This place is super clean and nice! I also enjoy that it's near my car wash (Super Stars). Laurie was great in setting me up and getting me into a great unit and at a good deal, didn't expect to sign up that day but I did with the great service she offered. Heidi I also spoke to about exterior car storage spots, she was also very helpful and nice and took the time to answer all my questions. This place is well secured, the elevators are nice and big and work great. The interior isn't hot or musty as it's temperature controlled. They also offer good deals online from time to time - check out their website or give one of the staff a call! The only thing I hope the Storage place can offer is more available floor carts, other than that I'm pretty happy. read more

They real you in with their promotion and within a couple months will hike up the price while offering a lower price for new customers. That's just how their business model is. They don't seem to care to keep their current customers and take advantage of the fact that moving storage facilities is hard. Again, I'd recommend you pay a little more upfront for another facility. You will 100% end up paying more at public storage unless you plan to use it for two three months only. If you have to use public storage, I have no issues with this location. Storage price went up by a $100 for not apparent reason. When checked online- the price of the unit is lower than current payment by a whole $50. Cart is never available. Storage is not securely locked, anyone can enter through the doors or the elevator. It is indeed a PUBLIC storage. Anytime I call to speak about my price increase- no one is there to answer. The facility is clean and new, units are spacious. The lights are on light sensors so they will turn off while you are in the unit which is a big safety issue. The lights turn off and you have to struggle in complete darkness to move around your unit and hope you don't fall until the lights come back on. They need to add light switches to the individual units. Another con: They keep raising the prices significantly. Customer service is so-so. Some guy in the front office updated my phone number on file without consent when I called in from a different phone to ask a question. He then refused to correct the number without having me drive down to the office and show a driver's license and fill out a bunch of forms. Hmm, interesting how he could change my records without even telling me then I had to jump through hoops to correct his errors. read more

DO NOT STORE HERE. HORRIBLE SECURITY. Our belongings were stolen from our unit and they do nothing. Claimed it has never happened before but the police taking the report said it happens almost weekly. We moved into a new unit in July and returned yesterday for they first time since to find the majority of stuff from our unit had been stolen. When we arrived We noticed a different lock was on our unit. We contacted Brenda in the office who confirmed it was not their lock and said if we want it open we need to pay a locksmith ourself or wait until the district manager comes for their twice monthly visit. We were clearly concerned that our lock had been replaced and contacted a lock smith. Brenda said because the door was not tampered with and it was just the lock she doesn't care. They do zero verification and opened the lock. Almost everything was gone and what was still left behind was severely damaged. Once again, Brenda could not have been less helpful. She said this has never happened here before. Even getting the internal claim number from her was a pain. Of course, we're filing a police report for insurance and the officer said they are here once a week for this exact thing...so Brenda is a liar saying it's never happened. They have zero cameras inside and claim they can do nothing to assist. read more

To start, the good: The app to get in and out of the gate was awesome. The keypads are in a place that requires you to get out of your vehicle, a mild inconvenience. The app to open the gate was a great feature. The place is clean, like others mentioned. I think that's about all the good though. The bad: -Random people are always trying to follow you into the lot. Every tenant here has an access code to get in and out of the facility. There is no reason for people to tail you in. People will park in the lot and wait for someone to come/in and out. The moment someone pulls up to the gate, you're likely to have someone speed out of the spot to get behind you and tail you in. Very unsettling from a security standpoint. -When the entrance gate fails, it fails in the open position. Numerous times the gate has been left open overnight and not fixed until the next day. This is an industrial area that isn't populated at night. An open gate is an invitation for theft and vandalism. This is a big security issue -The rate hikes are horrible. In the first year of being there the cost of my spot increased 217%. In one month alone they increased the rates by 50%. I completely understand rate increases, but not at this rate. The worst: The last straw being a customer here occurred yesterday. Due to the above mentioned security issues, I generally visit my stored trailer once every week or two just to make sure nothing has been messed with and it's in good shape. I was made a visit to my trailer yesterday. I parked in front of the trailer. When tenants park in front of their rigs, they'll overhang into the neighboring spot. It's not a big deal, on a busy weekend you may have to ask someone to move so you can get in/out and carry on about your day. This is the usual, and everyone storing here seems to understand that. I went in my trailer, closed the door, and did a check on everything. It's a newer trailer so I'm a bit OCD about taking care of it. Five minutes into my checks there's a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and immediately it was opened by the person knocking, followed by that person coming into my trailer to yell at me about being parked in front of the neighboring spot. This was pretty alarming. This is the equivalent of someone charging into your home. I immediately got the person out and told them you just don't go into peoples trailers like that. The guy, in his mid to late 60's, dressed in all dirty camouflage clothes and camo flat billed hat, started yelling again going on some rant about how he "can do whatever I want" and how I can't be parked in front of my own trailer, and I'm not allowed to hang out in it. It was seemingly nonsense what was coming out of him. There was no context, just a bunch of yelling, but he sure felt justified for what he did. He then went on yelling about how he has to move the boat next to my spot. (This boat was on a trailer that was sitting on jackstands, missing the wheels and hubs. It wasn't going anywhere any time soon.) There was no other vehicle in the vicinity, so I didn't really find any validity in his claim. I explained to him that if he needed me to move my vehicle, he could have kindly asked to do so and I would have. Then it was just more yelling and nonsense coming out of him as he walked away. His lack of context and incoherent yelling left me to believe he may have been on drugs. He definitely wasn't all there. I just assumed the boat next to me was his and he was disgruntled about me being parked in front of it. I go to the office to talk to someone about the issue and make them aware of what just happened. Come to find out, after talking to the lady at the desk, this guy is an employee of the facility. I explain to her what he did and how is actions are threatening and completely unacceptable. Her only initial response was "well, you aren't supposed to be hanging out at your RV and he was just there to tell you that." This response was astounding, and I asked her how do I contact a manager inform them of this issue. She then informed me she was the manager. Clearly I wasn't going to get anywhere with this. I went back to my trailer, hooked it up to my truck, and took it to another facility. Only when I informed the manager I was vacating did I get any sort of apology or explanation on actions taken. But here's the thing, there's no apology or action that can resolve this situation. What's done is done and this company exemplifies that your possessions are not safe here. Bottom line: Even if you are a tenant in good standing, Employees will go into and through your property and tell you they can do whatever they want when they are confronted about it. This place or any place this company run just don't care about their customers' s stuffs, they claim they r]treat your stuff like others. But reality they don't. They knew there are multiple break in incidents in this facilities, but they still don't off any extra measure to secure the place. Exit door is able to enter from outside after hours, no extra security cameras. No on site security, I lost over 10k values tools there. And insurance they want you to buy only covers fraction . Horrible horrible service. I am convinced the female manager is a crackhead. She is agitated and always looking for a fight or an argument. Has cussed me out several times if I want to ask her anything. She has zero work ethic, is extremely rude and clearly does not like her job or want to do her job. I called her regional manager Anthony and he really didn't seem to care. Said he would call me back and never has. Prices are extremely misleading. They keep readjusting the rate higher and saying it is based on the going rate. But that isn't what I signed up for???? Based on their rating and all of the other reviews, I wish I would have paid more attention before deciding on this location. Most of the elevators are broken 1/2 the time. You cant ever find a dolly to move your stuff. So many shady characters coming in and out of here. I wouldn't be in this crack head location if I can pay the same price for excellent service up in North County. No thanks, buyer beware and pay the extra money and go elsewhere. They called me several times before my move in, and I answered every time saying I'll be there on the day of. On the DAY OF MY MOVE IN, they called me saying someone else reserved my unit. the "4 bedroom" unit didn't even fit my 3 bedroom house. we were told once we move in if we need a larger unit that we could upgrade with the property manager that day. We moved in on a Friday and no one was in the office all day. Our stuff didn't fit so we had to pay for a second unit through corporate. We also spent 2 hours with 3 movers trying to find the unit. No maps anywhere. No discount on the second unit for inconvenience. No one to call other than the corporate number because there's just one property manager and no one was in the office. Not to mention they force you to get insurance but theirs is $15 a month and only covers up to $5,000...for a 4 bedroom house you have way more than $5k of stuff!! Think twice if you want to store your Rv/ Trailer there, they never check locks, they have millions of dollars in that lot, my family's trailer was broken into, and they had no idea, I walked up to the trailer to see that the locks on the door were drilled out, 2 other trailers were broken into also, they told us that it was a "secure lot" when we first stored it there. Although they are very apologetic which does nothing for someone whose property was violated, and stolen. Like I said think twice it's not worth the damage to your property to store your stuff there. read more

We do not recommend for RV storage. The first theft was gasoline from our tank. We addressed that by putting a lock on the gas tank. The second theft was a break-in to the storage under the rig - loss of chairs, rug, fire pit, etc. We addressed that by not keeping anything in the RV when we stored it. The final straw was the theft of the catalytic converter. For the amounts that we were paying, we would have expected some level of security or at least concern from management. We received neither. We will not be returning. read more

My mom has been a customer there for 4 years so she recommended me that place. They have a promotion now for $1 for the first month so I went to get myself a storage unit. Apparently, even though I live in my own house, because we have the same last name I don't qualify for the offer. The person working there said it was a "conflict of interest" and that I needed to pay full price if I wanted a storage unit. So family members in different households don't qualify for promotions... needless to say we will take our business elsewhere read more

During the holidays I was out of country with family and was 31 days past due on a payment (31 DAYS, that's all) and they had already locked me out of the unit (by placing a lock over ours) and scheduled an auction for the unit for the following month. They also disabled the gate code. They seem like they make more money off auctioning and re-renting the space and will provide no leniency. I would hate for our service members to have an issue with billing and be out at training or gone and have their items sold. DO NOT RENT HERE. Not to mention the fact that it's insanely overpriced. We are working on giving our storage business to a better company. read more

There is so much wrong with this place I almost don't even know where to start. Yes, it's clean and new. That's what makes it look good, and by the time you sign up and move your stuff in most people won't go through the trouble of moving it out. They obviously know this and factor it into their service plan. Let's see just a few things that pissed me off during my 3 month stint here during a move. 1. Rude people at the front desk who will lock the door during business hours while they talk on the phone. If you need to buy boxes, tape, etc 2. Two out of the four times I visited the facility between 2-3 in the afternoon there was a "Manager back at 4:00" sign on the door. This is a professional organization, not a barber shop (and since they started locking up the carts in the office this basically closes the place.) 3. Their 1st month only a dollar promo was littered with about 45 bucks in hidden fees. 4. The elevators seem designed to frustrate you, constantly closing on you and your cart and requiring you to go outside them and re-enter the code. 5. Four carts. They only have 4 carts to use meaning if four people are visiting the facility you need to wait for someone to finish if you plan to load/unload. Now this might seem kinda of trivial, but this place was about 10-20% more than other units and you have quite a few choices in this area. If I'm paying premium I expect at least mediocre service. read more

I as a customer in good standing am appalled at the customer service at this facility. Starting from the day I rented the unit my interaction was unfriendly, no smile and and attempted to offer me a unit priced well over the reservation I had made over the phone. 3 months later I downsized. Midday of the move my help suffered a strained back. I advised the office I would need to return at 6AM in the morning to complete the move to smaller unit. I was told I had to be out that evening at 6PM or any unmoved items would be locked and held till a penalty was paid. I asked to speak to manager who refused to speak to me and conveyed the 'be out by 6' order. Had I not been leaving town for the holidays I would have move out that day. Fast forward to today. Looking to downsize again and I get quoted the same as I currently pay for a unit half the size. When I bring this to young mans attention he tells me that I don't get the lower price because I'm an existing customer. Huh? Also this place not climate control and no place to store things long term. Their boxes and other products way overpriced compared to Uhaul. My advice based on my experience is stay away from this place. I am not moving out till next week and it would not surprise me if I were to experience some form of retaliation for this review. read more

Needed 2 large storage units real quick as we were moving items the same day. The online process was super easy to rent the first unit. The 2nd unit, however, only allowed me to reserve it. After a visit to this facility, both Stephanie and Josh were very helpful in making sure I was able to rent a 2nd unit right away. Stephanie toured me through the facility and answered all my questions. She helped my download the app to my phone and demonstrated the process to access the facility....again super easy. Public Storage's mobile app is very helpful and easy to navigate. Later that day I needed to add an authorized user and it was very simple to do via the app!!! The facility was very clean and everything in working order. Kudos to Stephanie and Josh!!! read more

The good: The place is clean, and modern looking. I don't mind going there at all. I actually do like how they follow up with you if you have a late payment (only been late once in 2 years due to my credit card info gotten compromised). The insurance is bull----. Get your own insurance! Don't get pushed into it. It feels pretty secure. Did I say clean? The best part is their online system rocks. You can see payment history, auto pay, REMOVE INSURANCE, schedule move out, etc. Customer service was okay. Could have been better when I first signed in. The lady was kinda rude but she was thorough and did give me a full tour. If you are opening an account at a Storage Unit, a Bank, a new cell phone provider or ANYWHERE, be nice. Because this is what the customer remembers. The bad: I want to give them a better rating, I really do, but the price hikes are crazy. I started with a decent rate of $85 in October 2014, which went on to $97 in May. What? Not even 12 months? Then to $107! I'm not looking forward for my next increase but I WILL be switching when that happens and drop another star here. read more
