinatra Old Fashioned (Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select, one dash of chocolate Bitters, $40). It is served in a rotating crystal glass, lit from underneath, with a clear ice sphere. Again, the presentation was great, and it was the smoothest old fashioned I've ever had. She had her eye on the Tuk Tuk for her second drink (Coconut Fat Washed Rum, Supasawa, Pandan Syrup, Mango Syrup, Rice Garnish, $18). She asked if it was very sweet, and he said that it was indeed quite sweet. Instead, she opted for the Firefox (Vodka, Pomegranate, Lemon, Vanila, Rose Liquor, Cherry Bitters, $18). Once again, this cocktail had a great presentation. It's served in a short, wide glass that sits perfectly on top of a piece of petrified-looking wood. You hold the glass with both hands and sip it like a bowl of soup. It was very balanced and smooth, with a nice tartness and light sweetness. JC stopped by again to check on our second round. A few minutes later he surprised us again, and returned with shot sized versions of the Tuk Tuk to sample. It was definitely on the sweeter side with good coconut and pandan flavor. We probably would have tried a third round, but we had dinner and a drink before coming here. Their menu of house-curated cocktails is impressive, and features many uncommon ingredients. We had a good time, but JC went the extra mile for us all night long and made it a great time. We will definitely return again.

After arriving in Irvine and settling into our hotel, my man found a nearby spot where the four of…read moreus could enjoy dinner together. The restaurant was dark and stylish, and I immediately liked the vibe. Even though it was crowded for a Thursday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. We each picked a shareable dish to split. Predictably, my daughter chose the mac and cheese. I rolled my eyes -- it's so her -- but it turned out to be the best of the four. Maybe it was the velvety cheese sauce or the golden cracker crust that made it so irresistible, but that mac and cheese was, as she'd say, absolutely bussin'. The next standout was the maple-buttered Brussels sprouts, my man's pick. If all vegetables tasted this good, I'd eat them every day. Candied pecans, maple butter, blue cheese -- how could that not be amazing? Was it healthy? Sus, but definitely worth it. I picked the pig candy for the group, which was outrageously sweet and candy-like. Clearly, this wasn't healthy -- bacon, sugar, and rye whiskey caramel make a trifecta of indulgence. But it was so delicious, I couldn't complain. The sliders were the last shareable we tried. They were fine but didn't stand out -- the meat was a bit dry. I also ordered a cocktail (something pretty and fruity, though I can't remember the name). The bartender nailed it, delivering a delicious drink. My man enjoyed his Negroni. The service was great, and I loved the grassy area with fire pits for hanging out. Excellent place for our first night out in Irvine!
